(Just saying, my notes are not so aesthetic and they're kinda messy so xD)
An over-all (and first) update on my study progress today...
I revised about 7-8 lessons in Computer Science
Did a short revision of MCQs in Economics.
In general, it was an alright productive day and yeah.

why blog?
mainly because it will be a place for me to store my days so its easier to remember and journal, hope to keep myself up on the reminder that i do have to complete at least *something* today so i can note it down here. i might have difficulty keeping up though, it can slip my mind sometimes
posts?
i guess i'll post like a summary of what i accomplished today or how much energy i had, it's like a journal, to keep track of everything that happens in life, i get to include you in it too :) but i might repost a bit. things like study tips and progress, techniques, ranting, mental health reminders, books, quotes, motivation etc. anything related to studying. books, mental health and self care.
note: the blog begins 8.08.24. Anything before that is a large number of reposts
tag me
note: if you ever want to use my pictures (ones that i say are taken by me) by all means PLEASE do so! i am not someone who keeps art exclusive, it is a beauty to be shared by all, just simply tag me in the tags with either:
#chaiandpages
or
#chaiandpages_
Side Note: i love pinterest and tumblr, and some things i associate to myself quite a bit so i post them in my posts, they are NOT my pictures until i say they are, their credits go to their original owner who rightfully owns the image.
note: this template belongs to @study-diaries . Check out her blog!
My fourth exam is on Thursday so.... I can't take a rest T-T
(Don't mind the lighting, I'm sitting in the living room while everyone else is sleeping T-T)
I'm waiting for this exam to get done because then I'll be free for a week, not exactly free but I'll have time to breathe...
Tip: If you're bored and you're taking notes, just draw your notes. It enhances creativity and helps you remember better!
I better go xD
Today was kinda productive to be honest, i finished:
Four lessons in accounts
Completed a previous year question paper
Reviewed notes
Dreams don't work until you do.
I honestly got really off track here, it's been a mess for the past few days and honestly i'm kinda in a processing mode, a lot is happening and i feel disassociated with reality alittle but i guess life goes on?
What was i doing the past few days? Trying to study with severe cramps and not overthink anything... its not really working. I have like ton of tests and assignments next week and mid terms start the week after next and i am not ready.
I don't find myself studying or doing anything and honestly, i need a break but i can't get one until December end and we'll only get like a week so it's gonna be hard but i think i'll manage
So, what do I mean by using multiple senses? These senses usually employ in multisensory learning as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile – VAKT (i.e. seeing, hearing, doing, and touching)
Some may like to say the words out loud, some may like to hear them and many would prefer to write it down, some like getting hands on work and of course, depending on how you learn, they'll work for you but recently I've been using this method to study and it's so damn helpful.
The method I use is something that is applicable to mostly all subjects except maths and other subjects like physics or chemistry .
All you have to do is first you'll read the content then by looking at the content, you'll make notes about it. Draw small doodles related to it or draw a cycle of the content. Visualize the material! Then, you'll listen to the lecture notes or any videos about the content. And write more notes about it if you've missed any points! Then when you get the grasp of the material, you'll close the notes and you'll explain it to yourself aloud. Your voice needs to be loud and clear so you can hear it yourself. Then repeat! The more times you repeat explaining it to yourself, the better. Do it until you feel like you know the material well enough!
How does this help?
It uses the three main senses used for studying together which creates stronger connections in the brain
You're likely to remember the content for a longer period
Information will come rushing back in a matter of minutes if you had paid attention to it.
It helps you to remember main keywords easily
Enhances creativity
Is an active study method so you need to pay attention otherwise you won't be able to do this.
Hope this helps! Feel free to change this according to your needs. These methods can be experimented with! :)

Hey!
Thanks <33
There's no "New year. New me". There's only "New year. Old me with modifications." So, don't wait for the new year to work on yourself. Take small steps now so at the end of any year, you can actually say "I'm really happy with how I was this year and I'm only hoping to be better for the coming years". There's absolutely no time frame for changing yourself.
Reminder!
Your worth is NOT defined by:
Grades
Appearance
Weight
Height
Nationality
Gender
Race
Religion
Work
Degree
Illness
Disability (mental/physical)
Income
Your worth is not defined by anything. You are definitely worth it. You are enough. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
