Panel 2: The Mom clasps her hands together and and sadly says "Actually autistic people are spreading a harmful message of accepting their autism instead of curing it." Panel 3: She angrily says "Instead of letting us speak for them they insist on speaking for themselves!" Panel 4: Honeydew comes in and the Mom side-eyes them as she says "We must stop them before they do too much damage to..." Panel 5: Honeydew says to the Mom "Hey, could you maybe not-" Panel 6: The Mom furiously screams "Stop stealing my spotlight!!!" Honeydew looks very shocked.

Just being an autistic self advocate online makes you a target to these sorts of people. Heaven forbid we speak for ourselves and steal their thunder.
