absolutely no empathy for women
(word inspired by: Fire)
Here is a spell bottle charm that brings the wearer attention they desire and brings out their fiery beauty for the world to see. Wear it for when you wish to be damn hot and look like a goddess/god of fire.
You Will Need:
Bottle Pendant with a cork, small enough to easily wear around the neck
Red string or ribbon cut long enough to wear around neck
Mortar and PestleÂ
Dried Rosemary
Cinnamon (preferably ground)
Dried Garlic or Garlic Powder (avoid garlic salt though)
Dried Pepper flakes
Red Candle (and something to light it)
Steps:
Set up an area, make sure it is clear to give you plenty of room to work. Cleanse it accordingly and cast a circle if you choose. Do whatever you feel is the best to open a spell with. I usually clean the table I am working on and spritz a bit of cleansing spray in the air.
Place your red candle before you on the table or wherever you are working. Anoint it if needed then light it. Let it burn for the rest of the spell.
In your mortar add your rosemary, cinnamon, garlic (powder) and pepper flakes. Using your pestle grind them up as fine as you can manage while focusing on the flame of your candle. The flame of the candle represents the energy you wish to give off while wearing this charm, the fiery radiance and beauty of it and the warmth it holds. Focus on how you wish others to see you, which is down right beautiful and smoking!
Once your herbs are finely ground carefully pour them into your bottle charm and cork it.
Blow out your candle and carefully seal your little charm bottle with the wax to seal in that fiery energy you put into it.Â
Tie the red string or ribbon to the bottle, or loop it through any jewelry hook you may have on it.Â
Wear it around your neck whenever you wish to look as hot as fire.
Other notes: Be sure to recharge this bottle charm time to time to keep its effects. You may charge it near a lit candle, in the light of a sun (preferably noon), or using sunstone. Cleanse it using smoke.
can you do a what kind of gf each sign is
Aries: the adventurer, she will be your human alarm clock and morning coffee all into one, she will tease you a lot and say âjust kidding!â at the end of it, she is very touchy-feely, warm and has a heart of gold. her love is priceless and strong. youâll wake up with her in a tent in a foreign country as she sleeps nosily next to you and youâll pull her in closer with a smile on your face.
Taurus: the poet, the one that relates every song she hears, movie she watches, and poem she reads, to you. she cares for you like no other with every empathetic bone in her body. she will love you through the very roughest of times. you can never win an argument against her though. when she is sad, when she is happy, when she is angry: everything she says will sound like a poem and youâll wonder how you got so lucky.Gemini: the kitten, she will make every day different, her kisses will slow time, her laugh will echo through your bones and sometimes you will get annoyed that she is so loud but when she is gone, the silence will feel like torture. she is playful and erratic, she studies you every day and leans you slowly. she guards her heart like a game but gives you whispers of walkthroughs in her smile.
Cancer: the daydream, the one that isnât afraid to tell you how much she loves you every single day. will avoid confrontation like the plague. she will want to do every romantic thing in the book with you like slow dance in the kitchen at 2am while you make dinner together. she could write you a novel about the little things she loves about you that no one else even notices. she feels like home.
Leo: the pleaser, she will want to share her life with you, will be very open, loving and generous. her friends become your friends. will not stop taking selfies of you two together though. she will indulge in your happiness. she will make time for you through her busy day as if you two are the only sole survivors of an apocalypse. she will protect you from the things she had to endure.
Virgo: the submissive, likes to pretend she is tough and in control but she is willing to do anything you ask of her tbh. she likes to make you happy and see you smile. she wants to be your best friend and the love of your life at the same time. she can get snappy when sheâs having a bad day but most of the time is very chill and humorous. sheâs the type to drop all her work and show up for you when you most need it.
Libra: the mediator, the intellectual, the flirt. she will wake you up with rose petals but make you chase her all day. she loves to just talk to you 24/7 and keep the peace. sheâs the type to plan a busy day for the both of you tomorrow but she wonât wake you up because she thinks you look too perfect and youâll both spend the whole day cuddling instead.Scorpio: the warrior- will never want to leave you no matter how badly you treat her but can make your life a passive aggressive hell instead. she will respect you, always listen to you and court you- sheâll want to tell you her deepest pains at 3 in the morning while you sleep as if you are her own personal diary. sheâs the type to show up in the rain at 2am after a fight and angrily kiss you without saying a word, itâll feel like heaven and hell collided.Sagittarius: the traveller, sheâll travel your mind in ways you never thought someone could- sheâll ask just the right questions to known you better than you know yourself. she always knows whatâs wrong and she always knows what to say. sheâs the girl to tell you how it is, she doesnât live in a fairytale but she makes reality seem like a dream. when you lay in bed with her at night youâll be pinching yourself to make sure.Capricorn: the teacher, sheâll teach you how itâs like to live as her, sheâll teach you how to be a better person. sheâll teach you so many things about yourself that you feel lost without her. she puts her walls high, but she expects you to make the effort if you care about her. she is deeply romantic and compassionate: her love with soothe any pain you face throughout your days and sheâll teach you that youâre never alone in anything you do if you have her.Aquarius: the stranger, sheâs so wonderfully unique and insane youâll never find a love like hers again. sheâs like flirting with a stranger on the train. sheâs the most interesting conversation youâve ever had. sheâs like a once-in-a-lifetime photo captured, right in front of you. she will detach much like a stranger, then go all in like youâve known her your whole life. sheâll make you question everything about love and itâs purpose, you will decide it is painful and strange, and yet you will still fall madly for her.Pisces: the princess, once you slay the dragon and make her yours, she will sacrifice a lot for you and work to keep you happy. she will introduce you to her perfect dreamland and provide a place at the throne. to her, you are royalty and she treats you like you are irreplaceable. she is a princess: graceful, friendly, strong. she loves to be loved, by you, and everyone. she dreams of a prince who can make her feel as loved as the heroines she constantly reads about.

