Give Me Money! Sun Tea
Ingredients
Sun tea for promoting financial wealth and abundance.
Mint ice cubes (optional, freeze whole mint leaves into ice)
1 part Mint
1 part Chamomile
½ part Basil
Place your herbs in a jar and then steep in the sun. Add sweetener if desired and strain when you are ready to enjoy! Garnish with lemon.
Steep some dandelion and lemongrass for some psychic energy!
Ingredients:
1 part Lemongrass
1 part Dandelion flowers
Pineapple juice
Follow the same basic steps for making a sun tea with lemongrass and dandelion flowers. Chill the tea and then add ½ part pineapple juice and garnish with pineapple.
Approx 5 lemon balm tea ice cubes ( if you can’t find this, sub basil)*
1.5 cups frozen Strawberry
2 cups watermelon
1 frozen banana (more banana =thicker smoothie)
Sweetener, if desired, I personally used 3 small packs of stevia in the raw
*Lemon balm notes:If you have a super fancy blender that will totally blend the lemon balm then you can add a few leaves in with everything else. You could also make lemon balm tea and freeze them into ice cubes for your smoothie.
Add all ingredients to blender and sweeten to taste. Enjoy! You could probably make some yummy popsicles if you mix the smoothie with some coconut milk yogurt.
Hibiscus flowers (check international markets to buy local)
Cherry juice
Orange slices
Make sun tea with hibiscus. You will know its ready when you have a beautiful deep red color! You could just drink the hibiscus plain, or follow the next steps.
Chill the hibiscus tea
Add cherry juice! Use a 2:1 ratio of hibiscus tea to cherry juice, or 2 parts hibiscus to 1 part cherry. You don’t have to follow this ratio exactly!
Garnish with orange slices
Safety considerations: The herbs in this post (basil, lemonbalm, lemongrass, dandelion, and chamomile are all pretty safe food-grade herbs when used in small, reasonable amounts. Hibiscus is generally safe as well, but avoid it if you are on HRT or pregnant, or with high or low blood pressure. As always consult with your doctor before consuming any herbal medicines.
I wondering if I should do a season of love this February and an anscetry appreciation in honor of black history month? I want to do something for the month of February, since during this troubling time and I feel like we need to have some love and dedication. Just need to plan it out...
1. stop humbling yourself - when people tell you to “humble yourself” they are basically telling you to shrink your power, your voice and your self expression. don't hold yourself back and suppress your desires. you are deserving of the best.
2. use your insecurities - everyone has insecurities, even successful people but instead of letting insecurities hinder them, they embrace their qualities and learn to improve upon them. your diffracting qualities is another way you shine amongst others and is your gift. use it!
3. stop caring what others say - never let people's words and judgements affect you. someone else’s opinion has nothing to do with you. matter of fact in 5 years time is there opinion really going to matter once you've reached your highest potential?
4. stay focused on creating the life you want - instead of being caught up in everyone else and the latest gossip, set goals towards your dreams and focus on you. keep your eyes on the prize and keep improving your life. maintain your health, looks and wellbeing. you are more than capable to achieving your goals, so persist and believe in yourself.

I’m sure there are other blogs but these were the ones on my personal block list. But if you’re in the cottagecore community and you don’t understand why people are unnerved by the aesthetic just look at the blogs here. It’s a hotbed of racism and nazism under the guise of a simple life.
RIP my mental health
I absolutely love this recipe! The bread is soft, and is perfect for sandwiches, French toast, and pretty much everything you can think of. I don’t want to buy bread from the store ever again!
6 Cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ Cups very warm water
2 Tbsp. Active dry yeast
2 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Butter
Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar and let sit until the surface is foamy (If it’s doesn’t foam, the yeast doesn’t work).
When yeast is activated, add 3 cups of the flour, the salt, and the butter. Mix until thoroughly combined, about 2 minutes.
Once mixture is smooth, add the remaining 3 cups of flour. I recommend folding the flour in until fairly combined before kneading.
Once combined, knead dough for 6-8 minutes in a stand mixer, or 8-10 minutes by hand.
Form dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap or a cloth, and let rise for 45 minutes.
Cut dough into 2-3 equal pieces and place into a buttered bread pan, and brush melted butter (or olive oil). Allow to rise in the loaf pans for an additional 10-15 minutes. (🍞 Tip: Use a small knife to make a slit longways across the bread to prevent splitting along the side of the bread.)
Bake bread in a 375°F oven for 30 minutes uncovered, and and additional 10 minutes covered in foil to prevent excess browning.
Makes 2-3 loaves of bread.

