Akutagawa:
I love the idea of as Akutagawa gets more into the light the more Atsushi falls into darkness.
And so Akutagawa will have to save him with the lessons Atsushi taught him.
Well along with seeing Akutagawa’s outlook on things change so has his hair. With the whites at the end blending more into the black of his hair.
And his eyes have been getting lighter, in fact currently (123) we have never seen them been as bright not clear as they are now.
And the while Atsushi’s eyes remain light we’re getting more and more instances of them being shrouded in darkness.
Beware of the fearsome Port Mafia's White Reaper🐯
Atsushi: Did you hear about that father who broke his sons legs in two?
Heasmaster: And said “it’s too dangerous out there for you to walk so I had to save you.”
Having to clean the shower is so fucking annoying. It’s clean in there. That’s where I go to get clean. It’s clean dude trust me. Stop fucking growing bacteria and stuff man this is the clean locale. You’re embarrassing me in front of the sink
happy birthday, Atsushi 💕
“Unlike superhumans like Dazai, Atsushi has his own weaknesses, he is just like us. He falls into the same traps as we do, and due to the criticality of the incidents in the story, he is driven into a situation where he cannot turn a blind eye to it and has no choice but to face it with all his life. As a reward for all that struggle, he has acquired the strength and mental capacity to understand others.” — K a f k a A s a g i r i
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATSUSHI NAKAJIMA [5.5] ⟡ insp. ⟡ akutagawa ver.
People say Atsushi talks about his past too much and I think he doesn’t talk about it enough.
We are not the same.
I want that lore.
Concept: I love the idea that Atsushi has a lot medial knowledge because of Shibusawa.
But that the majority of it is just outdated medical malpractice.
Because let’s be real here Atsushi was tortured and nothing he went through followed any kind of ethics.
But he doesn’t know that and he’s so well meaning about it.
Which kinda makes it all the more concerning when Atsushi politely asks if Kunikida if can borrow a taser because he has a headache.
Yosano takes him under her wing and is determined to teach him basic first aid among other things.
She gently but firmly tries to usher Atsushi away from his more… archaic views on healthcare.
They all have to grit their teeth and smile when Atsushi learns what a painkiller is. And remarks wow that’s so much easier than knocking myself out and hoping for the best.
Yosano tells herself the next time Mori tries anything she’s going to make him listen to Atsushi not know that what disinfecting wounds means.
The man may be the worst but he’s a professional doctor and it would break his mind.
