This much is evident. It’s quite late when Jaemin leaves your house, whispering a ‘goodbye’ into your hair. Extracting yourself from his warm embrace takes everything you have within you, and even then you stand outside, watching him pull away from your house and drive off into the night. You stay there for longer than is necessary, and longer than he exists within your line of sight. You’re screwed. Whipped. Floored. You’re fucked. 

It’s easy for you to see just how absolutely enamored you are with Jaemin, with the way he expresses himself using his eyebrows and how leans into his laughter, with how hooded his eyelids get sometimes when he’s deep in thought, the way he understands just how to let you know that he’s listening, that he’ll always be listening to you. It was their dream for you to go to an exclusive school such as 127 House. A place where the finest kind of vampires go to school, and a place where rich humans like you are given the opportunity to have the same education.

Sounds fun? It does, but the division between humans and vampires is taken seriously in 127 House. Actually, it’s not a division, it’s discrimination. 

Yes, you go to the same school with the vampires but those bloodsuckers are treated royalty. Humans are not allowed to be friends with vampires, talking to vampires is strictly prohibited, fornicating with a vampire is a major offense, and having a relationship with a vampire can get you kicked out of the school. It says in the student handbook that they have all these rules and divisions to protect the royal bloodsuckers and to maintain peace and order inside the school.