I like to study the sexual behaviours and proclivities of men and women around the globe and throughout history; itâs one of the subjects that interest me. As such, I was watching Sex in a Cold Climate, a documentary on the Magdalene laundries of Ireland. It was a very fascinating film and I highly recommend it. Itâs said that the laundries took in girls who were considered âpromiscuousâ, those who were unmarried mothers or were considered a burden on their families. Named after the Bibleâs redeemed prostitute, Mary Magdalene, the laundries were first used to reform these so-called âfallen womenâ. But, they then expanded. According to this source:
âFrom the early 1920s, it is estimated that tens of thousands of women worked in the laundries, which were run as businesses while the women were said to go unpaid. Women worked in the laundries sometimes for years. On arrival at the laundry, they were said to have been given a different name by which they would be known. Those who have spoken about their experiences talk of constantly washing laundry in cold water, of using heavy irons for hours, of close friendships being forbidden, and of never feeling free to leave. Irelandâs last Magdalene Laundry closed in 1996. In 1993, the laundries were brought to light when a convent sold off part of its land and the remains of 155 inmates who had been buried in unmarked graves on the property were exhumedâ.
Iâm just gonna tell you, some of those women deserved to be there. But not all of them, as according to Wikipedia:
ââŠby the end of the 19th century, Magdalen laundries were filled with many different kinds of women, including girls who were ânot prostitutes at allâ, but either âseduced womenâ or women who had yet to engage in sexual activityâŠâ.
Some of these women were committed to the nunsâ âcareâ by their fathers or brothers, sometimes simply for dating men they disapproved of. Â A woman didnât have to be âfallenâ. Most of the documented âMagdelenesâ that were held at these asylums hailed from the Aries though the Leo Plutonian generations. If I had to put this timespace into aspect terms, it would be some heavy Saturn opposite Uranus (discipline and structure pitted against freedom and reform), Jupiter opposite Pluto (religious and spiritual convictions creating considerable animosity and havoc) and/or Saturn opposite Lilith (projecting fear and trepidation of dark, independent feminine sexuality by exerting often violent control) shit going on. The cult of secrecy dictates that there were some very dark Saturnian as well as Lilithian and Plutonic forces at work here.
The laundries were started in the late 18th century (1758, according to Wikipedia), which would encompass the Pluto in Capricorn generation, in which the spotlight shone on all forms of structures, traditions and social conventions. Religious structures that no longer functioned were broken down and reformed. New ways of teaching are developed. They were more polarizedâseeing things in black and white. It is under this generational force that the laundries began. Subsequent Plutonian generations dealt with this oppressive regime of fear and prayer imposed by these Capricorn Plutonians, and their experiences were as varied as they were harsh by todayâs standards. The power of the Church and the stigma associated with unmarried mothers was so overwhelming that for decades the harsh treatment of these women and their children were taboo subjects, and many were forgotten. Itâs easy for us now to sit in judgement of how orphans and homeless girls were taken care of back in those times, because we are a well-off society as a whole now in comparison. But back in those times, it was a disgrace for a girl to get pregnant and not be married. Illegitimate children were second class citizens and treated badly. Their families were embarrassed by them and many families put them out. To be fair, these homes were better than the street. And this wasnât by the Catholic church or any church, it was by society as a whole. It just happens to be that the churches that ended up with these unfortunate people. Churches ran these places as âcharitiesâ. These children and the girls would have been homeless on the streets. Back then poor houses and orphanages and homes for unwed mothers didnât get subsidized by the government. Anything they had was earned or donated. They had to sustain themselves.Â
To speculate further astrologically, those with Pluto in Aries (1822 to 1853) would have had it the hardest. They could be quite rash and impatient in their search for independence and new ways of doing things, which in those days, undoubtedly worked against them. The Pluto Taureans (1853â1884) would have had it a bit easier in that they were just as conservative as the original Plutonian generation that established the laundries, however, theyâd get in trouble by manipulating their environment, and some of this generation were seemingly never satisfied, always needing more and more. The Gemini Plutonians (1882â1914) wanted to bring about a revolution in ideas and concepts. Along with all this change and upheaval came a revolution in the way people communicated. More people had access to a greater amount of knowledge than ever before. Opportunities with education also expanded, allowing people to question more and learn more. Those with Pluto in Cancer (1914â1939) were known for their devastating social upheavals concerning home and family. Traditions disappeared as extreme conditions such as the two World Wars, the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression forced people to rely on their own resources and change their attitudes towards family and home. Members of this generation were often uprooted from either their homes or their homeland. Often their emotionally strong views bordered on the obsessive. And lastly, the Leo Plutonians (1937â1958) would be highlighted by the clash between authoritarianism and individualism. They wanted freedom in their relationships and wanted power over their own lives and were prepared to challenge established structures. Lilith is why so many of us are so damned scared to be our whole selves around each other, because weâre all operating on this collective paradigm that there is something within us that is just so bad that we canât possibly own it, let alone show it to each other and I base this view on things like the Magdalene laundries and the often painful history of organized religion in general. Systematically through history, we have fragmented and shamed away the parts of ourselves that would nourish us and keep us safe (which is incidentally a very Cancerian concept).
