I’ve talked about it before, but when I was in my dv survivors group, I had male cofacilitators that led or helped lead the group. I’m sure these men believed they had good intentions. But their actions and their presence had the same result as any other male in female space. It stunted discussions, stunted growth and stunted solidarity. I lost count of how many of us would talk more before and after group than during. So I’m sorry, but I don’t care what a males intentions are or what their thought process is. This is actually still entitlement and males don’t belong in female spaces
