I'm not having fun creating here anymore. I can't handle the inbox threats, I can't handle the rumors and I can't handle the constant dread of being perceived incorrectly. I apologize to my audience but I'm not going to be posting here anymore. Thank you for the support from those who have been kind and understanding. Thank you to those who have criticized me fairly and maturely, and especially thank you to those who have brought it to me privately and been considerate of my symptoms during.

I will be using this inbox to do requests in my discord server only. I am safer from threats and harm there, and I can create freely out of harms way. Any commissions I've taken on this app have been moved to discord. My emotes will remain in a google drive and archived here. I will not be responding to any further public drama. If you see something insane said about me, please bring it to me privately before you believe it in full. Be your own person and have your own thoughts. Don't defend or attack blindly because those around you are. 🫶

In full admission, I've had issues in the past with

1. Aggressive lash outs towards people I've perceived as attacking me

2. Creating unoriginal art

I've been targeted by a lot of people in this community. I joined this community around a year ago, and turned 17 last September. the leading people causing the attacks are adults I've cut contact with for my own safety. I really can't do this anymore. I get blamed for just about everything that happens involving me, and I don't have the energy to reply or defend or apologize anymore. If you don't like me, that's okay. You can even hate me if I've wronged you or if you literally just want to. All I ask is that you're careful how with how obsessed you become, and try to spread kindness in this community when you can; even if it's far away from me. There are children on this app who want to create. Make it safe for them; and I apologize when I made it unsafe too. I've gotten better, I promise you.

I'm not a perfect person. Hell, I'm probably not even a good person sometimes. But I did try, and that's what matters to me. I tried and I created and I bonded with people I now consider really close friends. I survived attacks on my mental health, and I now get to go focus on my more private community away from all this. I lived and you will too.

Here is an unedited speed paint of that emoji. I did not trace Reki. However; I see that I was subconsciously referencing/inspired by Reki's emoji and I'm very sorry. I hadn't ever realized that. I had no intention of copying it, and I hope my screen-recording proves that. I was trying to remake Custom Emotes cheek kiss. To Reki; I'm genuinely sorry. I will take the emote down and recreate it more originally.

Unfortunately I don't have many speedpaints due to the fact I do not have a good ipad and its storage is very bad. I often have to delete past canvases to make room for new ones when I'm done, or the app won't work. I hope the speedpaint I've shared is able to prove that we have issues subconsciously redrawing emojis we've seen. It doesn't make it okay — but it is not intentional as many claim. We have gone back and apologized for this issue and have stopped & double checked every new emoji we make now, just to be sure.

We checked this artists boundaries with staff beforehand and credited the artist. We are willing to take this down if it's too close, it is not traced. It is heavily inspired; and that was said publicly.

That's the point. It's supposed to look similar. It was one of our first ever interactions on our new tumblr account, and we wanted to make a matching emoji guy to the one they'd sent as a silly response. It isn't meant to be used as a public emoji. The credit obviously goes to that person because our emoji was posted in response to them. They never brought this up as an issue with us. If it is a problem, we will take it down if that creator reaches out.

This isn't traced. None of the lines match. The only similar quality is the expression which, again, is easy to subconsciously recreate. Especially because of the fact we used this emoji a few times in the past. This doesn't make it okay and we will take the emojis down due to unoriginality, but this isn't traced and the artist has stated in the past that they were okay with inspiration.

I have nothing to say here besides sorry. It is obvious that in the past we have had a blatant issue with accidentally recreating emojis/art we had internalized, and we've apologized for that multiple times publicly and stopped. We now double check everything we make to make sure we're not accidentally copying someone. I have no recollection of making this emoji, but we obviously must've referenced this artist while trying to make spider emotes and forgot about it before posting. (We used to draw emojis and let them sit in our ibis paint before posting them.) Before we had a bigger audience we really didn't take crediting or this issue seriously and we understand now, especially with our own boundaries, that it wasn't okay. We haven't been shown this before to my memory and I'm really, genuinely sorry. That does NOT make it okay and I am completely at fault for the lack of credit. I've background searched the art but I can't find the artist. Those emotes will be taken down, and if anyone knows who drew this, please let me know.

