Iām temporarily moving to our summer house which in a small city. It gets quite full in the summer but not until July! I want to take advantage of June and create a good morning routine that will motivate me for the rest of the summer and even year. Do you have any ideas or even an example of how would you spend your day in a setting like this? Iād love to take it as a challenge (as an inspo first) and make the most out of my mornings there. Thereās a lovely cafe there Iām dreaming about that Iād love to go and work thereā¦.
Really hope this makes sense but Iām so excited but I also feel like Iām not motivated enough to keep up with it š

creating a routine from scratch and getting used to it is a big challenge, little by little you have to make small changes in your day until you get the perfect routine
start getting up earlier, ideally at 8 o'clock but it depends on the things you do in your day and how you organize yourself if you do not usually get up early, try to get up an hour earlier than you usually do and plan the night before everything you have to do in the day to feel motivated
incorporate exercise into your routine, you can do it at home if you feel more comfortable or outdoors It is a good idea to do it when you wake up, you can try pilates or yoga exercises find things to do in your city and add them to your routine, you can go for a walk around the city or even go for a jog find beautiful places that inspire peace and tranquility to do these outdoor activities
take an intensive course or learn something, during the summer we usually have more free time, you can dedicate this part of your time to nurture your knowledge. you can look for a course in your new city on something you would like to learn or learn something on your own, i usually dedicate to this 1 hour or hour and a half in the mornings
example of routine getting up early, making your bed every morning, letting light into your room, being aware of the present moment and being grateful for today, reviewing your to-do list and getting going, self-care (shower with warm water, skincare, brushing your teethā¦) exercise or walking (you can vary the days you do this) study or dedicate time to an activity or work
it is important that you have clear the things you want to do in the morning, if you have nothing to do there is no routine, so you have to establish it yourself and i don't know what your routine is exactly to suggest changes or better ones, if you want to keep sharing what exactly you would like so i can advise you better, perfect š¤
the greatest motivation you can have is that every day you are getting better and better

I use music in my own magical practiceĀ so much, and I figured Iād talk about it, because maybe it might inspire a few other practitioners:
Random shuffle makes a fine form of divination.
Sometimes I just randomly find myself singing lyrics for Seemingly No Reason. Then I stop and ask myself,Ā āoh, hey, why am I singing this in particular?ā Thereās often something rattling around in my subconscious/intuition.
It works great for sound cleansing.
Music comes in allĀ kinds of, for lack of better term,Ā āenergetic profiles.ā For example, need an infusion of fire energy? Find some music that feelsĀ āfiery.ā
It can also help get you into a magical mindset.
Sing lyrics with magical power behindĀ āem, and youāve got yourself an incantation.

Iāve been astral projecting for a long time now, and I do it at least 4 times a week, probably more. I think I have a problem. Anyway. Here are a few tips on what to do, what not to do, etc for all yaāll trying to get into astral travel. A few of the things have links for places to find more information, ideas, and stuff.
1. Youāre Captain America- get yoself a shield. I use 2 shields when I project, both protective spirals. Basically, when youāre projecting your body is left unprotected by your spirit so you need something else to protect you. Use any shield you like. I use one that protects my body from anything harmful (visualised as rose petals swirling around me- it just seemed right) and another that repels anything harmful away from me (visualised as bright lights, almost painful to look at). Sometimes, when I get bad vibes, Iāll use more and more until I feel safe. LAYER LAYER LAYER. A shield can only do one thing at a time, so if you want multiple protective actions then use more than one. Youāll know when youāve got enough, as when you try to project youāll feel safer.
2. Failure is ok. Honestly, I couldnāt project last night. It was hard and my brain just couldnāt get the focus and I couldnāt visualise anything. It just didnāt work, and thatās ok. Sometimes itāll be too much for you, donāt force anything or beat yourself up over it. Stop what youāre doing, stretch your muscles and try again later. I usually wait at least until the next night (I always project at night) when Iāve found something a little too difficult. It gives me time to rest and to do some grounding.Ā
3. Youāre going into Narnia. What does that mean??- imagine a door! I spent a long time trying and trying to project into the astral realm until I realised that I simply had to open a door!! When I project, I visualise a white void full of different doors to different places on the astral realm, I walk around and find my own door or draw it to me. I turn the handle, walk through and BOOM astral realm. This can take a while and itās hard at first, when I first tried this method I found the door, put my hand on the handle and got thrown out back into my body again. Take your time, practice and youāll get there.Ā
4. FFS DONāT GET LOST. When you first manage to get through the door, donāt go too far. Take your time exploring whatās around you, and anyway, itās more fun to find every little thing thatās in the astral than just barrelling through at 100000mph and missing it. I found one of my spirit companions, A, while slowly going through this tiny patch of forest that exists in my plane. If you do go a little far, which I have done before, I looked at my wrist and found a red string wrapped around it. I followed the string back to the door. Simple.
5. Block out everything. I use white noise of a thunder storm for this, but anything will do. ā8 Hours ofā is a good youtube channel with lots of different options for white noise. Donāt astral project for the 8 hours, but the sounds are awesome and thereās no ads thatāll interupt you.Ā
6. Find a mirror. Not because youāre the bloody evil queen in Snow White, but because youāll want to know what youāre astral form looks like. Go searching, use your mindāsĀ āeyeā and listen for it, youāll know where it is. Stand in front of it and look. Donāt be afraid of what you see, your astral form might be quite different from your physical one. As someone whoās agender, my astral form is completely androgynous, but also has giant horns and 6 ENORMOUS black wings that can wrap around me and form some sort of cloak-dress-robe-thing. Yuup, it was a surprise. Just accept that this is your form, and as itās based on your spirit, youāll probably like it no matter what.
7. Have any deities?? You might meet them here. I worship the gaelic goddess Brighid, as well as Persephone and Hades and Iāve met them when astral projecting a few times. You can spend time with them in the astral, get to know them and even give them offerings. There is a huge area of my astral plane that is completely dead- like Pride Rock under Scar dead- and Iām currently trying to regrow it. Iāve so far grown a huge oak tree in the centre and made a pasture for Brighid as she likes to keep cattle. Hades, for some reason, wants a massive waterfall and Persephone just wants flowers- which Iāll be doing for them soon. Iāve also seen Mac Lir and Poseidon walking together off on the horizon of the ocean. I just let them do their thing.Ā
8. Donāt upset Brendon Urie- CLOSE THE GODDAMN DOOR! You enter the astral through a door, close it behind you so that nothing gets out. When you leave, close the door extra carefully, donāt look back at it as you walk away. Close it and then leave.Ā
9. Be careful when youāre out. When you re-enter your body it may feel weird, you might get pins-and-needles or your limbs may feel heavy or numb. Just sit or lay there for a while, give yourself time to ground and get comfortable in your body again, donāt sit up or start walking about the moment you leave the astral. Let your shields come down ONLY when youāre certain youāve completely re-entered your body. Stretch a little and then get up. Go about your day, have a nap, go to bed, whatever you want to do.Ā

Nourishing self with healthy foods etc, cleaning, shopping, managing resources, creating, nature, time management, money, work, exercises, pampering, sleep, wellness, self-care, art, rest, checking in with body and what it truly desires, physical props and reminders to highlight desires, indulging in beauty, abundant and luxurious experiences
Fire
Travelling, exercise, movement,Ā life planning, developing confidence, doing, taking action, using energy, assertiveness, boldness and courage, clear definitive goals, parties, enjoying life, days out, sensuality, passion projects, feeding on what you enjoy and desire, seeing your desires and dreams in action/real life to see if its really what you desire
