He Was Quite Impressed By The Kindness The Artist Had Shown. It Was More Than He Was Expecting And The

He was quite impressed by the kindness the artist had shown. It was more than he was expecting and the man had even offered the little of the clean water he had to the beggar who had stopped by without notice, claimed to be Jupiter and asked for water of all things.

Hearing about the wine, however, caused him to crack into a smile. With a small motion of his hand, he took the water and had refilled the empty water jugs located in the other room as a means of thanks.

"You had mentioned that you are an artist, signore? Mind sharing any of your recent pieces?" He took a sip of the water before taking the seat that had been offered to him before. Wandering eyes glanced around the room in hopes of seeing just the next greatest masterpiece.

“Certainly, hold on just one moment. You may come in if you like while I try to find some available. My workshop has plenty of paints, but little food and water I am afraid.” He beckons for the man to come inside, closing the door behind him as he tries to think to himself where he put any glasses he may have had.

“Feel free to have a seat if you are tired,” he said as he made his way over to a cupboard, finding one small cup available and dusting it off. He left the man alone temporarily as he went into another room, and soon came back with a half full cup of water, handing it to him gently.

“Mi dispiace, I do not have much clean water available here. Most of the water is used for cleaning and preparations. For the most part there is just wine stored away.”

"Is it so wrong to ask for your attention?," he wasn't begging or pleading, no. The man hasn't spent much time with her and the sweet smell coming from the garden--no, her--was too intoxicating to wish to leave. He crossed his leg, right ankle resting atop his left knee and motioned for her to join him.

Oh, the thought of shooting a bit of lighting at the beads to allow the unnecessary fabric to drop was now becoming an urge.

“Do you require something?” It’s not an accusatory tone that rides in the sultry sweetness of her voice, merely inquiring. The watering can is out of water, so she puts it down, fingers plucking a few dead leaves from the stem of a flower, before passing her fingers over the velvet-soft petals. Glancing back over her shoulder at her father, chin brushing the beaded clasp on her shoulder, the very thing holding her dress together, up.

He responded with a smile as well, "indeed it has been. You look stunning, as always."

Macha sensed that another deity was near, and she turned around, recognising his face. “Zeus. It has been quite some time.” she said, a smile on her lips.

Zeus had been on guard just as much as Hades had. The brothers had a bit of a stressful relationship and the abduction of Persephone only helps add fuel to the fire. "Do you have any business here on Olympus? If not, I think it's time to shorten this unexpected visit."

"Was it not you, yourself that chose your faith? You make it seem as if I had exiled you to rule the Underworld when it was your own hand that picked your faith."

The ruler of the Olympians eyed his brother, not budging and standing in place. Showing that he has no fear of the other and if a fight were to break out, the others would quickly show up to protect their Father.

He stopped, as if considering his brother’s request, before simply replying with, “No.”

He paced before Zeus slowly, his ashen robes flowing over the gleaming floors of Olympus. Everything on Olympus was gleaming and pristine and he was decaying and decrepit.

”I sought only to see my old home. You expect to lock me in that prison of a kingdom and not miss the very mountain I was raised?”

There was no absolute need for the Greek God to do so, they weren't in any sort of dominance or power competition--yet. Zeus wasn't afraid to show his power and strength but only when required, he may be reckless from time to time but this meeting was more diplomatic than a war decree. The Hindus were not a threat yet and Zeus was here to make sure it stayed that way, as an observer not tyrant.

"How does your family fare? I'm more than certain that I won't be graced with their presence during this visit so I feel the need to ask instead."

Shiv was glad the other did not try to assert any sort of dominance as both were the heads of their respective pantheons. The Destroyer and the Olympian were equals in both power and position. “I too have been well. Though I am taking a bit of a break at the moment to follow up on a few members of my family.” The God smiled ever so slightly and nodded his head. “I am glad to hear you are well, Zeus.”

Zeus mildly smiled in return, he motioned for the young man to stop as he, himself crossed his arms and looked at the younger. "I've been doing well. What about you?"

Iacchos smiled politely at his father and walked forward to him. “Hello Father”, said the younger God. “How do you fare?”

"H-Hello...?" Anna tilted her head, her soft violet eyes shining.

He was unsure if he should trust the stranger with his true form, so he stood there continuing to bear the appearance of an old man, looking back at the strange yet beautiful violet irises.

"You have an air to you, unlike any I've ever encountered," he replied with a small smile.

fatherofgodsandmen-blog - Bow before the Father of Gods & Men
Bow before the Father of Gods & Men

Bow before the Father of Gods and Men. Mighty Zeus, you descend to earth In lightning, exploding the deep. Our hearts beat wildly before you. Everlasting is your power, Father of the Deathless Ones. From your head sprang forth Pallas Athena, And in your thigh you hid the infant Dionysus. By you cities are lost or won. Be moved by our prayer, Bull roaring Heaven Lord. Nod your august head, And bless us here. -- Chris Marbutt {{Roleplay blog of Zeus, The Father of Gods & Men, from Greek mythology, comic and movie depictions.}} Revamp in progress
