Right after we crushed the bar (S3E10 Scarvey flashback moments)

**Harvard, 1997 – The Day of the Bar Exam** Harvey Specter leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms behind his head. The dim Harvard dorm light flickered slightly, casting a soft glow over the room littered with outlines, casebooks, and half-eaten takeout boxes. Across from him, **Scottie** sat cross-legged on his bed, flipping through a thick **New York Bar Exam review book** with an air of focus that only she could maintain at 3 AM. “You know,” Harvey smirked, tossing a stress ball in the air, “I don’t think I’ve studied this much for anything in my life.” Scottie **arched an eyebrow**, eyes still scanning the page. “That explains why I’m the one keeping you from bombing this thing.” Harvey scoffed. “Please, I’ve carried our study sessions.” Scottie finally looked up, amusement flickering in her eyes. “Oh really? Who’s the one who explained the Rule Against Perpetuities to you without you throwing a book across the room?” “First of all, that rule is dumb. Second, I would’ve figured it out eventually.” Scottie smirked, flipping a page. “Sure, Specter. And pigs might pass the bar before you do.” Harvey rolled his eyes but **grinned**. Their entire law school experience had been like this—a back-and-forth rhythm of **competition, sarcasm, and undeniable chemistry**. #### **Exam Day – Morning** The sun had barely risen when they stepped outside, dressed sharply but with an underlying **nervous energy** neither would admit to. Harvey held two **large coffees**—one black for him, one with a splash of milk for Scottie. She took it with a nod. “You’re learning.” “Don’t get used to it.” They walked toward the exam hall, surrounded by hundreds of other **soon-to-be lawyers** who all looked equally stressed. As they reached the entrance, Scottie turned to Harvey, suddenly serious. “We got this, right?” Harvey didn’t hesitate. “Hell yeah, we do.” She gave him a rare, genuine smile before nudging his arm. “If you don’t, I’m never letting you forget it.” #### **Post-Exam Celebration** Hours later, they **walked out**, exhaustion clashing with relief. Harvey loosened his tie while Scottie ran a hand through her hair. “That was brutal,” she exhaled. Harvey smirked. “I blacked out somewhere around the essay questions. Pretty sure I invented a new precedent.” Scottie **laughed**, her first real laugh of the day. “We crushed it.” “You mean *I* crushed it.” “Harvey, you used to think ‘Mens Rea’ was a fancy Italian dish.” Harvey scoffed. “Lies. Also, speaking of food, I say we celebrate with a meal. **Homemade.**” Scottie **blinked**. “You? Cook?” “I’ll have you know I’m a man of many talents.” Scottie smirked. “Fine. But if it sucks, you’re never hearing the end of it.” Harvey held the door open for her, flashing his signature grin. “Wouldn’t have it any other way.” And that night, in a tiny Boston apartment, **Harvey Specter and Dana Scott made their first meal together**, still high on the rush of crushing the Bar Exam.

Why do students look for law assignment help?

Why Do Students Look For Law Assignment Help?

Law courses demand significant reading and learning to pass tests and complete assignments successfully. Students face immense pressure while mastering various laws and statutes across different law topics such as criminal law, civil law, property law, and constitutional law, among others. The teaching methods employed by law schools add to the challenge. The Case Method, for instance, requires students to analyze a wide array of case proceedings and appellate level judicial opinions. This involves hours of reading and analysis to grasp the minutest details of each case. Additionally, the Socratic Method, where teachers evaluate students’ understanding by asking specific case-related questions in class, adds further pressure.

Kind reminder that a degree will not get up one day and leave you, cheat on you, cut your funds, disrespect you or assault you. A degree will be worth a thousand sleepless nights and rivers of tears, because in the end it does matter more than anything else. A degree will make you an independent and undefeated woman, so stop belittling the importance of education nowadays. Every woman who studies is a woman who is ensuring a greater future for all women.

Academic advices from a (non american) law student.

Premise: I feel the urge to underline the fact that I am not American nor attend any university in America due to the fact that most tips and tricks I found, coming from Americans, were scarce in terms of concrete application. If you found them to be useful, then I am more than glad. All I wish to do is to share different experiences and approaches to the university world that are maybe differing from the usual content.

I. “Time restricted” spaced repetition: the great majority of the subject in my curriculum are quite complex and portray a large number of complex topics, Latin terms, and regulations that are specific. What I suggest here is to write down in a fun colour (to me it is red) the words, terms, names and phrases that are difficult for you to remember. We are not born all knowing, and some terms can be, at first glance, peculiar or unusual. That is completely normal. Therefore, write down anything that you may struggle to remember and every day, you do your best to recall those specific terms, and over the span of even two days you will most likely incorporate even the most difficult words.

II. Repeat out loud: in my university, we do not have written exams. Therefore, practicing your speech for the exam is fundamental for us. However, even if your exams are not oral, explaining out loud subjects helps you remember them better (even if you give a look to your notes from time to time). Do this from day one of preparation. My favourite way of doing so is to repeat everything when outside, while on a walk or at a cafe.

