They Say Art Imitates Life For A Reason.

They say art imitates life for a reason.

Very tragic that this case more truer than ever

Let's consider a theoretical scenario where I was consuming some sort of fictional media, such as a book, about a conflict.

And let's just say that, in this conflict, there are two main groups fighting against each other.

The first group, which initiated the conflict, is proud in declaring their goal of destroying the entire people of the other group. They have slaughtered the other group in their own homes, taken them hostage into slavery, raped them, consistently indoctrinate and use child soldiers, admit to sacrificing their own civilians for their cause, violently mistreat their own civilians, use human shield strategies, and seek to maximize civilian casualties for all parties involved.

The other group, meanwhile, is the opposite. They proudly cherish life, protect all civilians involved to the best of their ability, provide medical services even to captured enemy combatants, simply wish to retain the land they are indigenous to, and just want to get their people back, and remove the hateful and violent other group from power (without aiming to take over in their place permanently).

And if, in this fictional media, people would popularly and irrationally deny history and reality in order to skew the morality of the latter group, and the popular stance was to justify and support the former group,

I'd believe the piece of media simply too irrational and too plain in their portrayal of good and evil to be believable.

And yet, that's not a poorly written fictional media. That's our reality, somehow.

Ooh! This is giving me an art idea!

Attention artists drawing Chanukah art! (Because I've seen wayyy too many incorrect depictions)

-The Shamash (the ninth candle, usually in the center or off to the side of a Chanukiyah (Chanukah menorah)) is used to light the other candles. It is lit first, and is the helper candle. It's not part of the lineup.

-The flames are lit from left to right, starting with the candle/oil well representing the current night. For example:

If this is the first night: _ _ _ _ _ _ _🕯️

And this is the third night: _ _ _ _ _ 🕯️🕯️🕯️

You would start by lighting the candle to the leftmost on the third night, and then move gradually to the right.

-The flames are supposed to be kept burning until they burn out. You don't reuse candles from the night before under ideal conditions (ideal being able to afford candles, etc).

-You can't use the candles on the Chanukiyah lineup to light other candles. That's what the Shamash candle is for. You're not supposed to use the Chanukiyah flames for anything.

there are corners of this website where the year is still 2013. and sometimes, on beautiful nights when the veil is thin, you can find them . if you know where to look

I hate it here now Tumblr isn’t fun anymore.

I came here to express my art and creativity while also maybe gaining a bigger following but I’m not so sure anymore.

For one I haven’t gotten anywhere during the past year. I’ve been posting more OG stuff yet no traction at all.

Tumblr used to be a silly old site where I could not only scream into the void but also allowing anything of niche interest. But now it’s just a sad, empty place…dead even.

I had my very first blog during 2019 in which doesn’t exist anymore and I can say for sure that it has not been the same since the period of 2019-2021. I really miss that era when it was actually fun and experimental.

FR that era of NFTs was wild! I’m glad it was only a trend for a short time…

Your NFTs Are Actually -- Finally -- Totally Worthless
Rolling Stone
New report from industry researchers finds that 95 percent of the once-hyped crypto assets have hit rock-bottom valuation

95% of NFTs are worthless, and most of the most expensive ones are priced between $5-100 where they were once drawing millions US$ apiece

Not a moment too soon, and fully deserved 😎

In conclusion-

95% Of NFTs Are Worthless, And Most Of The Most Expensive Ones Are Priced Between $5-100 Where They Were
