I'm so glad to hear that you like my story! I will tell you that a TON of hard work goes into my writing. As anyone who has been reading "Nine Steps" from the beginning can tell you, I am a slow writer and I have to work at it all the time. Anyway, I truly appreciate that someone likes the hard work I've done writing this thing!

I am happy to report that I will be posting the last chapter of "Nine Steps" this week on May 14th in my timezone which might be May 15th depending on where you are in the world. I hope you like the ending.

LIKE? THATS SO MAV AND GOOSE. Maverick being the one who lost someone dear to him and the only family he’s got, and goose bring the one maverick is mourning.

This part could be like- maybe the court room (??) where they cleared maverick of doing anything wrong, but maybe the spectators could’ve been ice and slider, who are witnessing the fellow aviators grief first hand.

and then we got the final part that really sets it off is: “I don’t want to talk if it makes you feel sad. And I understand, you’ve come to shake my hand. (MAVERICK CONGRATULATING ICEMAN AND SLIDER ON GETTING FIRST) I apologize if it makes you feel bad seeing me so tense, no self confidence (QUITTING TOPGUN???
