i keep thinking about how when JC catches up to WWX, LWJ, and NHS at the Tiannu goddess statue cave, he plays a joke to scare them by standing behind the statue and pretending to be the statue talking to them

and then walks out from behind the statue looking slightly embarrassed but also a bit satisfied with himself and also clearly thinking "WWX why didn't you tell me where you were going why did you leave me behind :(" and also "we're going to get in trouble back home why are you like this *eyeroll*" and also "i'm so glad you're safe"

they were once so young...they fooled around and played jokes on each other and were more open to each other like the kids they were...
