Writing example:

“You swear that you didn’t do it.” He slammed his fist down on the table, “swear you didn’t kill them!” He was desperate for a confession now, that what he had seen wasn’t true, that his childhood best friend wasn’t a cold hearted killer.

“I- don’t remember.” The other man squeaked out, a tear running down his cheek, “I don’t remember killing them. I swear.”

The police officer sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “We have the video footage. Don’t lie to me. I thought you were good, you took care of me. We were best friends!” He threw his hands up, “You promised you’d never hurt me, and look at where we are now.”