Until we come to terms with the totality of the human experience as itâs manifested in its male and female form, creation will continue to be out of whack until we dig through the murk weâve thrown on the feminine to realize sheâs just what we were searching for.
sexual attraction is often indicated in the 5th house, but depending on the signs and aspects involved, this can manifest in many different ways. since the facets of oneâs personality are most immediately expressed through the personal planets (sun, moon, mercury, venus and mars), links are provided for further insight. however, the outer planets (jupiter through pluto) and major points/asteroids can provide other meaningful nuances of sexual expression. hereâs a quick list of how all the planets manifest their sexual energies/performance in the house of fun:
sun - sexual love is expressed wholeheartedly and unabashedly; truly knows the joys of sex
moon - your playful and free sexuality brings you a lot of attention which is often an emotional balm to your soul; may fall in and out of love regularly
mercury - sexual thinking is more straightforward and may be a bit restless in your love life
venus - you often confuse sex with love and will need that connection to another to feel fulfilled
mars - aggressive, passionate and emotional when it comes to sexual performance and expression of love;
jupiter - immense appetite for pleasure, the riskier the better and sexual fulfillment is often never too much, if in a hard aspect, you might very well be licentious; if well aspected, youâre more free with your sexual expression
saturn - sex is often work, either literally or figuratively. if in a hard aspect, you could very well be sexually inhibited; if well aspected, you channel your sexuality carefully. at any rate, you take your pleasures seriously
uranus - sex life may be highly original and unusual; you may use sex as a form of self-expression which is often unorthodox and shocking to others
neptune - the search for pleasure through sex or other indulgences may be ephemeral and elusive
pluto - youâre drawn to extremely strong and dramatic sexual situations which, unchecked, may rule your life
north node - you need to connect to others with the heart involved rather than a more cerebral ideal of sex; need to love more intimately rather than universally
part of fortune - your destiny lies in your ability to have fun with others and sex is one of the ways in which to do this
the eighth house shows how an individual handles sexuality. because this house is rather secretive, it often has an obscuring effect on sexuality. the hidden nature of the eighth house makes the energies of any of the planets that are in it a bit more difficult to understand. at any rate, hereâs a quick list of how the planetsâ sexual energies/performance are magnified and enhanced in the house of sex:
sun - the physicality of sexuality is emphasized; sexual intensity is paramount and will prove very significant to you in your life
moon - very secretive about powerful emotional and sexual needs, your sexuality is deep and mysterious and plays a big role in your emotional wellbeing
mercury - you have a passionate nature with deep-rooted emotions in general; talking and thinking about sex gets you off
venus - sexual experience is important and sexual performance will be very rooted in a desire for love and companionship
mars - for you, sex is a contest and defines your identity as a winner; more than likely will be sexually aggressive and will exert control using your sexuality
jupiter - when it comes to sex, you can be a little self-centered and self-indulgent, unless you consciously develop more self-discipline and responsibility towards your partner
saturn - sex may be physically satisfying but emotionally unsatisfying; this is a tricky placement since you fear losing emotional control which is otherwise essential to an authentic sexual experience
uranus - your sexuality may put you in dangerous and extraordinary situations; unorthodox sex positions such as orgies may appeal to you
neptune - sexual relationships may be coloured by fantasies and unreal expectations; more likely to use sex to escape from reality
pluto - sex will be intense and dramatically alter the lives of those youâre intimately involved with
north node - actively undertakes responsibility for a fated sexual connection with another; your life task may involve work related to sexuality, growth through deeply intimate relationships highlighted by sexual intensity
part of fortune - your destiny lies in the need to reconcile your deeply hidden emotions and sexuality

If youâre new to tarot, you might not know that the twenty-two cards that make up the Major Arcana tell a story. Known often as âThe Foolâs Journeyâ, this story shows the movement from each card starting with The Fool and ending with The World. This story is meant to be a metaphor for life and growth as a person. Knowing this story will help you better understand tarot and may also help you remember the purpose of each card in the Major Arcana. Here is that story (featuring some of the Major Arcana from the Linestrider Tarot by Siolo Thompson).
The story opens with The Fool. This card represents naivety and the impulsivity that comes with inexperience. The Fool is an innocent and unaware of the hardships that may lay before them.Â
The Fool is born.
