So Cute! So Apt! What A “beast” Though!

If you’ve known Robert since he was a kid, especially teenaged Robert, you know the losses in his life. You know the nasty things Andy did. You understand why he valued money in place of real love. You understand the closeted Robert. Then you know how far he has come to this time. You get why he loves, adores Aaron. I’ve always liked Robert, rather unstood him, even though he’s done awful things. I always knew the good that was in him. Aaron brings that out in Robert-the good.

Maybe he divides opinion - some people absolutely hate him, some people love to hate him and maybe some people even feel sorry for him. He’s a troubled character with problems and they manifest themselves with the horrible things he does.”

With the Robron scene today, iv seen people say it was like Aaron didn’t want to go out with Robert or didn’t care. It didn’t seem like that at all to me, he didn’t ignore Robert, he just explained what he had to deal with.

You know… I’ve been thinking a lot about why no one else works as well for Aaron Dingle as Robert Sugden.

I think it’s because, just in terms of sheer gravitas, Robert was the partner Aaron deserved.

Aaron’s stature and standing on the show - love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he’s an Emmerdale icon - required someone with equal presence and history. He couldn’t be with the male equivalent of a Tracey. An icon deserves an iconic love.

So who else but Robert Sugden could even come close?

They are titans, heavy hitters, only sons of Emmerdale’s first families (sorry Andy). They are the epic love story both their characters deserved and it makes sense that they are eachothers redemption.

More so than any other pairing, Robert and Aaron ARE Emmerdale. So it’s fitting they get their own Christmas special.

a night at the pub

because apparently i’ve jumped on the ‘must protect robert sugden at all costs’ train and i wanted to see FLUFF and happiness for this poor soul. but robert getting happiness is basically au so here have this *~*

Robert smiled as he walked into the pub, greeted by Chas behind the bar already waving a pint glass in his direction with a cheeky smile on her face. 

“You on the beer tonight, Rob? Or is tonight one of your sophisticated nights? Chardonnay will it be?” She cackled. There was a time when Robert found Chas’ laugh one of the most annoying sounds in the world Now, he laughed with her and shook his head at the teasing he endured, daily he might add.

“Oh just get me a beer, would ya? Please, m’ bar lady?” This had become somewhat of a routine between them, since Rob was always early to his and Aaron’s dates and Aaron was always categorically late. Usually because of Liv. Sometimes because of Adam, or Paddy. It used to annoy him, but now he couldn’t help but smile as he scanned the pub to see who was in tonight.

Ok, so I was bored and made this😏😁 and then came to the conclusion that Emmerdale need to do a Robron spin off like they did for the Dingles & Paddy and Marlon. They would make a fortune and it would satisfy our needs too😉 Come on Emmerdale, make it happen🙏🏻

And then at one point, just to have something to do, Danny starts answering the questions meant for Ryan…

Q: Ryan - have you got any personal effects in your dressing room? A: There’s not much. Fluffy pink handcuffs. Hello Kitty teddy. 1D CD and most importantly a signed Danny Miller photo✌

And Ryan will try and bat Danny’s hands away to stop him from typing anymore BS and Danny is laughing so hard when he sends off the tweet, flashing that cheeky grin and Ryan playfully shoving his shoulder and laughing along with Danny at his naughty antics 😂
