How’d you learn how to play the bass…I’m learning and yt tutorials mostly suck , like none of them teach me how to use my fingers on the fret board

hai hai hai hello!!! I taught myself because I played guitar before bass and I think it helped me (BUT DONT GET A GUITAR JUST FOR THIS PURPOSE)

It depends what question you have, like u kinda have to specify because idrk what ur asking. but if your like new new you press your fingertips on the string u w. Anna play between the little metal lines (frets) on the fretboard and that should make a note.

personally I love love love love love playing sharpest lives by my chemical romance, the foundations of decay, demolition lovers, cut up angels, what a catch Donnie, LAX to O'Hare by the academy is..., After the last midtown show, or just stuff that has melody and can be heard over guitar and drums.