While The Fool becomes some of the cards that follow it, The Magician is one that appears as a secondary character in The Foolâs story. The Magician is a mysterious card. Connected with the conscious, he teaches The Fool how to impact the world.Â
The Foolâs eyes are opened to magic.
Around the same time The Fool meets The Magician, The High Priestess also comes into play. A mysterious individual connected to the unconscious, she is the mother of creative action. With her guidance, The Fool has agency to act on the world in a way unique to them as an individual. Â
Together, The Magician and The High Priestess strike a balance â on one hand potential and on the other creation.
The Foolâs creativity is sparked.
Following his growth after meeting The Magician and The High Priestess, The Fool enters the care of the Empress and The Emperor. The Empress is a motherly card. Connected to nature, she provides The Fool with support. Even though they are more aware of themselves and their abilities, The Fool still has a long journey ahead.
The Fool is guided by their mother, nurtured to move toward whatever calls them.
The Emperor is the second half of this parental duo. The father, The Emperor is a force of authority. He gives The Fool structure to guide them forward. This structure gives The Fool access to knowledge about the patterns of the world, the way things work, and how rules affect them and who they are.
The Foolâs father shows them structure.
Moving away from their parents, The Fool, now out in the world encounters The Hierophant. Now, seeking education, The Fool finds in The Hierophant knowledge about belief systems, religions, and ideologies and how they function in the world around them. The Hierophant is connected to the arcane and enlightens The Fool in the ways of culture and identity.Â
The Fool enters the world.
Now, indoctrinated into the ways of the world and society, The Fool is entering their teenage phase. This is when, for many, feelings of love and sexual attraction become a priority. Until this point, The Fool focused only on themself, and their interactions with the other characters were self-serving.Â
The Lovers present them with a new milestone, not just love and relationships, but also receiving outside opinions. Even when they are not interacting with another person romantically or sexually, The Fool needs to be able to find harmony in the ways their individuality meshes and interacts with othersâ.
The Fool battles with harmony of the self and love.
Going through the trials set before The Fool by The Lovers, they eventually make their way to adulthood. Now, The Fool has a grasp of their own creativity, a sense of their place in the world, and understands the value of those around them. The Fool feels as though they are on a path to triumph.
The Chariot comes to stand in the way of this. Connected to the ego, The Chariot has a larger control over his presence in the world than The Fool does. The challenge here is for The Fool to find satisfaction in their own successes. Here, The Fool learns to have self-confidence.Â
The Fool finds their confidence.
As they navigate adult life, The Fool finds that there are ups and downs, as many rocks in their paths as there are flowers. They learn to draw on Strength to hone their abilities to be patient, tolerant. Strength supports many aspects of their life both physical and emotional.
The Fool finds physical and emotional strength.
With all the knowledge The Fool has gained to this point of their adult life, they begin to return to the question we often ask during our childhoodââWhy?â In a search for answers, The Fool begins to look for knowledge within. The Hermit is who The Fool becomes at this stage of introspection.
The Fool seeks solitude and the knowledge to be found there.
After time spent looking at the way the world works and their place in it, The Fool has begun to notice patterns and cycles in the movement of the world. Some of this The Fool now understands as the way of life. Others they attribute to fate.
The Fool watches the world, the way it spins and how everything happens for a reason and with some cause.
With a better understanding of the cause and effect nature of the world around them and the way that there things both controllable and uncontrolled, The Fool now looks backward. It is time to understand the ways they have had an impact on the world and take responsibility for their actions. They know now that Justice weighs on everyone, and The Fool must decide which way to tip the scales.
The Fool sees their impact on the world.
Justice has made The Fool prone to excessive control over their place in the world. As much as withdrawing before helped them gain more knowledge, trying to puck deeply at everything they do holds them back. When The Fool lets go, lets things happen as much as making them happen, their world is changed. They hang freely in the balance of life and decision.
The Fool is freed and martyred.
With knowledge about themselves and love and the patterns and cycles of life and justice and fate, The Fool begins to take time to dissect themselves once again. This time, the introspection is productive. The Fool undergoes change, letting go of habits and unnecessary worries. This dramatic change is hard, and letting go is even painful at times, but The Fool emerges transformed.
The Fool sheds themselves.
Even though The Fool has changed and has learned, their movement through life is still fairly erratic. Temperance teaches The Fool to seek balance and hold onto it. They do not need to move back and forth between happiness and practicality. They can find harmony and fulfillment.
The Fool finds equilibrium.
Despite Temperanceâs guidance, The Fool continues to stray ignorantly from one obsession to the next finding freedom in some places and despair in others. They are not the same person they began their life journey as, but they are still not strong enough to resist the attraction of the material things The Devil offers.
The Fool is tempted by ignorance and obsession.
The Fool is trapped under the influence of his baser instincts and The Devilâs penchant for creating hopelessness. In The Tower of their despair, The Fool finds themselves surrounded by a chaotic landscape inside and within themselves. Only a great cataclysmic event will destroy The Tower and free them.
The Fool is trapped.
A blast causes The Tower to crumble in a violent moment that leaves The Fool shaken and scared. The light of The Star shines brightly down. Everything has been lost, but The Star gives The Fool hope.
The Fool finds hope.
