A judge had ruled that the former aides must testify even though Trump asserted executive privilege.
Former President Donald Trump is appealing a judge's order that one of his former chiefs of staff and other top aides must testify before the federal grand jury investigating the Jan. 6 riot, a source familiar with the matter confirmed Wednesday.
U.S. Court Judge Beryl Howell's ruled this month that Mark former chief of staff Meadows and other aides, including Dan Scavino and Stephen Miller, must testify despite Trump's invocation of executive privilege.
Most assuredly!
You know… I’ve been thinking a lot about why no one else works as well for Aaron Dingle as Robert Sugden.
I think it’s because, just in terms of sheer gravitas, Robert was the partner Aaron deserved.
Aaron’s stature and standing on the show - love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he’s an Emmerdale icon - required someone with equal presence and history. He couldn’t be with the male equivalent of a Tracey. An icon deserves an iconic love.
So who else but Robert Sugden could even come close?
They are titans, heavy hitters, only sons of Emmerdale’s first families (sorry Andy). They are the epic love story both their characters deserved and it makes sense that they are eachothers redemption.
More so than any other pairing, Robert and Aaron ARE Emmerdale. So it’s fitting they get their own Christmas special.
Republicans are whitewashing American history. Neo-Nazis in action right out in the open and nearly unchallenged.
I LOVED this. I was so relieved!

Aaron REALLY is holding onto Robert so tightly. These two don’t need words to tell each other & us how much they love each other. I do like hearing the words, too, but that’ll be later.

I don’t think they’re anything alike! Liv reminds me SO MUCH of Aaron 8 years ago. He was a tearaway, I’m telling ya’, but a loveable, vulnerable tearaway. Robert is, and always has been, a loveable person...and vulnerable as well. Aaron, Robert & Liv have had their share of childhood losses and serious hurts. Robert was bullied by a girl gang and by Andy. There are reasons each have become the people they are at this stage. I hope the love between the 3 of them grows and transforms them to even better versions of themselves. I think they can be a great family.
oh man people are comparing liv to lachlan stop that right the fuck now

Can you do a conversation between Robert and Lawrence, about accepting their feelings etc.
I am so sorry anon, this got lost in my drafts for some reason and I completely forgot I hadn’t finished it!
It was severely uncomfortable being back at Home Farm under this new guise of ‘outsider’ and ‘enemy number one’. Usually, Robert had no problem being hated - it was a niggle which he could ignore with a smirk or a sharp retort. Water off a duck’s back, and nothing he hadn’t face a thousand times before. But now that he was working alongside Lawrence, it was necessary for the two of them to reach some kind of truce in order to make the business work, and as yet, the older man was failing to comply with any of Robert’s attempts at making amends.
