Anyway, the context here is that in the movie, Jake tries to convince the banda that they are going to play their show at a specific place, and Jake lies because they are going to a Contry bar (Something that Jake HATES, he's too "Bluesman" to be playing other types of rhythms)

They get angry with him since what they were SUPPOSED to have earned, they had to pay for the beers they drank.

Then, within my selfship lore, he makes a mistake again since they go to another place closer to Ska. Something Jake isn't very socialized with. Annie put him to rehearse with Elwood, And they manage to win over the público.

The pay was not good so Annie made a bet with the manager to get paid what they really earned. But they didn't count on her cheating, Jake was the only one to know.Therefore, he kept the secret quiet.

Extra: Annie nicknamed him "Jay Jay" and has no resentimientos contra él, no matter how sarcastic he is.

Also, I made the drawing on his birthday BUT I FORGOT TO UPLOAD IT ON THAT DAY 🦆🦆🦆💥💥💥