Even with hope, The Fool is not returned to a state of pure peace. The Moon, always half in shadow, provides inspiration for the imagination, and the illusions it causes confuse The Fool and show them that they are still lost.
The Fool learns that not everything is as it seems.
When The Sun rises in the wake of The Towerâs destruction, The Fool can see their illusions and fears in a new light. Good things are attainable. It is time for The Fool to start reaching for them again.
The Fool finds their feet.
The Fool is new. After all the trials and journeys they have faced, they can see clearly and know now that Justice weighs heavily on all, but they must be able to forgive themselves for their actions and move forward toward their true purpose and what is most fulfilling to them.
The Fool reassesses their life to this point.
In the final stage of a The Foolâs journey, they leave behind the ruins of the Tower and renter The World. With an entire life behind them and all the opportunity possible ahead of them, they become part of The World, reveling in their accomplishments and knowing that they have the strength to survive and, more importantly, that their journey never truly ends.
The Fool dives headfirst into life.

Hello~ I figured Iâd make my first master-post about Tarot! This is my interpretation, so I donât ask that you just go by my word. Itâs your path! Iâm just here to try to help.
This will be VERY in-depth. So I apologize in advance for the lengthy post, but I hope it will help.Â
Personally for myself I see Tarot as a tool. I use it to help myself and others with some guidance with their lives; however, when it comes to Tarot, donât let it rule over your decisions in your life. It is a tool but that does not mean that you should only go by what it says.
There are two types of readings when it comes to Tarot: Question readings and Open Readings.
Just as the title says Tarot involves answering questions. Yes or No questions arenât meant to be answered by Tarot. When it comes to Yes or No questions pendulums are used with their corresponding charts. Like I stated before, you shouldnât use Tarot to make decisions but to guide you to help you make the decision yourself. The way a question is stated is important for Tarot readers. Hereâs a few tips on what you should look out for:
đź Keeping your options open: If you already have an answer for your question, then youâre not really letting yourself allow the cards to guide your decision. Asking how you could encourage your mother-in-law to move out, as opposed to asking how you can get along better with her, is narrowing the scope of the true question by answering it before you even get started.
đź Details:Â Your question should be focused, but not overly detailed. Rather than looking at one particular aspect of a problem, find a way to look more broadly at it. For example, rather than asking how you can make your home life less chaotic, ask how you can better balance work schedules and school schedules. That is a focused question. But do not go so far as to ask how you can coordinate baseball, soccer and karate schedules and still have family time â thatâs too detailed. Only include the minimum level of detail needed in order to express what you want to learn from the cards.
đź Focus on Yourself:Â If the reading is for yourself, make sure your question focuses on you rather than on someone else who you think may be the root of your problem. If youâre wanting to help someone, for example, ask about what you can do to help them.
đź Stay Neutral: Basically be unbiased. Donât come off with the notion that your POV is the ârightâ one. Asking why youâre always the one getting yelled at between you and your parent(s) isnât neutral; instead, ask how you can prevent future arguments with your parent(s). Thatâs neutral!
đź Be Positive: When it comes to Tarot, and anything really, youâll want to always try to be positive. Instead of asking why a specific event didnât happen, ask about what you can do to make that event happen. Positivity is always great!
These are also known as âGeneralâ readings. They address the larger aspects of life rather than a question or a specific area. Iâve found that Past, Present, Future readings are very popular since it talks about peopleâs lives. Theyâre always eager to see if the cards can truly tell about their life! You can also direct the General readings towards a basic âgenreâ. Career, Health, Finances, Love, etc.
There are many varieties of Tarot decks, and there is no standard number of cards across all decks. While the types of cards, the suits and their meanings are the same, the illustrations vary greatly. Decks are based on various themes such as nature, animals, fantasy, dragons, etc.
When it comes to finding a deck of your own, donât just choose one based on the design. Focus on the connection between you and your future tool, your future guide. I have the Tarot Draconis Deck that called to me. Itâs a beautiful dragon based deck that has connected with me. The bond we have today is inseparable!
I say âbondâ because each deck has itâs own personality. Thatâs why Tarot readers do interview âspreadsâ to help them get to know their decks a bit better. Iâll explain spreads more thoroughly later on in this post. When it comes to their personalities, some decks are blunt, some are meant for giving other people readings and others could be laid back.
When you look through a Tarot Deck, there will be two different sets of cards: Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. Letâs look at the Minor Arcana first. Youâll find that like regular playing cards there are four suits; however, instead of hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs there are Wands, Pentacles (Circles), Cups (Chalices), and Swords. Each of these represents an element.
Each suit has meaning regarding a specific approach to life. The cards within these suits are numbered one through 10 and also include the court cards â the king, queen, knight and page (knave). The Minor Arcana cards represent the more minor, practical daily ups and downs in life.
The Major Arcana are not associated with the suits. They include the picture cards that represent principles, concepts and ideals. They are numbered one through 21, with the 22nd card (the âFoolâ) marked as zero. The Major Arcana cards represent strong, long-term energy or big events in some area of life.
As I stated before, each of the Suits represents an element. Letâs talk about each one and break down what they mean, as well as the cards within them. Then weâll move on to the Major Arcana!
