i HATE how tiktok is reducing ethel cain and preachers daughter to cannibalism. preachers daughter dissects real issues of religious trauma, inter generational trauma, abandonment, etc etc - cannibalism is not the main aspect of the album, nor is it that of ethel’s story.

stop clinging on to cannibalism as a metaphor for love when there are so many other aspects of hayden’s lyricism and art that are so much more complex and profound.

I just know that the dudes who make those "girls get 500 compliments a day vs. guy gets one compliment once and cherishes it for the rest of his life" memes put zero effort into their appearance. Like what exactly do you expect people to say? Wow nice plain ill-fitting hoodie, goes great with your basic-ass blue jeans and nondescript haircut. Got some real cool Grey Man vibes going on, you could seamlessly blend into any crowd ever without being seen at all.

Like nobody has any obligation to look any certain way, but you can't expect to be praised for doing something you're not even trying to do. I dress like I got tarred and feathered in a Tim Burton film costume department discard scrap pile, and someone saying they like my style is a biweekly occurrence.

Report It! Locate the three dots in the top right corner of the post, open it, and select 'report to moderators'. This overrides all of our other notifications from the community, highlighting the reported post so we can find it quicker. Note: You can also report their profile/post to Tumblr.

Make a border post! We want to minimize how many people are exposed to this bot post, as they are typically sexual. This kind of content can be especially triggering to some, or harmful to under aged members. Guide: "Bot Below!" {10 or so spaces} "Take Care!"

Block! These bots tend to mass post across several communities, so block their user! This means that now that you've seen them once, it won't happen again while browsing your other communities. Note: They typically get banned very quickly, and new bots appear. It's a game of whack-a-mole, and it never ends, so more of them will pop up.

Steve gives up and goes to law school — just like his dad always wanted. But not out of obedience. Oh no. He does it out of pure, unfiltered spite. It’s that unhinged desire for petty revenge that somehow turns Steve into a genuinely good lawyer. Like, worryingly good. Turns out, it’s easy to learn when you don’t take any of it too seriously — and your internal monologue is just a running track of “let’s see what happens if I win.”

Halfway through law school, he meets Eddie Munson. Accused of crimes in one state. Hiding out in another. A rising rockstar. A chaos gremlin. A walking lawsuit. And unfortunately, Steve’s new client — because Steve just had to sign up for that unpaid “public defender internship.”

The rest is legal hellfire, leather jackets, and questionable decision-making.

Oh, and falling in love. Probably. Maybe.

Wrong Number AU where Eddie gets a new number and then starts receiving text messages from the most depressed person still alive.

At first, he ignored them.

It’s pretty obvious that this guy thinks he’s texting a dead friend or dad or someone. Eddie’s not going to take that away from someone clearly grieving, but then the texts get concerning.

He shoots a text back. After the initial ‘WHAT THE FUCK???’ and Eddie explaining the concept of companies reusing phone numbers, they talk. Eddie tells him to text him anytime he’s feeling low.

They talk almost everyday.

Eddie’s mystery texted won’t tell him his real name. He says he likes the anonymity of it and something about the government, but Eddie wishes he’d change his mind.

Sometimes Sad Boy will text him in the middle of a depression spiral and the conversation with tapper off without any good resolution. Eddie spends half the night worried to death only to receive a text the following morning like ‘ALL GOOD. FELL ASLEEP.’

He wants to respect Sad Boy’s wishes but he also wants to find him. And then he does find him, completely on accident.

He is following his newest Hellfire member into a store so he can get money off his brother. Eddie is honestly not paying much attention to who Dustin is talking to, shooting a text off to Sad Boy about strangling the youth.

He hits send and hears a ding immediately.

He looks up to find Steve Harrington pulling his phone out of his pocket. He shoots a text back and Eddie’s phone vibrates a laughing emoji.

Oh no.

I fuck with EMT Steve. It’s the perfect job for him. He’s used to dealing with out of control patients and high pressure situations. Just give that man training and send him on his way.

Bonus points if Eddie becomes a nurse after being ripped to shreds as he really owes his life to the nurses that kept his heart beating.
