Regulus: How did Sirius react when you told him we are dating?

James: He was cool with it actually

Regulus: James?

James: He tried to bite me

So I’ve kept mostly quiet about this on tumblr (mostly because my main audience is on tiktok) 

But I designed a 3 part cover set up for anyone wishing to print/bind All the Young Dudes for their own.

James: Okay but-

Dorcas (reading a book): Gay and Remus

Sirius (staring at Mary): Who-

Mary (rolling her eyes): Remus

James (shrugging): I can’t even be mad, I’d choose Remus too

Sirius (sighing): Same

Dark Remus. Remus who turned to Regulus after the prank. Becoming a master at card games and taking shots. Remus sneaking out after dark with Evan and Barty. Remus switching his jumpers for blazers. The whole of Slytherin remember that one party where Remus punched Snape, liquor in one hand, Regulus’ eyeliner, blood on his knuckles. Barty teaching him guitar. Dorcas letting him borrow her guitar. Chipped black nail polish. Smirks over breakfast, dark laughter during lessons. Pranks they get away with. Remus and Regulus flirting shamelessly while doing homework, stares as he walked in corridors. Putting Lily’s concealer in the bin, letting the light see his scars. Remus embracing the monster inside him as he lives amongst them:

i am such a firm believer that regulus fell in love first.

sure, james was interested first. how could he not be? reg was a walking contradiction, so completely different than his brother, yet so similar.

but the interest of someone who wasn’t told to be interested, wasn’t forced into it, wasn’t talking to him for any sort of gain, but just being with him for him, was new. as soon as james started paying attention to him, and talking to him, and smiling at him, regulus was done for. 

regulus barely fought as he went under.
