Writing a novel when you imagine all you stories in film format is hard because there’s really no written equivalent of “lens flare” or “slow motion montage backed by Gregorian choir”

a MASSIVE collection of ghoul designs I’ve been making over the past few days…

(additionally my omega and cumulus designs were already shown in this post, so that’s why they’re missing here)

Hai I wanna explain how my ideas on the designs work here for a moment…

Quint ghouls: they often have 2 pairs of curled horns , with a lot more deep purples and blues. They are one of the ghoul types with more hair. + they usually have much longer canines making them have fangs visible even when their mouths are closed. Additionally they wear gold accessories often !

Water ghouls: they often resemble fish, with gills and fin ears. Their horns usually curve before straightening out again and curving again at the ends. They are often greens and blues, and have two sets of yellow eyes.

Earth ghouls: they often resemble goats or sheep, these ghouls tend to have shades of brown or green with them and their horns tend to be unique in shape or heavily resemble those of goats and sheep.

Air ghouls: they often have fluffier hair and short hair on their shoulders that resemble clouds. The hair on their faces and their horns tend to be lighter shades.

Fire ghouls: these tend to be the ones with the most hair, with hair sometimes covering most of their upper body. Much like quint ghouls fire ghouls have two sets of horns, however these horns are almost always dark colours. They additionally have darker eyes with bright irises and their hair can have brighter accents.

Transitioned ghouls: ghouls who transition from one element to another often keep most of their original features, but often gain new features that correspond to their new element, whether this be new horn sets, new hair colours, and new eye colours

Multi ghouls / misc ghouls: these ghouls can often resemble ghouls from other elements but don’t actually belong to the element itself.

In other news I hc that cirrus transitioned from being an earth ghoul to an air ghoul btw <3 for silly reasons 👍

Liking character is fun until you think about them and you just have to stare at nothing for a few minutes because of how tragic

It’s a head canon, but feel like Yautja would LOVE WWF and RAW. They’d get so into it, sometimes getting drunk with their hunt siblings and placing bets on who would beat their favorite the fastest.

I think Wolf would really like Stone Cold Steven Austin. He enjoys watching the old sketches, especially the one where he basically assaults his rival Booker T in a grocery store. He approves of the creative ways Stone Cold comes up with to throw around his opponent.

Scar would like Roman Reigns. He admires the warrior aesthetic Roman has. He longs to beat him thinking that he’s a real warrior and would be a worthy trophy.

Feral would like The Undertaker. He’s down with the vibes of showing up with his enemies coffin ready to go and appearing like he’s about to fuck shit up. When he hears the entrance gong he’s ready to watch the carnage. He likes how he presents himself.

ghost fandom what are your highly specific ghoul headcanons that have no basis in anything.

mine is that Rain cheats in every single board game he has ever played

thinking about the fact that amanda steals adam's boots when she puts him in the bathroom, they're probably the same size, does she wear them?? does she stomp around in a dead man's shoes?? does lawrence ever look at them, and remark that they look so big on her?? does she snarl at him and hopes he doesn't notice adam's name scrawled on the label??

yes yes i love shakarian because those two just understand each other intrinsically. but i am foaming at the mouth for more cross-cultural differences that don't quite translate. i want garrus to be horrified by the idea that milk comes out of humans and babies drink it. i want shepard to be grossed out that turian parents chew up food for their babies and spit it in their mouths. i want shepard to not quite realize that when she arches her neck it's actually super suggestive and "uh babe, why are you flirting with my father like that?" "what, no, i'm just stretching." i want garrus to not 100% understand sarcasm because humans don't have subvocals and why would they ever just lie boldly like that? i want shepard to get used to the idea that turians have never once evolved to use utensils when they eat (hello? they only have three fingers?) and has to come to terms with garrus gnawing at huge chunks of blue, way too undercooked pieces of meat with his claws. i want garrus to be awestruck with the different amount of ways that humans can style their hair, and how does that not hurt? you're yanking your fringe and clipping it back? are you sure that's comfortable? i want shepard to turn her translator off every now and again so that she could hear the little chirping noises garrus makes to himself when he's concentrating. i want garrus to secretly adore watching shepard curl into chairs and twist her limbs onto couches because there's simply no way he could ever bend like that and be comfortable. i just want more.

Dewdrop is cat coded, but specifically in the way that:

Dew often becomes overcome w/ the overwhelming urge to slap

Dew’s body is like a liquid. He takes the shape of w/e he’s sitting in.

Dew goes ek ek ek whenever he’s stimulated.
