I have been given a macro lense attachment for my phone as an early birthday gift. Here's some of my smallest specimens. I'm still getting the hang of it. My photos will be improving
It is! The pear is foam, so I pinned the roach to it to get that pose

One of my favorites, a male atlas moth on a tree of heaven, surrounded by bamboo. I made this piece to mimic flash photography in a forest at night. Tree bark is sculpted by me with clay

Vintage bamboo weevils! These specimens are older than me! By, like, a lot!
Because bamboo weevils are from Asia, and these are very old, I decided to try and mimic staples of classic Asian art, like the deep green of bamboo leaves and the bright, lucky color red