I just want to remind everyone how affordable buying food from indigenous tribes is. I live in a major city and I was able to purchase and ship (15) pounds of fish from back home to myself for cheaper than I could buy it from a grocery store here in the city. Yeah, shipping has its own environmental factors but I was able to support an indigenous owned business while also getting my groceries at a lesser cost. (Buying in bulk is always a good idea if you’re planning on having something shipped to you)
Some tribal owned grocers that ship:
Bow and Arrow (Ute Mountain)
Native Harvest (White Earth)
Red Lake Fishery (Red Lake)
Wozupi (Mdewakanton Dakota)
Ramona Farms (Gila River)
Tanka Bars (Oglala)
Indian Pueblo Store (Pueblos)
Twisted Cedar Wine (Cedar Paiutes)
Ute Bison (Ute)
Seka Hills Olive Oil and Vinegars (Yocha Dehe Wintun)
She Nah Nam Seafood (Nisqually)
Sakari Botanicals (Inupiaq)
Honor the Earth (?)
Nett Lake Wild Rice (Anishinaabe)
Passamaquoddy maple (Passamaquoddy)
BONUS: coffee :)
Yeego Coffee (Navajo)
Spirit Mountain Roasting (Yuma Quechan)
Birchbark Coffee (Anishinaabe)
Thunder Island Coffee (Shinnecock)

This is a classic dish, some of you may better know as Labskovs but there's heaps of variations of it! It's a winter favorite for me and always cook tons of it; it's better shared and honestly is one of those recipes that's always better the next day! 🤎 It can be easily adjusted to whatever leftovers you have around(meat, veggies, portions, etc.). For my own practice, I often take the act of making it and make that an offering to Hel and when the stew is done it's an offer to Loki's family, landvættir, and make it a community meal. Do what you please with it and I do hope you enjoy my take on the recipe, please share any photos if you make it!
5lbs of potatoes - russet is preferred, anything that's flowery
2lbs of chuck steak
4 1/2 cups of water
1 large onion or 1 1/2 medium sized ones
1lbs of baby bellas sliced(I often change this out with whatever we have leftover, sometimes carrots, leeks, or cabbage)
6 bay leaves
5 thyme sprigs or 3/4 tsp of dried thyme
whole garlic clove
4tbsp of butter
2tbsp of pepper
1tbsp of coarse salt
a dutch oven or large sauce pan
To garnish:
6tbsp of chopped chives
Sauerkraut or pickled beets
loaf of bread on the side - we tend to favor potato or rye
Heat 2tbsp of the butter in your pan at medium heat. While the pan is warming cut the steak into one inch cubes.
Add the steak to the butter and and brown slightly. Then immediately add the water and gradually bring the water to a boil. [Skim all the froth off the service].
Add the onions, mushrooms, whatever vegetables you chose, bay, thyme, cloves, pepper + salt into the pot. Let it simmer for an hour.[Do not let it boil!]
While the stew is simmering, cut(and peel if you want) your potatoes into 1inch cubes. Add them to the pot and let it simmer for another hour or until the meat falls apart easily and is tender.
Drain off the excess water and add the remaining butter to the pot. Stir clockwise until mixed and mashed, but keep the potatoes a little lumpy.
Serve with your garnishes and enjoy! Let it cool before storing in the fridge.

garlic - courage + strength, healing, spell breaking + shielding
pepper - banishing negativity + cleansing(I like to use intent for the hearth because the whole home is smelling like stew in the end), protection
salt - security + protection, healing, purifying
thyme - good fortune + health, courage, happiness, healing
