I like to imagine a version of link and Zelda that have been told about the curse since they were kids and prepared for it but it never happened so they became quite dramatic about any and all attacks, Zelda likes to overplay her supposed damsel role in a theatrical way and link plays along cause they’re actually just pretty bored and enjoy role playing with each other tsssss