When it comes to the different cards, there are negatives and positives. When a card is upside-down, the term being âreversedâ, then it represents negative attributes of that card. When itâs upright then it represents positive attributes.
For myself, I donât read reverse cards. I base it on my intuition. Iâll explain how your intuition is used with tarot later on in this post.
đ±Also known as Coins, Disks, or Circles.
đ±Represents the element Earth.
đ±Covers material aspects of life including work, business, trade, property, money and other material possessions.
đ± Pentacles deal with the physical or external level of consciousness and thus mirror the outer situations of your health, finances, work, and creativity. They have to do with what we make of our outer surroundings â how we create it, shape it, transform it and grow it.
đ± On a more esoteric level, Pentacles are associated with the ego, self-esteem and self-image.
đ± The positive aspects of the Suit of Pentacles include manifestation, realization, proof and prosperity.
đ± The negative aspects of the Suit of Pentacles (i.e. when the Pentacles cards appear reversed) include being possessive, greedy and overly materialistic, over-indulging and not exercising, not effectively managing oneâs finances, and being overly focused on career to the detriment of other life priorities.
Often what is required to counteract these negative aspects is a return to nature to ground oneself and rediscover what is truly important. In addition, there may be blockages in being able to manifest ideas and plans resulting in a lack of success. Better goal-setting and planning is required.
đ± When referring to timing in a Tarot reading, the Suit of Pentacles traditionally represents Winter or years.

đź - If a Tarot reading is predominantly made up of the Minor Arcana Tarot cards, you are dealing with day-to-day issues which will not necessarily having a lasting influence on your life.Â
These issues are passing through, presenting you with an opportunity to learn from these experiences (look to any Major Arcana cards to identify and understand these lessons and how they may impact your life in the long-term).
The Major Arcana Tarot cards (also known as the trump cards) form the foundation of the Tarot deck and consists of twenty-one numbered cards and one unnumbered card (the Fool).

Now that weâve talked about the Minor and Major Arcanas, letâs talk about Tarot spreads! Before any Tarot reader does a reading, they shuffle their cards. This allows them to transfer their energy into the deck.
Once the cards are shuffled and the deck has been cut, the reader lays out the cards in a pattern called the spread. Each position in the spread has a meaning, and there are many different types of spreads, ranging from those that incorporate a single card to spreads that include all 78 cards of the deck. Which spread is used is up to the reader and the specific type of question or reading. Some spreads focus more on a specific type of information. For example, one spread might focus more on emotional matters, while another might bring in more information about the influences of others. One of the most common spreads is the Celtic Cross.
Once the cards are laid out, their meanings are interpreted based on their positions and their neighboring cards. Letâs look at the Celtic Cross spread:
Begin by looking at the Circle/Cross section. The cards in this position represent what is happening in your life at the time of the reading.
Next, look at the first six cards in pairs. These cards paint a picture of your immediate situation. The cards in position 1 (the central issue) and position 2 (the secondary issue that can either be opposing or reinforcing) will identify the central theme of the reading. The cards in position 3 (the root cause that can be an unconscious influence or deeper meaning) and position 5 (your attitudes and beliefs, a conscious influence, your goal or an alternate future) represent things that are going on within you at different levels. And, the cards in position 4 (your past, a receding influence or something that has been resolved) and position 6 (the future or an approaching influence or unresolved factor) represent how people and events are flowing through your life.
Next, look at the Staff section of the spread, again considering cards in pairs. Looking at the cards in position 7 (as you are, as you could be, as you present yourself and as you see yourself) and position 8 (your outside environment, someone elseâs point of view and you as others see you) tells you about your relationship with your environment.
Finally, look at the card in position 10 (the outcome-overall, your inner state, your actions or effects) to see the projected outcome.
Ask yourself how you feel about the projected outcome. What does it say to you?
Go back and review the cards that led up to that outcome, and see if there is a card that stands out as they key to that outcome. Then, look back at card 5 to see if the projected outcome is also shown as an alternate outcome there. Look at the card representing the near future in position 6 to see if it supports or contributes to the projected outcome. Finally, look at the card in position 9 (guidance, key factors, hopes and fears or overlooked factors) to see there is any relevance there.
This is one of many different spreads. You can even make your own spreads! Ultimately, start small and learn as you go. Spreads are very easy once you get the hang of it.
Last but certainly not least, weâre going to talk about Intuition!
What is intuition? A thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.
When it comes to Tarot cards, and giving out readings or doing one for yourself, intuition is key. Witchcraft in general involves intuition 9 times out of 10! For example, when I do my readings for people, I donât just go by what the cards mean. I trust my intuition about what it means, with my gut feeling. If I feel itâs something to do with family, I go with it. If it has something to do with an important event coming up in the future, I trust it.
You may not get it down right away, and thatâs perfectly okay! Itâll take some time to get it down pat. Just donât forget to listen to your gut!
There you go! I hope this Master Post helps you guys learn a little more about Tarot. Iâll be posting another one later for in-depth descriptions of all the cards!
Brightest blessings!