I've never said people have to like me. I've said the exact opposite, but at least bring things to me before saying stuff that isn't true. I have been open with the fact that this was an issue witn us, but we've worked really hard to fix it. This wasn't a simple issue to be fixed; it was literally how our mind, memory and creativity worked. Still, I'm sorry. Like we've said before, we won't let it happen again.

Question what did K9 do? I already dislike them due to something that happened with one of my friends but I wanted to know what everyone else was mad about

We don't like them for. Several reasons

- tracing and making excuses for it

- then said they talked and apologized for it "publicly" when the only place they did it on is their fucking discord server

(which even the ppl on their discord didn't know they did apparently)

- the number name thing (will go into detail if asked)

- "supporting delusions" being on their dni (will go into detail if asked)

- they think they own the color pallet they typically use and are associated with

- they say that people that are inspired by their emotes and art are stealing instead of . Being inspired by their emotes and art.

( You can have your own boundaries and that's great but there's a clear difference between the two )

- responding to certain discourse involving them that sounds absolutely made up and not the ones that have large amounts of evidence and people backing it up

- they said "Endos cannot silence or hurt us anymore than we let them." Which is not true at all??? Not as big of a gripe but like. Dude???? No???? Like. The people making our lives worse, oppressing us, and spreading misinformation on masa aren't going to stop just because we ignore them or stop listening to them. This is not a problem you can just solve by not giving them attention.

And this one is baseless but I'm pretty sure I remember their community / followers have harassed other creators in the past due to drama, most likely multiple times which is not okay.

Hello. It seems like we have to keep making posts about this, because nobody has come forward and said anything to us. I understand that some people might be scared, or feel like I’m only offering to listen to spread things around.

If you don’t know already, we are the partner of a popular(ish) emoji artist, under the username of K9emote. If you aren’t aware of what’s going on in his community, it might help to find some posts under his name. A lot of accusations about him have gone around, and we have said many times for people to DM us or to contact us in any way.

For anybody who has stories to share, anybody who has some sort of issue or has heard drama, I am offering a listening ear to you. While it may seem daunting because we’re his boyfriend, I can assure you that we are not going to attack you, share anything that you don’t want shared, or shut you down.

I am willing to be a messenger. I am willing to talk about any issues you have with our boyfriend, his community, his server, anything you need from us. We are open to criticism. We are open to ranting. If you have proof, even better.

One thing that I ask you not to do is this— please, please do not go online and spread your message without consulting someone on the inside first. I know what you believe, and I will not try to change your mind. I will not try to make you like our boyfriend. I am simply asking you to not perpetuate the death threats and the hate he gets.

While I’m not going to air out everything without his permission, he is already in an incredibly bad state. He cannot handle it.

This is why we’re stepping up. We have access to every ticket in our server, access to a lot of information. We have answers, we have explanations, and we are the one who can bring about the most change you want to see in his community because we’re directly affiliated with him.

We aren’t here to change your mind. We’re here to bring you peace. We’re here to give you an apology where it’s needed, and here to help you realize things behind the scenes.

We are all human and we all need to recognize that everyone on emojiblr is mentally ill, chronically online, you name it. All of us are hurting. But all of us also need to accept the fact that people make mistakes, and that some things just aren’t the end of the world. That things don’t need to blow up— you can resolve things in private, you can end things peacefully.

So much drama has been spread. So much information has been twisted to people’s perspectives. I only want to give his community the honest truth. I only want to help, and give you what you need.

I ask you again, come to us. Don’t send hate in his asks. Don’t spread things without the proper context. We can resolve things peacefully. We can help you get the apology you might be due for. You aren’t in the wrong for having feelings, but keeping the train of constant hate in this community running isn’t what we need.

Let's all just back down, stop speculating, and don't ask questions to the Hermits. We might get to know more in the future, or we might not. They don't owe us any more information in reality.

Doc has said that he can't talk about it, and based on Mumbo's tweet and the og tweet, I'd assume that the Hermits can't currently speak about the situation.

So don't ask them anything. Have patience instead.

Here's a list of what we do know:

Out of respect for the privacy of the people involved, they're not going to say more

Don't speculate. It just makes all the information that we do have less clear.

Also, don't go, "I was never a fan of Iskall either way."

People are allowed to be upset. You're not better or more morally good because you never enjoyed his content.

Also, reminder: We don't know the Hermits personally. We don't really know their views on things. We don't know them. YouTube is their job.

