Older Black gay men in long term relationships are rarely covered or seen by main stream media.
One of my friends passed away recently from COVID and was a Nahua just like me who wanted to revitalize our language and inspire others to engage with their cultures. Instead of sending me freakish and weird messages, please help fund Indigenous mutual aid and learning programs to show you actually care about Indigenous people and not what they look like from two pictures you’ve seen.

hayao miyazaki on ableism re: AI depicting “zombie”-like movements:
presenter:
miyazaki:
the last part usually gets quoted out of context as a meme or to paint miyazaki as an unreasonable grump but he was speaking against the ableist usage of disabled people’s movements for shock value & evoking ‘grotesquery.’

If you wanna find out who your true bias is, just take it for fun, or actually don’t have a bias and are just bored/curious, this quiz is for you! (sorry lol I’m tryna make this nice-sounding, but do whatever u want haha)
i too, like a character from a wes anderson film, wish for nothing but a gentle escape from my reality, for a chance to run off into the woods with the love of my life until our legs burn and we reach a field of wildflowers situated below the most picturesque sunset visible to our mortal eyes
the time is well past midnight and whilst you don’t want to leave the party entirely, you need a moment of rest as you sit outside on your best friends parents patio listening to the violent thump of the music muffled through the glass screen door
perhaps there is more to life than late nights huddled under an itchy blanket on your family couch but, if we really are being honest, is there anything more comforting than that though?
here is a cordial invitation to join me and the gang by the coastline pier where we can skate across the boardwalk and steal ice cream right out of the plethora of stands lined along the shore
the summer, as always, approaches slowly yet with little warning before the heat overtakes suburbia and it’s golden rays begin to entice vibrant flowers out of their buds and into the warmth of the day, that same warmth that melts ice cream down your fingertips as you walk barefoot across the burning concrete
despite the fact i managed to drunkenly confess my love to you last saturday without reciprocation here you are, still being nice to be whilst i absentmindedly tug at your sweatshirt
gazing across the abandoned factory in which you sit atop empty crates, you accidentally make eye contact with the ghost that watched the world turn to ruins. their stare is somewhat vacant but the way they wrap their non-existent arms around your bruised torso in a slow waltz to the vintage tunes playing between the radio silence makes you feel more alive than you did shooting at those bastard runaways
okay so my friend and I were talking about how skz personal accounts would look like so yeah I decided to write it out lol

“I am the daughter of the witch you couldn’t burn”. -White “feminists”
…
People were no burned because they were witches.
People were burned because of paranoia and superstitions, severe misogyny, xenophobia, people thinking epilepsy and other disabilities were demonic possession, people fearing red hair, wearing colorful clothing, jealousy, blemished skin and skin conditions in general, birthmarks, and fungi, which caused the hallucinations which were thought to be demonic possession and “the devil”.
The fact that white women are taking this part of history, and twisting it to make themselves look cool and hip is absolutely disrespectful and disgusting. Real people suffered and died. This is not something to glorify and praise.
hi it's black history month and i happen to be black and trans and neurodivergent and im saving up to move out of an abusive homophobic household after i turn 18 in a month so here's my cashapp if yall wanna send some reparations <3
-He starts out looking on YouTube for some sort of simple solution to a normal teenage skin problem
-Covering a pimple, covering dark circles, how to match eyebrows to dark hair
-Because that dark brown DEF comes from a bottle
-Connor’s a blonde baby but blonde hair doesn’t make him look tough
-But he sees a bunch of easy makeup tutorials for guys and gets Inspired™
-He sneaks into Zoe’s room and borrows her makeup
-He does his best for his first try
-It doesn’t look awful???
-He looks honestly, like, ethereal
-at least in his opinion
-But for real, he looks beautiful
-So he keeps doing it
-Keeps experimenting
-Keeps “borrowing” Zoe’s makeup
-She has to keep replacing products that are definitely being emptied too quickly
-And products that straight up “disappear”
-no one deserves to be forgotten
-And Connor is like “whaaaaat? that’s craaaaaazyyyyy” not that he actually cares or anything
-He’s too cool and tough for that
-But he is getting tired of Zoe’s crappy drugstore makeup she uses
-He buys her a bunch of high-quality pro makeup and brushes for Christmases and birthdays
-Uses those occasions as excuses to also buy stuff for himself
-Connor “Treat Yo Self” Murphy
-Zoe finds out by walking in on him one day
-She’s not mad, just shocked
-“How the hell are your wings so sharp?!?! Teach me!!!”
-“Only if I can keep using your makeup without you saying anything about it to Mom and Larry.”
-“Wait, you what?” “What?”