I enjoy journaling. Itâs almost like therapy, but youâre figuring it out by yourself. Youâre trying to figure out your own issues by putting it on paper, sometimes itâs for self reflecting or for figuring yourself out. This is very similar to shadow work.Â
What is shadow work?Â
Shadow work is addressing your shadow self, the side of you that you bury deep down and avoid. Itâs your unconscious mind, and it is important to uncover this side of you in order to achieve your highest self. There are multiple ways to do this, but the most known (and most effective in my opinion), is journaling. I thought I should share 100 prompts that really make you think.Â
1. What was one time you remember feeling wronged as a child? How did you react? Has this affected you into adulthood? How?
2. Think about one time where youâve felt betrayed. What would you say to the person who broke your trust?
3. Write about a time you felt let down by someone youâd previously looked up to.
4. Whatâs one trait you see in other people that you wish you had. Why do you not possess this characteristic yourself?
5. Do you often find yourself over-thinking what youâve said or how youâve acted? What usually triggers this?
6. What were your parentsâ/guardiansâ core values while you were growing up? Do you hold these today or do they differ? How so?
7. What are your core values as a human being? Whatâs the most important to you? What are you morally passionate about?
8. What tends to trigger envy for you? Why do you think this is?
9. What are the first signs that your mental health is dipping?
10. When are you hardest on yourself? Why? Where do you think this stems for? Why do you put yourself under so much pressure? Why are you so reluctant to be kind to yourself?
11. How do you react when youâre angry? Is this similar to other people who have been in your life since childhood? Why do you think this is?
12. What triggers you? Can you identify where this came from?
13. How do you perceive failure? What is your definition of failure? How does it make you feel? Are you afraid of it? Why might this be? How did your parents/guardians react to failure?
14. What situations make you feel less than or not good enough? Why do you think this is?
15. What is your relationship with your parents and/or siblings like? How was it as a child compared to now? Why do you think this is?
16. What parts of your parents/guardians growing up do you see in yourself now? When did these begin to become apparent?
17. What toxic traits have you recognised in your parents? How did it make you feel when you realized that your parents werenât perfect? Do you also possess these traits yourself?
18. What are your toxic traits? How do these present themselves? How do you project these onto others?
19. What aspects of yourself would you like to improve? Why? Has anyone in your past ever made comments suggesting that you should? If so, how did this make you feel?
20. How do you feel about who you are as a human? Why?
21. How often do you forgive yourself? What kind of things do you feel you need to be forgiven for? Why is this?
22. Write about a time where you messed up and needed forgiveness. Did you ask to be forgiven? Did you apologize? How did it play out?
23. Do you form obsessive or unhealthy attachments easily? Why do you think this might be; do you have a fear of change/abandonment/rejection? Or, on the other hand, do you find it difficult to form emotional attachments; do you struggle with commitment or get restless staying in one place for a certain amount of time? Shadow Work Prompt #1
đȘ Topic - Childhood Trauma & emotional/physical isolation
đ Q1 What triggers you to seek isolation?
1a Can you think of any memories where you were taught to self isolate or shamed for an emotional response?
2a Was it safe for you to express your emotions openly as a child?
đ Q2 What adult did you feel comfortable around if any at all? What actions did this adult take to establish an environment where you could express yourself? If none, when was a moment you felt safe being seen & heard?
đ Q3 Why do you Isolate? Do you find yourself isolating even when itâs the last thing you want?
1a were you made to feel like a burden, or as if you were ridiculous or dramatic for your emotions growing up?
2a Are you comfortable with emotional comfort/support & validation when you are feeling this way?
3a How can people best approach you in moments of distress like this? Do you struggle with feelings of disgust towards support from your loved ones when you are isolating?
đ Q4 To take Q3 -3a a little deeper, have you dealt with intense shame & embarrassment when trusting others with your emotions? Perhaps someone you trusted most took advantage of your vulnerability and used it to hurt you? Do you think this could be linked to any of the disgust you feel?
đ Q5 touching on Q2, how can you recreate these environments for yourself? Even if you arenât ready for support from others. How can you lovingly support yourself?
âšThe way the adults treat us growing up affects everything about our lives. Sometimes we donât realize the depths of our childhood wounds.âš
Isolation can be tempting, and itâs not easy to walk away from. If youâre not ready yet thatâs okay, letâs think about how we can turn isolation into self care. Feeling emotionally defeated, overwhelmed, or having a straight up mental breakdown? Run a bath if you have one, put some shampoo in there for bubbles. Next time youâre at dollar tree and have a few extra bucks grab some face masks and fuzzy socks & a bath bomb. Put it all in a drawer grab them when you need them. Take the time to de-escalate your emotions and instead of isolation and self hatred letâs take physical and mental care of ourselves.
Letâs think about some coping mechanisms we can use:
(Note: sometimes coping mechanisms arenât easy to use, be patient with yourself. Breaking cycles like this is HARD and very personal; have empathy for yourself.)
Some coping methods ive used in place of tw self harming
đ Take a thick notebook and a pen, use the pen in a scribbling motion to rip right through the papers. It has a similar feeling to cutting & can relieve some of the physical stress.
đ Itâs not perfect, but scratching pillows / your bed can also help relieve some of the physical build up.
