Can i just say what im really interested in seeing is how aaron handles and deals with stuff when chas has gone because she would always be there to peck his head when somethings happening i want to see him deal with stuff with robert and liv as a family unit without chas or paddy being a shoulder to cry on if that makes sense ?

Oh my god I didn’t even think about that! Seeing Aaron cope…as an adult…without Chas or Paddy breathing down his neck….this could be good. Yes, like it!

I have watched Emmerdale for a long time. I liked it very much. EE was my top show, but ROBRON changed all that. I don’t just like it, I LOVE it because of ROBRON.

Do you appreciate Emmerdale as a show or do you just watch for Robron? Just wondering, either is totally okay!

Just lovely. Beautifully written.

One day Robert finds Aaron sitting on the floor at the foot of his bed, hunched over and crying. Robert immediately rushes to Aaron’s side and pulls him into his arms, trying to sooth him.

“Aaron what wrong?” Robert asks softly. “She saw. I’m a freak.” Aaron cries into Robert’s chest. “You’re not a freak. What happened?” “Liv walked in without knocking as I was getting changed…and she…she saw my scars.” Aaron’s voice breaks as he clings onto Robert. “Shh…it’s gonna be okay.” Robert soothes, kissing the top of Aaron’s head. “You didn’t see the look of horror on her face. I’m a pathetic and ugly mess.” Aaron sobs, looking up at Robert with puffy, bloodshot eyes as he tries to brush his tears away with the sleeve of his jumper.

Robert grabs Aaron’s face in his hands, forcing Aaron to look at him. “You’re not pathetic or ugly. You’re the strongest and most beautiful person I know.” Robert says softly, his thumbs brushing away the tears trickling down Aaron’s face. “What if this is how it’s always going to be? Me always scared of anyone seeing my scars…even my own family?” Aaron croaks, staring up at Robert with fresh tears brimming in his eyes. “I promise you it won’t. One day you’ll be able to look at your scars and be reminded of where you’ve been…how you fought your way through a difficult time in your life and came out the other side stronger. But they don’t have to dictate your future. Only you do that.” Robert whispers, his eyes glistening with so much love and unshed tears. “Just look at me.” Robert murmurs as he swiftly pulls off his shirt, revealing his naked chest to Aaron and raising Aaron’s hand to his scar by his heart. “It reminds me of the man I used to be and whom I don’t want to go back to being again.”

“Does it still hurt.” Aaron whispers as the tips of his fingers touch Robert’s scar. “No not anymore. But the sight of doesn’t make you love me any less does it?” “No of course not.” “Then why should your family or me love you any less bc of yours?!” Robert says softly in that voice he only ever reserves for Aaron. “I dunno.” Aaron croaks, biting his lip nervously and eyes not wavering from Robert’s scar. “I love you Aaron. You’re my everything. Scars or no scars. Nothing will be able to change how I feel about you. And your family feels the same. They love you for you.” “I guess so.” Aaron mumbles “I love you too. Don’t know what I’d do without you.” “Good thing you never have to find out then.” Robert teasingly grins, earning him a watery smile from Aaron that warms Robert’s heart as he pulls Aaron into his arms, holding him tight, and dropping a tender kiss on Aaron’s forehead.

“You just shut your mouth for one minute. Let me say something, right? You are a disaster. You’re smug and you’re arrogant and cocky, you’ve got terrible taste in music and you dance worse than paddy and that’s saying something. But I’ve got nothing to figure out, okay?

I know you, I know exactly what I’m getting myself into. And you’ve tried so hard for me, for the people you love and not everybody sees that but I do.

You got me to talk about Gordon. Then you listened to me and you got me through the impossible.

Liv, Liv, my little sister, you found her. You found my little sister. You. And even though she drove you nuts and she reported you to the police, you took her in as if she was your own.

You saved my life. You got me out of that car in that water and you saved my life. 

You planned this mental wedding. You built us a home and you got me out of prison early.

And then you told me the truth about Rebecca instead of trying to hide it.

And the you stepped up for your son and you fought for him and you loved him and you loved me. You loved me like nobody ever has before.

So, please, Robert… Will you… Will you just come home with me? And let me help you this time.”
