morty would most likely make roblox and minecraft videos.

i'm having dumb little thoughts about rick and morty rn, but i can literally post whatever i want- so, oh well:

i don't mean to throw shade or anything, but i would definitely subscribe to morty's youtube channel and ignore rick's.

you just know that morty's would be entertaining to watch. he'd be trying to do what other people on youtube do- vlogging, comedy skits, pranks (on rick ofc), gaming (i just know he would be the cutest lil let's player ever). he'd be awkward, the pacing would be weird, and the jokes wouldn't land- but that'd be why it worked. i like to think he'd be nervous that rick would get angry if he caught him filming him, but he's ALWAYS with rick, so he'd just be like... shakily sneaking a few frames of rick here and there. hiding the camera in his lap to get shots of them in the ship.

"h-hi and welcome back to my channel! this is my- my day on zorpatheon 9!" *loud ass royalty free music plays over his little intro* (he has 4 subscribers)

rick's would be one of those channels that's like "watch me build this robot on 3x with no music or voiceover" or "fine... i'm going to teach you how to recalibrate a lavatic reactor core, but i WILL be insulting your intelligence for even looking up a tutorial in the first place." he'd probably have morty off to the side holding all of his shit or showing each tool to the camera like a beauty guru, but when morty tries to quip a joke, he'd get so annoyed.

Ive been saying this since I watched the show for the first time. I love each of their characters, just not together. they're toxic.

for the love of god everyone shut up about mattelektra being cute, as someone who has been in a situationship with their ex/ex-best friend, head over heels in love, you will overlook manipulation, abuse, pretty much all of the red flags just to stay for whatever light they have.

you will lose yourself in the process, burn bridges and meaningful friendships to be with someone who only intends to use you and take advantage of your emotions for their betterment. that's how shitty toxic love is.

matt cut off everyone he loved and then stayed in a building that imploded for elektra, he knew he was going to get himself killed - how is any of this cute? did matt love elektra? yes! but was their relationship healthy or normal in the slightest? no, babes stop romanticizing their relationship

ok so i just had a thought. im rewatching adventure time and got to the episode crossover. in the episode the litch's hand gets thrown into the multivers portal or whatever it is and there is now on in every universe.

now, there is going to be an at spin off about fionna and cake and simon traveling the multiverse. my thought is that the show is gonna follow the crew going around the multiverse destroying these things.

I was trying to pirate Chainsaw Man but every new tab I opened was just another Rick and Morty.

Why dont vampires just live in space? If they travel the infinite cosmos they won't have to worry about burning up and would technically be able to Carpe more diems.

something i've been wondering about recently is if jake and jermane age differently? like if jermane is still alive cause he ages at a different rate than jake. It would make since if they did since they aren't the same species technically.

I just wanna talk about Finn for a minute and his importance to Fionna and Cake, or more specifically Simon.

Both of them are going through very very similar things right now. Simon lost the love of his life, Bety, and he's not able to move on. This is very evident from the fact that he is trying to summon Golb and how depressed he is right now. Finn also lost someone very important to him. He lost his brother and he is also not able to move on. In the Distant lands special Finn literally says that he was never able to move on from Jake's death. With them both suffereing through basically the same thing and having known each other for so long, it's obvious that they would both become very close and confide in each other to help the other through the pain they are feeling.

But, Finn has support systems he can go to. He is able to connect to the world he is in better because he grew up there. He has a better reputation then Simon does and a better understanding of the world. Simon is mentally isolated right now. He's a normal dude living in a magical world and no one else around him can relate to that, not even Finn. This separation from everyone else is expressed through everything about Simon. From the way he talks, to the way he dresses, the things he's interested in, even his color pallet.

Finn's important to the show to demonstrate Simon's separation. And if I can be delulu for a minute, I think that having Simon be around someone going through the same thing while being able to get so much support from everyone around him will worsen his mental state. Because also remember, Finn has direct friends and family. We see him with his nephew in the first couple of seconds he was on screen. He talks about how he's going to talk to Huntress Wizard. All at the same time, Simon has no one. Marci is there yes, but she can't be there for him like he needs, she has her own life. At the end of the day Simon's alone.

I think it's clever for the writers to introduce this opposition. It's a great way to emphisize what Simon's going through and bring back a great character. It makes me sad to see Simon like this though, I just want him to be happy :'(
