"A man just killed himself, he was lonely because no woman wanted to have sex with him and be his slave"
"...who want nothing from you..."
But, they want everything from you. They want unrestricted unquestioned access to exclusive female & gay male spaces... they want to control how others refer to & perceive them... they want complete commodification of the language on how we talk about biological sex... and they want silence, punishment, & ostracisation for those who disagree with them in any capacity.
Of course we can empathise with the trans struggle & be respectful of medial things like an individual's pronouns & making sure all people have a seat at the metaphorical table, but when we're called "transphobic" or "fascist" for saying biological sex is real, women face sex-based oppression, and that lesbians & gay men aren't interested in the opposite sex, my respect has its limits. You will not run around screaming transphobia while being misogynistic & homophobic at the same time.
Pedro claimed full intellectual bankruptcy with this quote.
”I never see you in the club” I never see you having violent meltdowns alone in your room and hitting yourself but ok
"Research... tells us over and over that when men kill their female partners or ex-partners, it usually follows months or years of abusing her. On the other hand, when women kill their husbands or exes, it's usually after months or years of having been abused by the man they have killed." - Kerry Daynes, The Dark Side of the Mind
this website’s attitude toward gender non-conforming children and its universal insistence that boys who wear skirts aren’t really boys and girls who like short hair and non-feminine colors aren’t really girls is SO primitive and harmful.
how is ~othering~ children who don’t meet your performance standards for their sex NOT reinforcing oppressive patriarchal gender roles and expectations?
we used to have conversations about whether rape jokes were okay and now leftist men are like ummm of course they're okay. dark humor is how i cope with the patriarchy. real feminists agree with me. btw you're a cunt.
I actually fucking hate it here, when will women wake the fuck up.
“I’m not a boy, therefore I need to wear makeup!” This is sooo progress 😍 gender ideology isn’t misogynistic at all!
“Thank you mom for that inner beauty talk that still has me googling makeup advice” this one is so heartbreaking because even if a mother tries to raise a daughter to be critical of beauty industry/fitting the standards of beauty in general, she still faces the whole pressure of the world
Women have the most freedom now more than ever, and therefore the beauty standards have been lifted to the point of skyrocketing makeup and plastic surgery sales in order to “keep them in their place”. It’s normalized to make fun of women for not performing makeup or femininity correctly, if you criticize this industry you’re “not a girls girl” and called ugly, gross, and unhygienic for not shaving or wearing makeup. It’s enforced by women as well as our capitalistic system and patriarchy.
I truly cannot see how anyone can argue that makeup is “just for fun” with comments like this being so common by women. Makeup and beauty isn’t for “fun”, it’s driven by patriarchy in an effort to keep woman in a self-created panopticon where they constantly criticize themselves.
I should have made it clear that my questions were largely rhetorical and I wasn’t really seeking out an answer. It’s silly to add disclaimers to your posts because someone might assume that you agree with every single thing the person you’re reblogging believes. It’s silly to care if someone interacts with you “under false pretenses of your identity”. Just put male in your bio.
I understood the point you were making about allies, but I’ll read the article you linked regardless.
My inclusion of the trans issue is very relevant. You cannot claim to combat misogyny when you uplift men from a misogynistic movement and put their entitlement above the safety and rights of women who simply do not want them in our single sex spaces. And sure, men “can” fight against misogyny, but what would that look like? I don’t think ever I’ve seen a man genuinely fight for women’s liberation.
I’m so tired of seeing women defending men. Not angry, not frustrated (okay maybe a little) but tired.
Cuz I used to be the “not all men” type, then I realised, how many men do the same for us? Sexism is ingrained in meme culture: girls like titantic, boys like cool thing; women ☕️ amiright?; I-hate-my-wife culture; FEMINIST KAREN DESTROYED 🔥🔥BY SIGMA LOGIC; Uhh actually 🤓 being kicked in the balls hurts more than child birth.
THE EXISTENCE OF ANDREW TATE.
But as soon as women go “yeah I’d pick the bear 🐻” they lose their minds. How dare they prefer to be torn apart by a bear than encounter a man! Should we use this as a way to reflect on our behaviour as a sex and WHY they think this way? Nah, let’s describe the brutal ways in which we’d like them to be killed by said bear and joke about how we’d sit and watch.
People misunderstand: men like *sex* but they do not like women hence why they’re advocating for sexbots and ai companions. Unlike women, men would not defend you in an argument out of the purity of his heart.
anti-radfems fighting the radfems that say women are inherently feminine and men are naturally abusive towards women (they don't exist they're fighting the air)
when people say that women in the entertainment industry who are sexualised are expressing their own sexuality, i often think of these youtube videos that came out when i was a teenager from the buzzfeed try guys of all people
in the first one, they get styled and photoshopped the way male celebrities do, and in the second they are styled, posed and photoshopped like female celebrities
their comments are surprisingly insightful
"there was nothing human about that, i was just an object"
"in an effort to photoshop you more to female standards, your look has gone from 'i will either murder or fuck you' to 'wont you please come fuck me?'"
when women are styled this way, they aren't expressing their own desire, they're embodying cultural stereotypes that say women don't have their own sexuality, they are objects for men to project their own sexuality onto. and when male sexuality is caught up in ideas of dominance and conquest, performing for the male gaze becomes consistently degrading
a man will hold a gun to your head and be like “if men and women are so equal why am i holding a gun to your head 😂”
