holy hell I just started reading In Memoriam by Alice Winn, and I've already cried like twice in the first 50 pages.

The stories are a bit of a 6 shades of Gay situation where each colour of the rainbow follows a different queer identity in the shape of knights and royals. They're a messy bunch. Here's our quick pitch of the series at cons:

Coqelicot -- a redux of Rapunzel featuring evil lesbian knights. Bronze -- a redux of The Princess & The Pea featuring a nonbinary, ace knight caught in a time loop. Lamplight -- a redux of Beauty & The Beast featuring a trans knight learning to love and forgive herself. Juniper -- a redux of Cinderella featuring a tragic gay knight running from his past and right into a blacksmith's arms~ Sapphire -- a redux of Sleeping Beauty featuring a polyam ship between a dragon (she/her), a knight (she/they) and a royal (they/them)~ Velvet -- a redux of 12 Princesses featuring a bisexual knight overcoming grief.

We're funding a softcover anthology version of the series and I get pretty much nothing but high praise from folks who have read (and reread???) these books time & time again! I've been super obsessed with dragons recently, and it's great because I'm finally getting into worldbuilding and developing my fantasy world and the race of dragons more, but like... I have school. That I'm currently slacking off on to be able to work on dragon stuff more. So.

I just watched The Fast and the Furious for the first time. And. Could Brian O'Conner be any mORE FUCKING BISEXUAL.

THE WAY HE TALKS TO DOM? THE WAY HE PRACTICALLY FLIRTS WITH VINCE IN THAT BEER SCENE AT THE HOUSE? THE WAY HE FUCKING LOOKS AT DOM ALL. THE. TIME!?!?

Like yes, this man had chemistry and was obviously interested in Mia, but like.... Dom. Every scene with Brian and Dom was like the most sexually charged shit in the show.

Just. The way he stares at that man is just. Insane.

Anyways yeah thought I should share that with you people. Hope I'm not the only one that thinks like this lmao cause I swear to god the chemistry is THERE.

At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.
