Paddy Mayne (Jack O'Connell) in SAS: Rogue Heroes Season 2
I was going to read you, Homer or Keats but then I thought, fuck that. I think I used to bore you with it. And you were just being polite.
SAS Rogue Heroes - Season 1 Episode 4
𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬...
I saw sinners (twice)...
I don't even know where to start.
I have so many thoughts swirling through my head at such a rapid speed that I can't control.
it's all a jumbled mess of emotions, think pieces, and of course, possible plots/ideas for fics.
I do plan to watch it a third-fourth-fifth-millionth time the moment I get the chance to, and when I do, the plan is to start posting ... STUFF, idk, some of everything (but nothing is set in stone, though, because y'all know me - my upload speed isn't known for being the fastest in the west🥴).
but until then, send some requests in my inbox for me to look at‼️PLEASE‼️, and in due time, they'll get written.
REAL QUICK BEFORE YOU DO THAT, THO, SOME BOUNDARIES, because as much as i'm usually and typically down for writing whatever/taboo themes, i'm already starting to notice some of y'all cuttin' up and acting a fool sumn' REAL FOUL on here about this movie/these characters...

- NO, I will not do incest or (specifically in this case/fandom) stepcest (other fandoms I write for are free game - minus actual incest ofc - unless I decide to change my mind and state otherwise idk lol).
- speaking of taboo, though, I will do age gaps (nothing illegal, though, get outta here with that). it's vampire media - if you're coming into it expecting a lack of some questionable gaps, then maybe vampirism isn't for you lmao.
- the reader will be black/black-coded a lot of the time (unless requested/specified otherwise, but also, don't get pissy if I turn down something I don't like) (a.k.a., stay out of my inbox if you can't handle the fact that not everything is about/focused on white ppl).
- I can... try to do modern au's ?? won't be very good at them, fair warning, but it definitely helps if you get creative, and i'm always looking for ways to improve my craft :).
- I will write for...
the twins (obvi) stack (elias) & smoke (elijah) (fair warning, though, i'm picky with plotlines - i've never been an MBJ girly, but i'm IN LOVE with these twins personalities and his portrayal of them, so they might be a little hard for me to write sometimes, might not be other times - my apologies🥲🙏🏽).
bo chow (I could be living in the next town over by train, and i'd STILL find a way to get my ass into this man's shop every single day so I could catch a glimpse of this fine babe😻).
remmick (he's a vampire with a sexy southern-irish accent and a sexy face; need I say more😌?).
maybe sammie (preacher boy)?? (😃✋🏽give me something really good to work with, and i'll see what I can do lol).
and NONE OF THE KLAN MEMBERS,,,
without filter, evil lyssa™ ahead,,, 🥰kys🥰 if you're genuinely out here trying to excuse fucking/writing about fucking a literal kkk member. if all it takes is a deep-voiced southern, "hey, baby" for your morals to escape you, you're a weak minded slut with no backbone, and if you don't like that, get tf up or stay pressed🫶🏽 (notsayingitwasn'tsexyintheheatofthemoment/thewayitwasfilmed, itwas, butagain... STAND UP🗣‼️).
───────── 《 .°•♡•°. 》 ──────────
anyways🥰, with that being said and evil lyssa™ gone, go ahead and rack my inbox up :D !! i'll maybe probably idk be back with some think pieces regarding the movie and its symbolizms/meanings, and some thirst pieces regarding how fine everybody is♡.
'til then, byeeeee /ᐠ^3^マ/ !!
JACK O'CONNELL as REMMICK SINNERS (2025) dir. Ryan Coogler
So I need to babble about a contrast I noticed between two 'cold boys in boats' shows: The Terror and The North Water. So, in The North Water, Jack O'Connell is wonderful as ship's surgeon Patrick Sumner.
But, and this is a regretful but, a decision made by his character/the show's writers just straight up *busted* the show for me. He's supposedly (due to complex backstory reasons) addicted to laudanum/opium. Yet, in the third ep, he apparently decides to send *his whole supply* off with someone else, to somewhere else, and, it being the heckin' arctic, therefore loses it. I remember straight-up pausing the show to go rant to my partner "Is it this bitch's first day as a drug addict? He didn't even keep *any* on his person at all times? Come the heck on!"
Where in The Terror, after three years stuck in ice, this absolute madlad, Mr Blanky, still has his tobacco for his last smoke, on his person, at all times:
And gleefully takes it while waiting for the monsterbear to kill him. *That's* a sailor with an addiction I can believe in!

Most Shocking Movie No.2
Ok I made something. I absolutely love comparisons. The audio is from the rehearsal video. I synchronized the 2 videos so they would sort of match. It’s amazing. I love this scene and love this movie. If you can, go see it now. It’s the best movie that I’ve seen in years. The Irish dance scene clip from the movie is from TikTok. The rehearsal video is also from TikTok, Róisín Davoren posted it. No clue if I can do this but I’ll take it down if asked.
No because that one movie Sinners is coming out soon and once I saw that one possessed white dude or vampire white dude or whatever he is I immediately said “Yeah no I hope white people don’t watch this movie because then they’re going to make it all about him because he’s a medium attractive white man with fangs even though Michael B Jordan is right there” because they always DO
"unracist those motherfuckers" vs what is said about sammie's family's church... i know what you are. how about the themes of colonialism and abusive religion that remmick perpetuates. how about remmick's co-opting of black culture. how about remmick paying no regard to a young and gifted black man's autonomy because he wants his gift to serve him. "i want your stories, i want your music"— i do not think painting remmick as this kumbaya singing advocate of peace and equality was the message in this movie, but showing that racism is not just klansmen who say the hard r and lynch black people (which is essentially what remmick was doing as well). even the music he plays says this— the blending of cultures as sammy transcends time with his music, you see all sorts, but remmick is solely focused on white music, his irish heritage is his only focus in his music. "unracist those motherfuckers" no! he just made them a different form of racist! juxtaposition lol.
also michael b jordan as a blood-soaked sweating shirtless vampire thank u ryan coogler. thank u god.
the comparison of the Irish experience to the Black experience, finding out that Remmick comes from a time when the Irish were colonized... while still acknowledging that he was able to use that privilege to escape the vampire hunters... and the first thing he did was un-racist those fuckers in the home he ran in to.
and the absolute juxtaposition of Sammie escaping the vampire hivemind with his life, only to go back home to the church where he is expected to give up the music of his life to assimilate into his father's church
Ryan fuckin Coogler the man that you are
i'm not going to shut the fuck up about this movie
