Everyone should be entitled to a free little treat once per day when they leave the house. A hot beverage, a cookie, whatever. You should have government issued daily tokens and you should be able to go into a shop or a cafe and pick what you like and take it to the counter and hand them your token and say "this is my free little daily treat" and then you don't have to pay for it. please vote for me as your local mp in the next general election.
some QRTs from the original thread which is of course also worth a read. the Chinese movement 6B4T is frequently subject to censorship online.
I hate how a woman's pride and love for her anatomy has been reduced to something political and "terfy". I remember being 17 in an advanced art class that just happened to be all girls and making vulva pendants necklaces with each other, and I doubt any of us had any inkling of what radical feminism was or what trans exclusionary actually meant.
In a world dominated by phallocentrism and only sexualized depictions of the female form, it's important for young women to learn to love her body without having to sexualize, commodify or objectify it. Let us love our body with only pure love, and let us show that love through art, without demonizing us for it.

In the same way that ending slavery didn't have to be good for Whites, ending the Holocaust didn't have to be good for gentiles/people not in concentration camps, legalizing gay marriage didn't have to be good for straights, etc., feminism and women's rights don't have to be good for males in order to be legitimate.

“i wish i could go out braless but-“ “i wish i didn’t have to shave but-“ “i wish i didn’t have to wear makeup but-“ STAND UPPPP FUCKING STAND UP JUST DO WHAT YOU WANT. NOBODY IS GOING TO SHOOT YOU OR ARREST YOU FOR BEING A LITTLE “UGLY” UOU WILL LIVE AND REALIZE THAT YOUVE BEEN IN A prison largely of your own making THIS WHOLE TIME
Something I noticed when I was stripping was that the younger, “hipper,” generally white patrons I came into contact with were by far the most vested in the whole “emotionally invasive performance of enthusiastic consent” thing. They all wanted to hear how I was doing it because I was “empowered” or an “exhibitionist” or just “a slutty sexual deviant that just does this for fun.” Like, I can’t even tell you how many times I actively encouraged this or worked it into a spiel, because nothing kills a sale like a pang of conscience alerting men that maybe this smart, seemingly stable girl doesn’t want to be here. I think that thinking I was “into it” somehow made it easier for them to feel like they weren’t just giant losers paying for sex.
I am entirely convinced that men only care about women being “empowered” by things like sex work because its easier on their ego as consumers, not because they give a shit about our wellbeing. Sex positive feminism is a dream come true for these men - all the benefits of exploiting women as sexual commodities without any guilt or stigma for being a creepy ass john.
If you Google "India rape news" these are the top articles that show up (they're all from today btw). And these are just the reported cases.
According to a report, 99% of sexual assault cases against Indian women go unreported.
Indian women are subjected to the worst kind of abuse by men. Misogyny is so deeply rooted here that honestly, I don’t think there’s any hope for us.
And the truth is, nothing we do matters. I could read all the feminist literature in the world, I could make endless lists of everything that’s wrong with this country, I could create space for women online and offline - but men would still continue to hurt us.
And my main issue is with men. Especially with the ones who understand exactly what’s wrong and still choose silence. The ones who laugh off their friends' remarks towards women, ignore how their fathers treat their mothers, and think they’re somehow better just because they’ve “never abused a woman.”
Their silence is our abuse. Their refusal to speak is our abuse.
And then there are women who’ve internalised misogyny so deeply, they defend and uphold the very systems that destroy us. That’s our abuse too.
And as a woman who doesn’t have the privilege to leave this country, I will continue to bear this abuse because I have no choice.

One person was banned almost immediately.
The other person was not banned until they made another post revealing that they were posting videos of their partner.
One person was harassed and bullied and told that they were lying.
One person was given advice, told about how they could improve their situation.
This is why kink is not safe. There is more compassion and kindness for someone who admits to wanting to kick their partner in the face than there is for someone who has received that treatment.
