You had, like most people, caught an addiction to tiktok over the last year, being stuck at home with really nothing to do being the reason. you and harry had done many tiktoks, not posting any, the only videos you posted were of yourself as you both hadn’t wanted to tell anyone you had been in a relationship. you’ve been together 3 years and nobody, besides close friends and family know. it’s been a great 3 years.

Although, one fine day, you were sat on the couch scrolling through your for you page, harry’s head in your lap as you played with his grown out hair. you both were content. then, you came upon a video of a girl and boy - a couple - doing a trend with the sound “bitches come and go, bruh. bet you know i stay-“ and keeping their lips touching the whole time, widening their mouth and eyes when the ‘bruh’ part came and then kissing at the end.

you sighed. you wished you could post videos like this with harry, but he didn’t want to release your relationship.

said man looked up at you, with a concerned look in his eyes, “what is it?” he had asked, wanting to find out what was bothering you so. “nothing, just a video.” you spoke, going to scroll, until he snatched your phone and watched the video. “oh, do you want to like, do the video or something?” he questioned tenderly, sitting up straight and looking at you.

“yes and no. i just- why can’t we-…nothing it’s fine, we can just make the video and put it in my drafts. as always.” anger and sadness we’re mixed into your tone, anger because harry had the audacity to snatch your phone, and sadness because you didn’t know how to express your feelings. “baby, tell me..there’s something running through that amazing mind and i need to know what it is.” he spoke softly, smiling at you while slightly tapping your head.

you sighed, but decided to answer, “i want-….i want our relationship to be public. i want to show you off to the world like every other person gets to show off their partner. why don’t i get that privilege?.” small tears were in your eyes. “you can! i’ve been meaning to tell you i want to do the same thing! i want to be able to hold your hand, or hold your waist. i want to be able to hug you in front of people. i want to openly love you. i was just waiting for the right time, m’love.” he said, putting both hands on either side of your face. you smiled at him, leaning in slightly to kiss him, then pulling away. “so..can we do the video and have that as the announcement?” you whispered, and he laughed “sure, m’love”

you grabbed your phone, opening the sound and putting it up beside harry and you, where both your faces were in the camera. you started recording and you both mouthed the lyrics, all while your lips never stopped touching. when it got to the bruh part, you did what was supposed to happen, smiling wildly. kissing him softly at end and then pulling away to smile at him.

you put your arms around his shoulders, his face in your shoulder, and leaned back. you held up your phone and started writing a text for the video. “when you’ve been in a three year relationship with one of the most famous people in the world, but nobody knows.” the caption had read. you both smiled at it, then you posted it.

after about 30 minutes your phone started buzzing, comments and likes coming to the video, even a lot from twitter and instagram.
