When Sylvia Plath wrote "I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited."
it is august / it is soft and it is warm / the heat clings to your bones / like a kiss / like a dream / you are beside me / and suddenly these moments last for centuries / and we are etched into the stars / sunlight filters through the window / the night is velvet / the morning is silken / and once again / august / is all about loving / when the sky is all that’s left
I think somehow it feels natural to assume crowley tried to kiss or kissed aziraphale in 1941 and was shot down because it would endanger both their lives but what if. I mean what if it was aziraphale who made the first move what if it was crowley who had to break his own heart and aziraphale’s by turning him down
I had a great time today (I don’t want to go into the darkness alone.) you make me so happy (darling, the light is fading.) I’m going to love you forever and ever (I’m scared my forever can’t be much longer, love.) I’ll see you in the morning (there is a heaviness in my heart that will not quiet. I am fearing the sunrise will not come.) you make me so smile so much (you deserve better and I’m still sorry I couldn’t give it) I’ll do my best to take care of myself (my best is hiding from the darkness. my best is looking up wearily at the approaching night.) I’m tired (of breathing) I’ll see you (for that I can live) I love you (the poets spoke of the sun but I know only your smile.)

“The world will ask you who you are, and if you don’t know, the world will tell you.”
— Carl Gustav Jung
“I think too deeply about everything. I still don’t know if that allows me to see more of the world, or less of it.”
— Mobeen Hakeem
“I have never known who or what I am supposed to be. The only thing I know for sure, is that I am supposed to be more than I have been.”
— William Chapman
