Coldplay’s “The Scientist” except it’s 2023 and it’s playing on the crappy radio in your lab while you nurse a mug of coffee and try to forget about the looming apocalypse, and there are experiments to do but you just need a few minutes to breath and listen to the steady sound of your labmate writing equations on his chalkboards, and you’re a little bit in love with him and a little bit in love with monsters at the end of the world.
I want to watch a lab tour video by Newt where he is rambling/pacing between sections rapidly (without finishing his current train of thought) because he is overflowing with enthusiasm to show us what is next.

If pacrim were made in this day and age, Newt would be a Kaijiu stan instead of a kaijiu groupie. Imagine Hermann calling him that. It sounds so much worse than groupie xDDD

One day I got artblock, then I asked one of my drawing inspirer (a good guy, draws a lot, and always great) on how to overcome it. He said “try looking at different perspective!”
and so I did.

My drawings are actually has been influenced by Waki Yamato’s overly dramatic scenes, especially the flowery backgrounds and tendencies to draw every single strands of hair. But if you look again, my drawing style is not really that much of a Waki Yamato’s. Only the flower thingy stuff.
I’m currently reading The Tale of Genji (1988), one of her notable works. My sister bought a used set. Boy, that is hard to read (still reading!) but really, she’s really great in drawing gestures, small details, and of course: FLOWERS!
