the ada has to shut off the lights on their christmas tree in the office during working hours because atsushi will just stare at it for ages if they don't

The agency is on a mission and don't notice that Atsushi stopped walking to stare down an alley with his ears and tail out and slowly wagging. He ends up stalking a raccoon and pouncing in it. They're all disgusted when he brings it to them and tries to give it to Dazai, who's just amused by catsushi.

atsushi: *slow blink*

akutagawa, confused, looking around: ?????????

atsushi:

atsushi, grinning and hugging him:

almost the 27th. almost time for red in tooth & claw to update. the hype is real.

i like to think that Atsushi can faintly smell people coming,

he can smell some green tea whenever Kyoka walks by, the sickly sweet candy smell Ranpo reeks of whenever he pops out of nowhere, and sometimes even a faint smell of white lillies of Dazai every now and then

with that being said, he can easily recognise smells he deems safe (safe being the agency) and smells that make him more alert, so he doesn't get jumpscared when an enemy suprises him, but could jump 40ft into the air if Kenji walks up behind him

let the tiger also be a part of the agency dammit

I read that cats (including tigers) take slower blinks/close their eyes longer around people they trust. I dunno I was just thinking it'd be really funny if Atsushi started taking some slow ass blinks around Akutagawa and he was like "Did he sleep enough??" the whole time.

thought this as i was getting ready to sleep last night

atsushi who starts getting super clingy -- all hugs and cuddles, more than normal

atsushi rubbing his cheek against his friends'

atsushi giving his sweaters to his friends, or gloves or scarves or other such things

atsushi taking their clothes and wearing them and giving them back

the ada confused as hell, finally going to ranpo like "is atsushi dying???"

and ranpo is like "isn't it obvious"

and the ada is like "no" unaware that atsushi is scratching/sharpening his nails at the entrance

and ranpo is like "its the time of year we get a lot of cats in the neighborhood. he's marking his territory"

fukuzawa is delighted at being shown affection by his cat son but heartbroken that his cat son is trying to make sure no other cat comes

everyone else is mostly just amused
