Itβs that time of year again, listing to an outrageous amounts of true crime while cramming Christmas presents so I can send them out in time
I got some ponies when thrifting! Newer pony hair is notorious for being hard to deal with. Overall I think I'm quite proud of myself. (β ββ β’β α΄β β’β ββ )π©·

I love the lace on these dresses, and when I remembered that I had fabric with baby ducks and turtles on it I couldn't resist making a dress out of it. π’

The doll is made of light and dark brown felt for the body and hair, with an embroidered face. The first dress is Light blue with pink and white flowers on it and a pink and white lace raffle. The second dress is baby blue with bubbles, green turtles, and yellow ducklings on it. End ID]
These are the second two dresses I made for my doll. It took me awhile to make a pattern that actually worked for making doll dresses with a bit of help from friend I was able to perfect this pattern. π [Image ID: Two pictures of the same handmade, felt doll of Carla Delgado from Elena of Avalor, wearing different dresses. The doll is made of light and dark brown felt for the body and hair, with an embroidered face. The first dress is black with bits of gold and purple on it and a big red flower in the middle. The second dress is white with pale pink and blue flowers. End ID]
This is a doll I made of Carla Delgado, back in March 2020, out of felt, thread, and patterns I designed.Β I designed her hair so that I can put different braided yarn through to match the different dresses I made for her. These are the first two dresses I made for her! π

I thrifted a Miraculous Ladybug doll! I was hesitant to buy one full price without knowing what their joints were like.
She has similar articulation to a Liv doll in her arms and legs, but is unfortunately missing ankle joints and her hands can only turn. Luckily, her slightly heeled feet means she can wear a variety of larger-than-barbie shoes.
I'm not sure what to do with her yet, since her mask is molded onto her face instead of just painted on. I'm a sucker for blue hair, though. Maybe a robot custom? Hmm...
Her balance is not as great as it looks. It took several minutes and multiple surfaces to stand on one leg.
Please ignore the bowls of doll heads waiting to be washed/shrunk for doll science.