III. Mental connections: chances are, some topics will be repeated in different ways in the same subject. For instance, the concept of inter-subjective laws was discussed three times in this one course, and each time a different aspect was discussed. What I am suggesting is that, when a particular topic or word comes up often, you force yourself to do two things: first, you do a repetition exercise in which you repeat where and when was that topic already mentioned, and second, you differentiate between the two. Why are they different, how are they different and in what ways they are similar.

IV. During the lectures: our professors do not record lectures, nor do they use any platform to “stream” them. If it is possible for you, attend the lectures! Take careful notes and correct them right away, after the lectures has finished! Ask those questions, no matter how “silly” they may be! The professor is right there for you, so you might as well use the opportunity to enrich your knowledge.

V. The notes: print them. Not only will your eyes thank you, but I find studying from paper more effective and it is easier to focus. Call me a grandma, but that is the truth. And if correcting some parts is the reason you prefer digital, try to simply cover the parts tg at you wish to rewrite eight plain paper and write the correction on it. This way the topic will be easier to be remembered.

VI. Audiobook: this may sound unusual, but listening to your notes can be quite beneficial. Due to me being a student, I have free access to the Microsoft package: world has this “read aloud” feature, and I play the audio during the night. The subconscious mind is much more powerful than what you may think of it.

VII. Grades: obviously we all aim for the greatest grades, but often the way we are graded may be out of your control. Sometimes you may get sick right before the exam, sometimes the examiner may be irritated and got up already upset with the world, sometimes we could have given better performances. It happens, and it will inevitably make you feel awful and out of place: please, remember to be kind and gentle with yourself. It will be better the next time, but in that moment remember that you are never alone. If you do not wish to talk it out with someone, ask ChatGPT. It really gives comfort and great advices in moments of frustration and disappointment. Do not ruin your life for a temporary moment.

Taking breaks is also being productive

Studying constantly only leads to burnout. Go take a walk. Feed some ducks. Admire a pretty building. Try to cook something new.

You might feel guilty at first, but nothing in excess is ever good, not even studying.

Dont forget to live life

You Are Smarter Than You Feel And You Know More Than You Think.

You are smarter than you feel and you know more than you think.

Always while studying or right before an exam i feel like i don't know anything, my thoughts are all jumbled and I can't find a straight answer for a question i ask myself for funsies.

That's ok.

I've come to know that, despite feeling like i don't know anything, i hold all the necessary information. When it counts, when you have a specific problem right in front of you, you will know the answer.

You sometimes just have to trust yourself.

Just because you have to study to achieve your dreams doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable

College has been a whole process for me. I did not know how to study, i did not know how to put effort into the right things, and most importantly, i did not know how to accept that my actions (or lack of) were the problem.

It took me years, but I've learned to accept that it's ok for me to need to study to be good when it comes to a subject, that college is a place for learning, not for being instantly good at something.

And now i can finally say that, without the subconscious frustration, i truly do enjoy learning new things, studying new subjects, and studying for the sake of knowing more, not just to pass exams.

It takes work, but it's all worth it.

Studying Isn't About Grades, It's About Falling In Love With A Subject.

Studying isn't about grades, it's about falling in love with a subject.

I've officially started my last year of college and have never felt more excited. These years have been a process of learning to love learning new things, but i think I've finally started fully appreciating the opportunity to study subjects that not only interest me, but will also help me in my life and career post-university.

I'm grateful to have professors that are passionate about the courses they teach, I'm grateful for the friends that are just as dedicated to learning as I am, with whom I can always discuss interesting details and debatable theories.

It's a new year and I'm grateful to become a new me.

Exam Season Is Officially Over For Me!
Exam Season Is Officially Over For Me!
Exam Season Is Officially Over For Me!
Exam Season Is Officially Over For Me!

Exam season is officially over for me!

I started studying during the year, trying to stay afloat (towards the end it was a bit too much too soon for me), and when exam season started i tried to be kind to myself.

I never gave up reading fantasy books, watching sports, going out with friends; if i got home late at night, tired after a day of studying out, i just went to bed, even though i could've forced some more studying.

It felt like i could've pushed more, spent more time going over the courses, but it was enough - i prioritized myself, avoided burnout, made studying more enjoyable and it all paid off.

This is me temporarily signing off

- a student who passed all of her exams with flying colors

You can do this too.

And at the end of the day... What matters most is if you felt alive

What is the point of high grades if you went days in a row without feeling the sun on your skin, without hearing the birds and without smelling a flower?

Studying is important. Being prepared for your future is important.

But living is even more so.

Don't forget to cherish the small joys of life

Taking breaks is essential to a productive study session

Take a break. You'll waste more time trying to process information with a tired brain than you'd "waste" taking a brain to clear you mind and help the information settle.

After an exam, I've always found it hard to get right back into studying, even if it's for another course (maybe even worse when doing a big switch between unrelated courses).

I have a golden rule of not studying during exam days - not before the exam (it only makes me more anxious and less focused) and not after the exam (brain is mush at that point).

3/6 exams to go

I highly recommend it.
