I found a great summary for how to learn japanese, study plan wise:
https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/s5mtva/struggling_to_see_improvement/ht1lo0x/
The only things I’d add:
1. You can use any study materials, you do not have to stick with what’s linked. There’s several other free grammar guides beyond what they linked, several other sentence anki and memrise decks, etc.
2. I think time spent on kana can be even less than this guide suggests. What I did, which worked for me, was go through an app with hiragana and katakana and mnemonics for each. I studied that for 2 weeks, in combination with going through my study materials (I was studying genki at the time but any study material that already has kana works). After 2 weeks I stopped using the apps because I recognized the kana mostly. From there, I mistakenly recognized kana occasionally for a few months but quickly was able to correct myself (which you can do if your study material has any audio with the text). After a few months I knew them. So basically, I jumped into study materials with kana from day 1, stopped studying kana purposefully after 2 weeks. This guide suggests 1 month which is fine, just know you can do it at a faster pace.
3. A person can study a wildly different way, this study guide suggestion seems based on the immersion-suited structure of first learning basic vocabulary and grammar, and then learning from immersion. This guide’s plan will work. Just know if you don’t like studying these ways, there’s a ton of alternative ways that will work. This is a good roadmap if you have no idea what to do and want to eventually learn by immersing in japanese content.

My main exams got over and I took a much needed break from anything study/university related. Went out, enjoyed the sun, caught up on some tv shows and ofc completed reading 2 books and began The Godfather.
I’m studying anatomy and physiology today. I also plan to post something on my insta page which has been dry for months now. And ofc I’m going to get back to playing the piano, my one true love. It’s gonna take me some time but oh god will it be worth it:))
Resources to keep me focused:
The picture to the left is from the website lifeat.io This website has a lot of different spaces ranging from cafés and libraries to nature and cityscape. It also has amazing anime and fantasy themed spaces like Harry Potter and Sherlock. They’re constantly adding more spaces and not only that, you have a to-do list, a note taking section, personal music section, a timer and a daily quote to keep you motivated.
I love this website ans they new additions they’re bringing adds on to the best of it.
I have added the link to the website but do dm me if it isn’t working.
Hope this is helpful. Here’s to having a productive day lovelies. <33

Have you heard about Pomodoro Kitty? It's the cutest website for pomodoro sessions.
This is the cutest study buddy to work with after all who doesn't want to be judged by a cat when they work.

1. To document and share my research into the all encompassing term ‘law,’ as it’s something I’m very interested in and want to keep up to date with.
2. To simplify various concepts of law, so that (future) law students and non-law people can all understand them easily. I believe that no matter how many laws are passed/policies formed, they will only remain words on a sheet up paper until everyone fully comprehends their implementations and how it affects them.
[Right now (August 2021), many areas of the blog are empty, but I am working on filling all of the sections I have set out.]
