So true.
Sooo..I heard you wanted…..ship starter packs ;0
Anyways! I’m glad y'all wanted to see these. Pls don’t cause drama smol fetus children. I’m not up for dealing with that
reblog if you’ve read fanfictions that are more professional, better written than some actual novels. I’m trying to see something
“average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
Full and finished short-story of the black cat. Please have a heart for black pets in general, animals do not deserve this kind of hostility. Please give credit when reposting, Thank you :)
This is so true. Monoma is a precious Boy. He doesn't deserve hate.
This kid has so much fucking potential both hero wise and as a character (which was unfortunately cut. I’ll get to that)
I’ve been seeing a lot of hate for this kid recently and it’s got me all sorts of bummed out especially because its when I go through his tag.
Don’t tag your character hate thanks
He’s more than the comedic relief he’s been reduced to after his first appearance. Horikoshi mentioned he intended to do more things with him but due to his dislike amongst japanese fans (because he angered Bakugou, a fan favorite) he was quickly cut down into what we see him as now.
But ignoring that alone because people can argue others have pissed off Bakugou, as it is not hard to do, let’s look at the canon information we have about him. Monoma is competitive against class A. This tends to be where people’s hate from him comes from.
His competitiveness comes from class B being equal to class A. Even the fandom seems to forget this at times. There is no difference between the two classes. His impression of class A comes from what Tetsu has said about them and Bakugou’s little “I’ll win” from the beginning of the sports festival arc. It’s easy to see where he’s picked up these ideas about what Class A is.
Back to Class A and B being equal though.
It’s just a number of kids thing. 40 kids got into the hero course. 20 go into each class. They randomized the 20 that went into what class. If you look at the entrance exam results there is class B kids in the top 10.
Thats Ibara, Kendou, Tetsu, and Awase all in the top ten.
His plan in the sports festival? An amazing one if you think about it.
Stay back just enough to stay in the games while assessing your opponents. He was figuring out all of their quirks. He has a 5/5 for technique. This plan had been thought out since before they even stepped foot into the arena and he got quite a bit of his class in on it. And yes, he’s antagonistic, but so is Bakugou and everyone loves this kid. (That’s not to say I do not like Bakugou so please don’t think this is me bashing him I am simply making points.)
Not only is he a 5/5 on technique though, he’s also a 5/5 on intelligence. This kid is a genius. He really is. During the Bakugou and Ochako a vast majority of the pros are seen booing and insulting how Bakugou is going about the fight. Monoma (and Aizawa) sees what is actually happening though.
He saw through her plan.
And yes he said pros should be ashamed in themselves, but Aizawa straight up told the pros to quit their jobs.
Monoma canonically has an inferiority complex. Of course this isn’t a pass for being an ass, but it does make it somewhat understandable in this particular situation. Bakugou also has an inferiority complex and is an ass to people because of it, and once again he is a fan favorite. These characters have parallels even if one isn’t as extreme as the other. Monoma is fighting to prove to how great he and his class are through this entire arc where he’s shown. He wants the recognition they all, quite frankly, really deserve. They’re an amazing group of students. And it’s safe to assume that even if he is a problem child in the class, they still see him as a friend. He makes sure that Tetsu knows what he’s doing isn’t personal
Also here’s just a cute picture of Monoma loving his teacher
He’s so good. So so good and I wish people would appreciate him as much as I do.
It’s so sad whats happened to his character. Hopefully something more comes from him in the long run, but at least he wasn’t completely cut away from the series. Horikoshi said it himself that he never wanted Monoma to be so hated.
He just wanted to get Class B seen in a good light by the pros who were ignoring them in favor of a class who is completely equal to them in every way aside from one class having the main characters in it.

A sort-of sequel to this
“That character can’t be trans, because ____”
“They have a higher/lower pitched voice!” Voice pitch doesn’t indicate gender. Some boys/men have higher pitched voices and some women have lower pitched voices, whether or not they’re trans. Trans people, usually adults, can also go through vocal training to make their voices higher/lower. Another thing to consider is that for younger characters, all voices are pretty high pitched. Young boys can often sing soprano in choirs and there’s a reason young cartoon boys are often voiced by teenage girls.
“We’ve seen them shirtless/in a bra!” Shirtless trans boys: If they are younger, puberty might not have kicked in yet, so they have a flat chest. For older boys who would have gone through/are going through puberty, they could just have small breasts, took/are taking puberty blockers, or are taking T. Any boy who is 18+ may have gotten top surgery. Trans girls with bras: This mostly applies to teenage/adult characters. They could be wearing a water bra/stuffed a bra/bra with padding. Again, they could also be taking hormones or have had top surgery done.
“They’re too young/too old to be trans!” You are never the wrong age to realize you’re trans. Young kids can know as soon as they are developed enough to actually think/process things. For older people, they might have not realized what they were feeling was something significant/not just a random thought or that it is okay to be trans until recently. It could also be that they transitioned some time before, maybe when they were young, maybe not. This is a really weak argument.
“The creator said they weren’t trans!” It really doesn’t matter. If the creator of a show says they’re not trans then they aren’t trans in canon, but that won’t stop us from imagining these characters as trans. Part of being in a fandom is recreating the characters and showing them to others in a new light, that might not be canon, but honestly who cares? A lot of artists and writers can show our favorite characters as trans in a good/cool way while not making that the whole idea of the work. As long as the original traits of the character aren’t lost, it’s fantastic. Getting upset for this reason is like getting upset because someone colored a person’s hair the wrong shade of brown.
“I don’t want my favorite characters to be trans!” Congrats, you’re transphobic. I’d also like to point out that just because you don’t really agree with/can’t see a character being trans doesn’t really make you transphobic. In fact, I even have trouble seeing some characters as trans. But if it makes you cry cis tears/makes you mad to see trans people have fun/don’t like the idea of rubbing our little trans hands all over it, you are transphobic.
Any other bullshit reason I don’t give a shit, any character can be trans and we don’t need reasoning to think that.
Also take into consideration characters who haven’t realized their trans/haven’t come out yet and don’t present as their actual gender
I have no idea how to breathe after making this
