Just Saw A Video, Very Innocent Video Of A Woman With Her Legs Up, She Was Just Playing Around.

just saw a video, very innocent video of a woman with her legs up, she was just playing around.

70% of the comments are sexual, one is just a gif of a guy taking off his pants, one of the replies to that particular comment is - and i quote - "bro said consent-optional". another reply said "bro said shut up and take this" (due to the fact that she got excited and was making noise.)

another comment said "cameraman could've panned a little to the left" (left is where her lower body would be)

but poor men, right?

not all men.

not all men are misogynists or porn addicts.

that's a random woman, i dont know her and they dont know her.

the video is not sexual, its just her playing around and realizing her crocs light up, she got excited about it.

but it was men, only men, who made it sexual, because a woman was in it.

yet im supposed to trust them, dont judge them, dont assume the worst, how can i not? what are they offering that isnt the worst? how am i supposed to trust and assume they do things out of the good of their hearts when majority of my generation are tate-loving porn addicts.

There are not words to describe how I feel watching people on this app say that Biden is the lesser evil and everyone still needs to band behind him after videos upon videos of literal chunks of human flesh being picked off the ground in refugee camps and fathers brokenly calling out for their decimated children amongst the rubble in Palestine. No words

This Picture Has Been Circulating All Over Social Media And I Have More To Add:

This picture has been circulating all over social media and I have more to add:

Delete all period cycle tracking apps off your phone today.

Do not tell anyone why you want to take your trip, especially over text/apps.

Do not tell anyone the real state/destination of your trip.

Have everyone on your trip turn off their phones. Use written directions or a burner phone. Do not use burner phone to open any personal apps. Dispose of after trip.

Only use cash while purchasing ANYTHING on your trip.

Take “vacation” photos to post later. Be cautious of geo-tags/only post screenshots of the original photos.

Some people might say this is being extra or overly precautious, but this really is the reality we are facing. People have been imprisoned with murder charges in certain states- some for literal miscarriages. If you are a person that ends up in this situation, the state can and will use your data against you as evidence in court. Do not leave a paper trail. If they want to treat us like criminals, we’re gonna move like criminals.

How To Respond When Your Emotions Are Invalidated ✨

Keep Your Cool: Before you respond, make sure you're feeling calm and collected. It helps you talk things out better.

Use "I" Statements: Share your feelings using phrases that start with "I" to avoid sounding like you're blaming them. Example: "I felt hurt when you said that my feelings don't matter."

Explain the Situation: Tell them what exactly happened or what they said that made you feel invalidated. Example: "When you brushed off my concerns, it felt like you didn't care about what I think."

Share Your Emotions: Describe how their actions or words made you feel. Example: "It left me feeling frustrated and like you weren't listening."

Ask for Understanding: Request that they try to see things from your perspective and acknowledge how you're feeling. Example: "Could you try to understand where I'm coming from and why I'm upset?"

Set Boundaries: If needed, let them know how you want to be treated in the future. Example: "Moving forward, I'd appreciate it if you could take my feelings more seriously."

Stay Calm: Avoid making things worse by staying focused on the issue and not getting into a heated argument. Example: "I don't want to fight; I just want you to understand how your comments affect me."

Encourage a Conversation: Ask them to talk openly and respectfully. Be open to hearing their side as well. Example: "Let's chat about this and try to understand each other better."

Be Patient: Give them time to process what you've said and don't expect an instant change in their behavior. Example: "I know it might take time to make things better, but I hope we can work on this together."

listen at this point if you think "free palestine" means anything along the lines of "kick out all jewish people" you are either purposefully obtuse or a covert genocide apologist. how the fuck do you see "illegal occupation is wrong and bad" and somehow get "they want reverse ethnic cleansing" out of it. be fucking for real.

"I didn't know" is no longer an excuse. people have been telling you about this in varying degrees of urgency for a long ass time. take some responsibility.

When I see plastic surgery like this, I don't feel disgust for the women. I feel disgust for the society that convinced them their noses are not beautiful

Wangari Maathai By Katherine Krizek

Wangari Maathai by Katherine Krizek

“Every person who has ever achieved anything has been knocked down many times. But all of them picked themselves up and kept going, and that is what I have always tried to do.”

The holistic approach to sustainable development that Wangari Maathai, founder of the Green Belt Movement, embodies embraces human rights and women’s right in particular. Her tree planting campaign empowered more than 300,000 women to plant more than 51 million trees, generating income for the rural women participants and promoting environmental consciousness in her native Kenya.

An accomplished scholar and a tireless political and environmental activist she was the first African woman to receive a Nobel prize.

Born 1940, Kenya
