Absolutely my raven 🥰
Pairing:Peter Parker x reader
Description:While Peter talks to Aunt May downstairs you read a book laying on his bed
You and Peter had been dating for a couple of months and had been to his house quite a few times and met his Aunt May who adored and loved you like another child to take care of and for.Currently you were laying in his bed after changing into spare clothes you left at his house and reading one of the books you carried with you and it was one of your personal favorites that you have read multiple times but always read it like it was the first time all over again as you wear his hoodie that he left laying in his chair in front of his desk. You started dozing off putting the hood over your head and putting your book on his nightstand and a couple of minutes later you fell asleep and only a couple of minutes later peter walks in closing the door to see you asleep in his hoodie in his bed making him smile as he quietly gets in bed next to you holding you and gently taking the hood off your head running his fingers through your hair until he fell asleep as well not knowing that while you slept aunt may walked in the room to tell you that dinner was about ready but instead smiles and puts a blanket on the two of you walking out closing the door finishing dinner and watching tv until you both woke up and the three of you are together.
RIGHT?! I only knew one other person who ate it like that!
Listen, peanut butter is a way of life
Agreed😌 I eat it by the spoonful. Everyone always judges me for it.
Literally my dad walks in on me in the pantry and it’s late and the pantry light is broken so it’s dark, and I’m getting a spoonful of peanut butter, and he just shakes his head at me in disappointment. They don’t understand 😭😂
reblog if you’re in-love with chase davenport
💚
Hello please reblog this if you’re okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
No don’t be sorry! Thank you🥹Definitely needed this💚 And that last bit, My heart😭
Hey, this is kind of self indulgent since it’s hella early, still dark outside, and I can’t seem to fall asleep haha
How does Chase deal or react to his s/o when he realizes they have trouble sleeping? Like when they have a lot of stress, that stress affects their sleep, dreams, and it makes them incredibly anxious? Any who, I hope your having a really good day/evening💚
Heyy, sorry this took me forever to write 😅
He's def worried about them. Trying to find ways to help them to sleep and make them less anxious.
He'll stay up with them to keep them company on nights they can't sleep.
Having naps becomes a couples activity.
Chase making them lavender tea to help with the anxiety before bed.
He also reads to them.
I think Chase has this same struggle with anxiety and sleeping. He's been through a lot in his life. So he's using all his knowledge of sleep anxiety to help them as much as he can.
I’m back!
Hello crazies, I’ve been away for about 5 months. II was dealing with some serious family issues. I started this because it made me happy during a bit of a stressful time but it abruptly got worse so I’ve been taking a break from social media and trying to be their for my family. I was not mentally or emotionally ready to get back into writing and I should’ve put a warning out sooner that I wasn’t gonna be on. Anyways I feel much better and I want to get back into it and start writing again.
I’ve got some new ideas and a new a list for what I write for to put up. Have a wonderful day/night!💚✨I’m Sorry and thank you
Ps: Finally finally! My phone isn’t broken (I broke it like 3 times this year it was bad) but I have a new one so I’m getting some saved stuff back *written letters and stuff*)
Do you ever get like anxiety that is so bad that you don’t message anybody and distance yourself (overthinking and all that jazzz) but then you feel guilty so you try to hype yourself up to message that friend and then you don’t and realize that youve been fighting with yourself for 5 MONTHS LIKE WTH WHERE DID THE TIMEGO!!!!! Anyways yeah so anxiety’s a pain in the ass
Hii, I promise im gonna write the hc u sent me, just haven't been super motivated rn
Take your time! I totally understand💚
TW: Slight Violence and Death
Clambering on to one of the stone walls outside of Erebor, nearly collapsing from the sheer amount of exhaustion pouring through your body, until you are driven to shakily push off the wall, intent on making it to the marketplace before they advance too much further. Pumping your legs up through the corridors in an attempt to get there any faster, before a crudely forged sword is thrust in your direction, the wielder no more appealing than its weapon. You immediately dodge to the side, flattening your body to the stone, before grasping your own blade and swinging it to the attacker's outstretched arm, before shoving off of the stone and lunging forward with your blade into its chest.
Nearly toppling over with its body, you rush to the nearest passageway, hoping to beat Azog's troops to the marketplace before it becomes further overrun. Even if your body is screaming at you to decelerate and let exhaustion take over, you change your stride to a more rushed one.
