Bankita Day (4/3) fic!

This took longer than I expected but BEHOLD I HAVE WRITTEN FLUFF FOR MY BOYS

The thing about only getting to see your boyfriend/husband when you’ve been pulled into a pocket dimension outside of time is that it makes it really hard to plan to do, you know, cute couple stuff. The kind of stuff Minato would’ve normally rolled his eyes at but really likes the idea of doing with Yu.

Like listening to music together, or going to the park, or making him cookies— if they would stop coming out like shit. 

First the first batch has too much flour and crumbles to bits, then he forgets about the oven and overcooks the next batch, and now the batch that survived baking look like a bunch of clowns with their faces melting off because Minato sucks at decorating.

Three dozen cookies in the trash is when Minato decides he needs backup. 

As if sensing his distress— which is entirely possible, given everything— Hamuko shows up. 

“What happened here?” she asks, taking in the destroyed kitchen. 

“I’m trying to make cookies for Yu, but they’re not coming out well.”

“F.”

Ann pulls herself up into a large tree in Shiho’s backyard, and knocks on Shiho’s window.

She’s done this thousands of times before, but this time she’s shaking as Shiho opens the latch and Ann spills into her room.

“Shiho, I-” Ann starts, but she can’t make out the words.

“Ann? Ann what’s wrong, do you need help?” Shiho asks.

Ann stares at her for a second, a thousand thoughts flying through her mind, before settling on “…you don’t know?”

“Shiho? Is something wrong?” Shiho’s mother calls from downstairs.

“D-don’t let them know I’m here!” Ann whispers quickly.

“Just knocked over some books mom, it’s fine!” Shiho responds.

“Alright, just be careful!”

“I will!”

Ann relaxes a bit, slumping against Shiho’s side.

Schuyler Tate Sr, my OC for Sky’s dad!

I think he definitely has a dark side. He’s very cheery and friendly, but that’s an active choice. He pretty much actively represses all negative emotions and prides himself on his self-control. His own father was abusive to him and his mother, so he’d never lay hands on anyone unless it was a last resort. It’s what makes him a good Power Ranger, since he’d never escalate a situation.

There’s one berserk button though. His son. The thought of anything happening to Sky makes him snap like a glowstick, despite his pride in his self-control. He wouldn’t snap at his father for what he did to him, but if he ever came near Sky, he’d black out.
