Transgender people in my phone you’d better live you’d better love you’d better live long enough to become old and annoy your great grandnephews you’d better watch trashy movies you’d better meet new people you love and hate and forget and remember you’d better hang in there for better and worse you’d better smell the dust after the rain and remember that you’re alive and full of beautiful sturdy bones you’d better hold onto that friend and never let them go you’d better keep living and living and living and never stop

PSA: when a cis woman is called mannish and accused of "not really being a woman" for being tall or broad-shouldered or having a deeper than average voice, that is transmisogyny. that woman is being treated that way for the exact same reason a trans women is treated that way: because it's not actually about your genes or your genitals.
women of colour have been talking about this for decades. before there was transmisogyny, there was racism and misogynoir. the features associated with women of colour have long been considered either ugly or exotic, neither of which defends you from being considered unfeminine.
remember, these are cis women we're talking about.
and because women of colour already have a long history of being denied their femininity, who do you think transmisogyny is coming down hardest on after trans women?
this shit objectively makes the lives of all women substantively worse. you can be cis and have features that remind people of someone who is not in the exact same way you can be white and have features that remind people of someone who is not, and both of those things will cause people to treat you like shit if either is allowed to be considered incompatible with ideas of femininity and womanhood.
if you are a woman- any woman- transmisogyny is your problem. your right to be secure in your femininity as a woman is not guaranteed. being born with the "right parts" will not protect you, because that's not what any of this has ever been about.
rip the scooby-doo mask off: it's misogyny. it's always misogyny. and misogyny is every woman's problem, not just the ones you think it's about.

sometimes i feel like im climing up this incline again alone but thankully sisypus and the itsy bitsy spider and here with me
i like working at plant store. sometimes you ring up someone and there's a slug on their plant and so you're like "Oh haha you've got a friend there let me get that for you" and you put the slug on your hand for safekeeping but then its really busy and you dont have time to take the slug outside before the next customer in line so you just have a slug chilling on your hand for 15 minutes. really makes you feel at peace with nature. also it means sometimes i get to say my favorite line which is "would you like this free slug with your purchase"