When you stumble into the marketplace, you're greeted by the clashing of weapons from a battle between elven soldiers and orcs. Rushing into the battle, you decide to aide a desperate soldier with an orc who was pressing its sword dangerously close to their face, making the hasty decision that the fastest and most efficient way to take out the orc would be to drive your sword through the orcs tough skin at the base of its neck, stalling it enough for the soldier to manage the final blow. Right as you're about to take a swing at one of the dastardly looking ones, an arrow flies right above your shoulder, you immediately take your swing at the orc's neck, severing it neatly before whirling around to find your assailant. But instead an eleven archer shoots it down before you can even pull out your bow. You swiftly exit the marketplace and make your way to Erebor's front lines, but not before nodding your gratitude to them.
You quickly blend in with the carnage erupting in front of you as you join everyone on the front lines. You quickly regain your bearings When you see the orcs tearing through the barrier of dwarves, you hurry across to them, blade drawn.
You strike first, slashing the top section of an enemy's chest, but that isn't enough to wipe them out, so you promptly back up in preparation to deliver the final blow by piercing through to the heart, that is, until a thunderous boom resonates over the battlefield. Breaking away from the combat for a moment, you watch as the stones that formerly guarded Erebor's entrance are now crumbling in front of everyone's eyes. Thorin is in the lead, striding through the dust with his weapons drawn, and Fili and Kili on either side. As everyone has been reunited, the fighting field has taken on a new intensity.
When you reunite with them, you see that the illness that had previously tormented Thorin's mind has vanished. He clasps his hand over your shoulder, almost forcing you to buckle. “I know I shouldn't ask this of you, but will you come with me...to bring an end to this once and for all?” he says. There's a brief pause before you respond with a faint smile and a hand on his shoulder, "what sort of friend would I be if I didn't?" shaking you slightly he releases his hold on you seeming to light up with a new found energy as you all start off on your journey up the mountain to Azog's demise.
Reaching your destination, you quickly clear the few remaining at the top of the mountain, when Kili asks, “Where is he?” Fili soon follows him, saying, "It looks empty," with a slight pause before you add on, "do you think Azog has retreated?" Thorin continues to look out over the iced stream before gruffly answering, "I don't think so," before swiftly deciding to divide you all up. He orders Kili, Fili, and you to scout the towers, stating, "Fili, take your brother and y/n up to the towers to scout them, if you spot anything, do not engage and return back instantly!"
Dwalin speaks out “ Goblin mercenaries, no more than a hundred ” as they start to pile their way over the stairway, Thorin pushes all three of you to the side as he yells at you to leave. All three of you quickly make your way to the towers.
The three of you make your way along the tower's narrow hallways until you reach a point where the passageway divides in two. A commotion is heard from your left, and you all step forward to inspect it until Fili extends an outstretched arm towards you and Kili. “Kili, you and y/n go and search the lower levels...” he stated quietly so as not to alert any undesired guests. As you approached him to challenge his call, he repeats his statement, "Just go! ... I'll be fine,” he adds as he watches you both reluctantly flee in the opposite direction before going off to investigate on his own.
Quickly turning around when you think it's safe enough to avoid being caught by Fili, you double back, but before you can make it more than three steps Kili already has a hold on you “where are you going!?!?” you quickly turn back around and retort with “don't worry! I'll be back.... I promise" slightly smiling to calm his worries. He relaxes his grasp and nods, allowing you to follow his brother.
It wasn't as difficult as you had thought it would be to catch up with Fili. Trailing slightly behind him, so he wouldn't notice that you were there. He stops sensing a presence, As he swings back, you quickly press yourself into the wall until He huffs, then walks with a slight jump in his step. That is, until a grey arm shoots out from one of the corridors linked to the passageway and grabs him roughly; he squirms, attempting to break free, but the grip on him seems to be too tight. He swings his sword and connects with his attacker, but it isn't enough to make them drop him. You decide to step in and grab your blade, preparing to slam it into the grey hand grasping your friend.
Fili had managed to gather his bearings and slam his sword into the assailant's head as your dagger pierced the orc's hand. He swiftly rises from the ground, catching his breath in the process. You frantically question, “Are you okay!?” as Fili absorbs his near-death experience. He takes a big breath before looking up and replies, almost chuckling with disbelief, “ ...I think so...". Before pushing off each other, you give him a brief but solid hug , "We need to find Kili!" Fili exclaims, already rushing in the direction of his brother, adding on "This was undoubtedly a trap!" You sprint aside him, pushing your body harder to ensure your friend's safety.
You and Fili were rushing through the corridors, desperately trying to find the quickest route to Kili, when you came across a fight. All you saw was a whirl of red hair slaying the orcs littering the corridor. As you get closer, you join her by slicing through the base of an orc's head with your blade. Moving forward you can now hear Kili battling. Knowing you're getting closer intensifies your drive to protect your friend.
