You managed to escape Tartarus, I see.
"Staying with me will better yet grant you the opportunities of proving just your worth as the Goddess of Love and Lust. Dear, sweet Aphrodite," the jealousy continued to linger but the lust had once more overpowered it combined with love. He shushed her, a finger on her lip before pressing forward and giving her an open mouthed kiss. That was his answer, perhaps it was the lust calling, her pheromones but he couldn't live with himself if he did not forgive her at this moment.
“That may be true.. but I cannot hold myself simply to you, even if you wish it.. the world would be empty and barren without love, even lust..” She drew her fingers along his lower lip, leaning in to dust a kiss across his cheek. “I know I have been cruel, father, for holding myself away from you, always out of reach and touch. Do you forgive me for that?”
Zeus mildly smiled in return, he motioned for the young man to stop as he, himself crossed his arms and looked at the younger. "I've been doing well. What about you?"

Iacchos smiled politely at his father and walked forward to him. “Hello Father”, said the younger God. “How do you fare?”
He was quite impressed by the kindness the artist had shown. It was more than he was expecting and the man had even offered the little of the clean water he had to the beggar who had stopped by without notice, claimed to be Jupiter and asked for water of all things.
Hearing about the wine, however, caused him to crack into a smile. With a small motion of his hand, he took the water and had refilled the empty water jugs located in the other room as a means of thanks.
"You had mentioned that you are an artist, signore? Mind sharing any of your recent pieces?" He took a sip of the water before taking the seat that had been offered to him before. Wandering eyes glanced around the room in hopes of seeing just the next greatest masterpiece.
“Certainly, hold on just one moment. You may come in if you like while I try to find some available. My workshop has plenty of paints, but little food and water I am afraid.” He beckons for the man to come inside, closing the door behind him as he tries to think to himself where he put any glasses he may have had.
“Feel free to have a seat if you are tired,” he said as he made his way over to a cupboard, finding one small cup available and dusting it off. He left the man alone temporarily as he went into another room, and soon came back with a half full cup of water, handing it to him gently.
“Mi dispiace, I do not have much clean water available here. Most of the water is used for cleaning and preparations. For the most part there is just wine stored away.”
"Was it not you, yourself that chose your faith? You make it seem as if I had exiled you to rule the Underworld when it was your own hand that picked your faith."
The ruler of the Olympians eyed his brother, not budging and standing in place. Showing that he has no fear of the other and if a fight were to break out, the others would quickly show up to protect their Father.
He stopped, as if considering his brother’s request, before simply replying with, “No.”
He paced before Zeus slowly, his ashen robes flowing over the gleaming floors of Olympus. Everything on Olympus was gleaming and pristine and he was decaying and decrepit.
”I sought only to see my old home. You expect to lock me in that prison of a kingdom and not miss the very mountain I was raised?”
Father.. go easy on him, please. I promise you he means you and your mountain no threat.
Yet he had taken you by force and now you believe to love him. That is a threat and crime in itself.
Son, you've been tending to your duties, have you not?

Hello, father.
Had you not been impatient, you would have received one. So instead, I shall wish you a good night.
Typical.
However, such things are too predictable for me to dwell upon … I shall retire for the night with my husband.
Goodnight.
"We all have things for which we are willing to make exceptions for. I'm sure you can find it in your heart to release her from your entrapment." Just because he was ready, didn't mean he would attack his own without any real reason. Zeus is well aware that Hades and Persephone are now married and past the abduction but the sense of betrayal remains within Zeus' heart.
"What business do you seek on Olympus? You should have called Hermes instead of making an unwanted appearance."
”And yet your daughter was the one who ate the fruit of the Underwold, binding her there. Or does that fact slip the mind of the almighty Zeus?”
He was pushing him, his very voice taunting Zeus to take action against him.
Bow before the Father of Gods and Men. Mighty Zeus, you descend to earth In lightning, exploding the deep. Our hearts beat wildly before you. Everlasting is your power, Father of the Deathless Ones. From your head sprang forth Pallas Athena, And in your thigh you hid the infant Dionysus. By you cities are lost or won. Be moved by our prayer, Bull roaring Heaven Lord. Nod your august head, And bless us here. -- Chris Marbutt {{Roleplay blog of Zeus, The Father of Gods & Men, from Greek mythology, comic and movie depictions.}} Revamp in progress