Need to talk to someone but arenât comfortable ?
đ I personally am not a huge fan of journaling, while I do enjoy it at times in moments of extreme distress journaling isnât always the best option for me. I have a hard time organizing my thoughts; and get overwhelmed easily. So I record myself venting, I cry, scream, yell, get it all out.
đ Perhaps write a letter to your inner child, or even yourself now. Detail how you feel, and support yourself. Lift yourself up, remind yourself of all you have accomplished no matter how minuscule it feels to you. Remember who you were last year and look at now, what improvements have you made? Where have you slacked? List out how you can improve these habits & begin breaking out of the cycles that no longer serve you.
I offer shadow work readings, anywhere from 10-45$ depending on the topic & length.

Itâs natural for tarot cards to accumulate & harbor energy, since that is the primary force they operate through; it can âclogâ or ârestrainâ them, making them rather unproductive, though it doesnât damage them. They simply need to rest and be refreshed every now & then, just like the reader does.
I suggest trying all of them out & sticking to the ones that work for you.
Shuffling Simply shuffle the deck with the intention of cleansing it, in whatever way thatâs most comfortable for you & for as long as you feel you need to.
Sorting Sort the cards â arrange them in order of the 22 Major Arcana and 4 suits of the 56 Minor Arcana. Allow the deck to ârestâ in proper sequence for a while. You could also simply sort the cards so that all are upright & none reversed.
Knocking Tap the deck against something, or tap it with your hands / another object.
Sunlight (This method is better for projective/masculine decks.) Place the deck in sunlight and leave it there until you feel that all the unwanted energy has been burned, faded, blinded, or driven out.
Moonlight (This method is better for receptive/feminine decks.) Place the deck in moonlight and leave it there until you feel that all the unwanted energy has been drained, coaxed, flushed, or guided out.
Salt Place the deck in a sealed, air-tight plastic bag and bury it in organic salt. Let the salt soak up the excess energy for a few days, or until you feel itâs done.
Crystals Place a crystal that corresponds to your intention upon the deck, or somewhere near it. You could also form a crystal grid around it.
Smoke Pass the deck through the smoke of incense or burning plants that correspond to your intention (most people would use dried sage or rosemary).
Pendulums Swing a pendulum of your choice clockwise in circular motions above or on the surface around the deck with your intention in mind until you feel that all the unwanted energy has been drawn out & expelled.
Sound Play any instrument with your intention in mind, or place the deck near a speaker and play music that corresponds to your intention.
*You can also cleanse each card individually rather than the whole deck at once, if you prefer. It takes longer but itâs more thorough &Â âintimateâ
After cleansing your deck, store it in a special box/bag/cloth and/or with a quartz crystal to protect and generally upkeep its clean state.
Simple tip:Â cleanse your deck every time you use it. This is the easiest way to maintain a healthy deck, & the ritual of it can improve your general relationship with the cards as well as your connection with them in the moment.
Other good opportunities to cleanse your deck: - Itâs brand-new / inherited / borrowed / secondhand - Another person has come into contact with it (especially if it was without your permission â the deck will let you know if itâs been meddled with) - It has come into direct contact with a surface or object you didnât want it to (this mainly applies to the tarot readers who take extra precautions to preserve the energetic integrity of their deck â such as only laying the cards on a designated cloth/mat/board, not allowing others to touch them, etc) - It has come into direct contact with another deck - It hasnât been used for a long period of time - Itâs been accidentally scattered/messed up/physically damaged - Many different readings have been performed with it - An extensive/intense reading has been performed with it
Symptoms of a deck that needs to be cleansed: - An irregularly large amount of cards drawn in a reading are reversed - An irregularly large amount of cards are falling or popping out of the deck while you shuffle & handle it in general / the deck wonât stay together - The readings are becoming unclear, or youâre having an unnecessarily difficult time interpreting & discerning their meaning; youâre getting mixed messages, the cards arenât cohesive, and so on. If you feel like youâre not gaining anything out of the readings you do with a deck, you need to cleanse it. - You get the sense that you need to cleanse the deck. This could manifest in many different ways; perhaps you feel bored of the deck or distant from it, or perhaps its âpersonalityâ changes, or perhaps you simply feel off about it. Common âoffâ feelings are slowness or lethargy, disengagement, bitterness, exhaustion, a sense of a contrary or combative disposition, misplaced irony, dullness or hollowness, strain, stress, aggravation, confusion, or alienation, and may come from either you or the deck itself when you interact with it. - You canât bring yourself to focus on the readings you do with it; neither you nor the deck can maintain your concentration / awareness / full presence. - You consistently lose and misplace the deck or you canât find it when you want to use it â or other people have moved it, even just once. If you donât give it a spot and it tends to wander around your house, that may translate into your cards. Cleanse them and pick a permanent/regular place to keep them. - The deck loses its âmagicâ and begins to feel like plain paper to you - Using the deck consistently drains, frustrates, upsets, or annoys you / using it no longer brings you whatever beneficial quality it usually does.
my masterposts always blow up and i have fun making them, so lets go for round three boys. tried to mix this one up by adding in pdf books, videos and non-tumblr links.
