“I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you!”

They all ran, his screams attracting the zombies by the library as he glare at the boy who remain perched atop of the bookshelf.

As soon as he returned, most of his memories were wiped out of his head, they all became vague and gray, it felt like he was forgetting something important.

What is it?

He let out a grunt, pushing away a zombie that was busy clattering it's teeth like a damn fool. Cheong-san be damned, he's too busy trying to scratch out that very something that gnaws him at the very core.

Aarghh! What the fuck is it?!

He racked his brain, scratching it to bad as if it will get him to remember what it is until he— with his senses heightened because of the infection, smell something.

Something familiar.

It was a scent that he seems to be longing.

Frowning, he walk leisurely with his hands on his pockets, taking all the time he wants while looking around his surroundings, bumping and smashing zombie's along his way. He is God. There was no plausible explanation as to why he isn't—why he was chosen. Aahh, this is life.

Gwi-nam slide open a classroom door, raising a brow at the one mindless undead who's scratching a wall. Fuck that damn bitch looks so stupid.

One sniff.

He turns his head to look at the teacher's desk that has been closed off with some tables and a few chairs.

A small cry.

Though not audible by human ears, Gwi-nam who has been ‘blessed’ to be immune to the virus, gaining a more powerful sense of hearing, managed to hear it.

He stops right in front of the desk, peeking underneath to see a trembling girl, legs close to her chest and dripping in blood, sweat and tears. Quite literally. “Hmm..?”

At his voice, you looked up, eyes widen at recognition of whom it was.

Those eyes and gaze that sends Gwi-nam back made him remember you—ah, God, thank goodness you are alright. He crouched down, pressing a finger to his lips before opening his arms for you.

“y/n-ah.” He calls your name, it tickles his body.

You slowly hugged him, still terrified and wary. You're safe, his precious y/n. he cradles you in his arms, his skin searing with your warmth like fire. Gwi-nam presses his lips on your crown whilst his hand rubbed your back up and down to provide comfort. There was an uncomfortable silence as he relish you in his hold once again.

He then pulls you two apart, brushing away the locks that sticks to your face to get a better look at you. “Were you hurt?” But you shook your head.

Grnnk!

Grnnnk!

Ah, because of the moment of stillness, he seemed to have forgotten that there was a company with the two of you. “I'll protect you from now on, okay?” He breathes, your face cupped in his hands, nose red and eyes puffy from crying. Oh for crying out loud, you're so fucking adorable that he swore he'll go balistic if something ever happens to you.

“Stop that.”

“What?” You voice came out as a whisper, lips parting and your brows knit. That melodic sound that drags him like a helpless sailor to a siren.

He won't mind being helpless, as long as it is you whom he has.

“Being so fucking irresistible.” A smirk was displayed on his face before pressing his lips against yours. Just because this place is an apocalypse doesn't mean that Gwi-nam won't take any opportunity to flirt with you.

Who dares fucking oppose their own God?

He parts, breathless and satisfied, “From now on, you stick with me, alright? You don't wanna be a zombie food, yeah?” He grips your jaw, pulling you in once again to lock lips.

“Don't you worry your pretty little head, babe. I'll kill anyone who dares touch you.” Gwi-nam held your hands, pulling you up to stand. Disbelief was written in your face, he can tell, and the only way to dust that off is a proof

And the clatter of the chairs that he pushed made the zombie aware of his and your presence, the scent of human making the undead crazy as it lunches towards you but Gwi-nam grabbed it's neck and cracked it, throwing it at the floor as he threw a smug grin to your direction.

“Don't worry, pretty girl, I'll take care of you.”

He grabs your hips, leaning down to press a gentle kiss on your cheek. “Let's go find something for you to eat along with a new room. Aish, you better be thankful to me. I expect another kiss later as payment, alright?”

Everything about him screams danger but it didn't matter, because you knew, if Gwi-nam would do something bad to you, he would've done so in the past years already.

"There you are." Gwi nam looked so scary and you knew at that exact moment how fucked up you were. He was no longer just a human, but a monster too. "It was pretty cool playing hide and seek, but that's enough now, don't you think?"

"Fuck you, I'll kill you if you come near me!" you raised the pocketknife in your hand threateningly, although you were trembling a little. Gui Nam's lips curved slightly in a mischievous smile.

"Silly girl, you can't kill me," his voice contained an explicit malicious tone, full of promises of the things he could and would do to you from now on. "Behave yourself and I won't hurt you. Otherwise, it will be much worse."

Hambie | Gwi-Nam x Reader

“Dae-Su, what the hell is a Hambie???”

“Oh, you know, a half-zombie.”

“What the fuck.. How did you even come up with that, dude?” Y/N laughed at Dae-Su, in which he responded back with a chuckle.

“Shit. I’m so bored.” Y/N said and everyone agreed with her.

She looked at Hyo-Ryong and Ji-Min chatting, she became sad because she technically wasn’t friends with anyone in the room, except Gyeong-Su, and well, he’s gone. She never really talked to Dae-Su or Cheong-San.

She stood up from her chair and looked out the window. Zombies were just tripping over each other which made her laugh. The other kids just looked at her like she was insane. How could anyone laugh in this situation? She has a dark sense of humor. She was about to tell Gyeong-su to come look but then she remembered, again. He’s gone. She looked away from the window and sunk down the wall.

She swore if Na-Yeon happens to survive this, she’d kill her herself.

With her knees to pulled to her chest, she began to cry.

She wiped the falling tears and stood up, “Who has a backpack?”

Everyone looked at her, “I do.” Hyo-Ryung says, “Why?”

“Because, I’m hungry, I’m sure everyone else is hungry. Since we can’t even get in that closet. I’m gonna go look for food for us.”

“Why are you insane?? You’ll die out there!” On-Jo shook her head in disbelief.

“And? I’ve got nothing else to live for.” Y/N shrugged and walked over to Hyo-Ryung.

Hyo-Ryung hands her the empty bag then hugs her, “I know we aren’t friends but good luck, please return safely.”

Y/N nods and heads out the window.

“Shit! Shit! Shit!” Zombies chased after Y/N, even falling atop one another, trying to get through the cramped hallway.

Meanwhile, Gwi-Nam was asleep in a room that was empty.

Y/N becomes tired quickly, readjusting the straps on her shoulders.

She decides to look back, seeing maybe 20-30 zombies chasing after her, “fuck this,” she runs into the closest room and slams the door closed.

“Yah! Who are you?” Y/N froze when she heard an unknown voice. Seeing a broom next to her, she grabs it, and starts hitting whatever just talked.

Gwi-Nam was already getting aggravated, he grabs the broom from her, snaps it in half on his leg then throws it across the room.

Y/N is then pushed the against the wall. “Who. The. Fuck. Are. You?” He demanded.

Y/N gave him her infamous resting bitchface, “Get the fuck off me, you fucking stink.” She pushes him off of her.

Realization suddenly hit her, “Wait a minute, Gwi???”

She grabbed the bloody hambie and pulled him to her, “Oh my god, you’re okay.”

Gwi-Nam realized it was Y/N, “I wouldn’t say I’m okay, I’m fantastic. I’m a god.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I was bit, but I’m alive, sweetheart.” He let go of Y/N.

“A hambie!” Y/N laughed.

Gwi-Nam just deadpanned at her, “What the fuck.”
