my favourite thing about bnha chat fics is reading them without first looking at the notes at the start and having to guess who’s who based on the usernames the authors picked. sometimes i don’t even check what the plot is about, i just see “chat fic” and start reading

byakuya is known for speaking his mind and saying things that other people wouldn't tell others this directly

he comes over as mean because of that, but he does have good intentions

or at least when it comes to you! 

he'll often tell you to sit still and concentrate, sometimes even rolling his eyes when he notices you are too spaced out to even listen to him

however, he won't tolerate anyone else speaking to you like that! 

byakuya knows you very well and he loves you the way you are, even with all of your flaws

when he's being so direct with you, he's only doing so because he knows that if you concentrate for a moment, any annoying chores will be done in no time and you'll get to do the things you're actually excited for

byakuya wouldn't want you to change who you are, but he does know that your hyperactivity can harm you, by forgetting important things, so he does try to help you out and remind you of them

however, byakuya knows that sometimes just telling you to sit still and do what you're supposed to do simply won't do it and that you have day where you just can't calm down

on those days, he does your chores for you, but you better show gratitude for it!

If I have to see one more “we survived him before we can do it again” post I’m going to scream.

So many people didn’t. So many more people are going to die. Women are going to bleed out in parking lots because doctors are scared to give them the abortion they need. Migrates are going to die in detention centers. Kids are going to have their parents ripped away in mass deportations. Potentially millions of people are going to lose their healthcare.

Yes, we keep fighting, but don’t say we survived before. A lot of people didn’t.