Tauriel begins shouting out for Kili as you emerge from the narrow passage. You see Kili is fending against two orcs when you snap your head up. You rapidly notch an arrow before centering it on your target, taking one more breath before releasing it. Kili turns to face you, and you expect him to be relieved, but rather he opens his mouth and shouts a warning to " watch out! " swiveling your head to the side, as you catch a glimpse of Bolg precisely as he is about to throw your world off its axis. After having the air knocked out of your lungs, you stare up for a brief second before heaving yourself off the ground to gather your footing. Tauriel is slammed into the side of the wall, standing fully upright now, you clutch your blade in your grip.
Kili has now fully descended to your level, and the four of you have formed a ring around Bolg, with Fili making the first move but being forced to retreat back as Bolg lunged at him with his blades. Kili takes advantage of this by sweeping his sword at Bolg's back, causing him to pull back from Fili. With your bow still drawn, you notch an arrow and fire it directly into Bolg's shoulder. Bolg pulls back before regaining his composure and charging at you with renewed vigor. Bracing yourself, you prepare for the blow, only looking up when it doesn't come to discover Kili had taken the strike and is now lying motionless on the side. With a new fury lit in you, as you approach Bolg, gripping your sword tighter than ever before, lunging for his knees, slicing at the critical tendon that keeps his legs moving. Falling to his knees, you deliver the fatal blow, grabbing his head and forcing your blade to run across his neck, almost as deep as it takes to sever it.
Taking only a few moments to gather your thoughts before rushing over to your fallen friend, Tauriel kneeling over his body with tears streaming down her cheeks, Fili doing the same. You took a slow look at your friend, who was bleeding from the nose and the back of his head. Except for your friends' sniffling, there was complete silence. Your own tears challenged to fall, until he began to move, just hardly, but enough to let us know he wasn't gone yet. You were the first to speak up, saying, "Fili, Tauriel, take Kili and get him away from here, he's going to need some serious care." Fili looked at you and responded by saying, "And what are you going to do?!?" You responded, "I need to find Thorin, because if Bolg is here, Azog most likely has him!"
You rush out of the watch tower and onto the icy terrain, where you see Thorin fighting Azog. You swiftly join the fight, announcing your arrival by sending an arrow past Azog's thigh, grazing it just enough to evoke a response from him. As he turns his attention to you, he begins his path towards you, and you prepare yourself. Realizing that it would be better for you to go on the offensive, you begin sprinting at him, dropping your body once you're close enough to allow you to slide through the section of his legs, slicing at his calf as you do so.
You instantly spring up, almost colliding with Thorin, and prepare yourself for an approaching attack from Azog. As he swings his war mace, you and Thorin evade it, sliding out of his range. You prepare to shoot another arrow at Azog, but as you notch it, you notice Thorin struggling to retain his balance, prompting you to fire the arrow faster than before. The ice had begun to separate as the arrow flew through the air and struck its target, throwing you off your feet.
You frantically try to get to Thorin and enter the fight as you get onto a more stable piece of ice. You pull out your blade, strapping your bow to your body, and ready to drive it into Azog before he can do any more devastation.
Azog attempts to force his blade into Thorin before you can execute the attack; in a split second decision, you shoved Thorin out of the path, taking the blade into your body before driving your own into Azog's neck. As you fall to the ice, you're no longer conscious of the cold but of the burning coming from your abdomen. Azog falls back into the ice as he releases his grip on his blade. Thorin rushes over to you and takes your head in his hands, hastily placing his hand over your wound, and you gasp as a new wave of agony washes over you.
Thorin's panicked tone is the first to reach your ears: "hey-hey, just look at me.. ok?!?" As he tried to calm himself for you, his breaths were uneven, and you glanced up at him, tears distorting your sight. You open your mouth to speak, but scarcely any sound comes out. Thorin speaks out once more, this time asking, "Why?" "Why? Did you take that blade for me?!?” As the searing started to fade and was being replaced with an unsettling chill, all you could think of was reaching up to his face and repeating, “w-what... sort... of friend would... I be... if... I... didn't?...”
ahhhh ok ok so this was a request and i was super inspired by it so instead of doing headcannons i thought i would make it into a legit oneshot! I'm not used to writing fighting scenes so that's why you'll notice they tend to be short. also you could technically have this be a continuation of the 'Impulsive reader' headcannon i did like two days ago if you wanted :) i hope you guys liked this :))
