(Even though this is a fluff prompt, I’m turning it into angst. Sorry. )

Slash sat on the black, leather couch in the recording studio. Steven was snuggled up against him, head lying on his shoulder. It was going to be a long night. Not only was the behind on recording, but he had to go on with Axl on his mind. The one he let get away. Hearing that he was married and had a small family on his own both broke his heart and brought him joy. Slash had seen with his own two eyes how his home life was. He was glad he had managed to get away from that and better himself. It broke him because he knew that he used to be his.

He looked over at Steven, angry that it wasn’t Axl that had his arms around him. Axl should’ve been his. They should’ve been married with a child. However, he fucking ruined it because..well, he didn’t even know why he was avoiding them. He guessed it was the fear of him getting in trouble with his father. Seeing his stepfather not be afraid to pull out a gun showed that he wouldn’t be afraid to pull it on his own family. He thought he was protecting him from harm when, in reality, he was hurting him even more. Slash was the only person that cared about him that wasn’t a child. He no longer had that after that night his father came to get him.

He left him to fend for himself. Axl deserved to be married to someone else. Someone who wouldn’t leave him in the dust. He hoped that his husband gives him and their daughter all the love and care Axl never got when he was younger.

Plot: Nikki and Tommy have been friends for a few months now, but Nikki has never shown his eyes. There’s a secret behind this.

Warnings: mentions of past abuse, mention of rape (in the context of a Greek myth)

The first time Tommy had met Nikki they were in a bar, and the drummer hadn’t seen his eyes. It was a boiling Saturday in Los Angeles and, despite the temperatures, Sixx was in full glam mode, dressed in black leather, with jet-black hair, black everything. Tommy looked kinda stupid in his high-waisted tight denim and yellow shirt. Figuring something out about Sixx had been nearly impossible since that dark and thick fringe made it impossible to see Nikki’s eyes. Like a curtain on the stage of an unknown theatre, like a cloud hiding a mysterious moon that could move seas.

Even when they started hanging out regularly, Nikki never took hair away from his face. It seemed like he wanted to avoid eye contact, so Tommy thought he had some strange issues. Though, after a few months of friendship, Lee still hadn’t seen the older’s eyes.