Saying that you "always got a weird vibe" is honestly a p weird thing to do. That's based on nothing, and we still don't actually know what happened.

So, stop speculating. Try to keep track of what the actual information is.

If this whole thing upsets you, try to find other things to do in the meantime.

Introducing: The Life Series Comment-a-thon

In light of several of the content creators involved mentioning negative comments on Wild Life, Secret Life, and Life Series videos in general, I want to suggest an event that encourages people to leave positive comments on life series videos as well!

The life series has some of the kindest and most supportive people I have ever encountered in fandom, and I think the creative minds behind the series deserve to get some of that love too. There is no starting or finishing day to this event, as the intention is for fans to leave kind comments highlighting what they love about Wild Life and the Life Series in general, over the course of the current season. I have devised a total of eight weekly comment prompts, making an educated guess as to how long the season will be based off previous season, intended to encourage you to leave a comment on at least one video per week.

There is no time limit or minimum word count for comments. Just be kind, be honest, and don’t tear other creators down in the process of trying to build others up (“[X creator] is so overrated, people should be watching you instead”, “you deserved to win so much more than [Y creator]”, etc.). Without further ado, The Life Series Comment-a-thon:

Week 1: comment on at least one video telling the creator that you liked the video!

Week 2: pick a team/alliance, then tell at least one person in that alliance that you are really enjoying the dynamic of their team/them collaborating with the other member(s) of the team.

Week 3: tell a new member or one who skipped one or more seasons (Gem who joined last season, Ren, Mumbo, Lizzie, Skizz, and Bdubs who all either missed or did not originally post their POVs of a season) that you are happy they are on the life series.

Week 4: Most of the creators involved in the life series are male, but we know that those who are not get a larger share of the negative comments. This week pick one of them (Lizzie, Pearl, Gem, and Cleo) and tell them that you enjoy their video/their content/etc!

Week 5: leave a comment on someone’s video mentioning at least one specific thing you enjoyed about their episode/their season.

Week 6: pick a person whose videos you have not yet commented on in this event and leave them a comment saying you look forward to their episodes every week/season.

Week 7: write a short, positive comment (e.g “I loved this episode” , “this was great” , “keep up the good work”) and leave it on every POV you watch this week.

Week 8: leave a comment on someone’s video mentioning at least three specific thing you enjoyed about their episode/their season. Alternatively pick three videos to leave one specific compliment on.

Week 9+: repeat one of the previous week prompts, or better yet combine two or more! You can pick yourself, use an eight-sided die, or a random number generator to decide for you.

I know commenting can be scary and that it can be hard to find the words. At the end of the post, beneath the the read-more cut, I have a list of suggestions for what you can bring up in a comment. Just below this you will also find a list of things you can do to let the content creators know that you love their art that are not commenting!

Other things you can do:

Like ten comments on a lifer’s video

Like every video you watch

Watch a video from one of the less popular content creators (subscriber wise, or within the fandom) on the day it comes out

And most importantly:

Reblog this post and/or repost it to other social media platforms to spread the word of the comment-a-thon!

A list of questions to spark comment ideas:

Did a joke make you laugh?

Did you catch them making a reference to another season, SMP, or piece of media?

Did the creator interact with someone in a way you enjoyed?

What made the interaction stand out?

Did they build something you thought was pretty?

What part did you like best: the shape, the blocks they chose to use, how it ties into their season, or how it ties into the terrain around it?

If they have a new skin, what is your favourite part of it?

Did they use background music in a way you thought was especially fitting? In what way?

Did a change from one scene to the next feel very well-timed, smooth, or narratively fitting?

If you did not notice any scene changes or cuts, can you think of something the creator did to make you feel immersed in the story of the video instead of the video making itself?

What do you hope happens next? (be sure to tell them that whether it happens or not you still look forward to watching the rest of their season)

Did something surprise you?

Did the content creator say or do something that made you have a new idea?

Did you learn something new about minecraft?

Please be kind. This series is meant to be fun. It’s insane to me that people would be cruel about which friends people choose to hang out with in a Minecraft series. It’s okay if people gravitate toward the same people. If it were you, you’d automatically hang out with your closest friends too. It’s absolutely bonkers that people are actually taking to the comment sections about it.

C’mon, we’re better than this. For goodness sake.
