so I went back and tweaked the design of the Flickory baby from that weird dream AU post yesterday (mostly just editing the colors because that original palette was driving me bonkers). Dream AU background plot where it's everyone else on Vacay Island reacting to the events of the Dream AU

because like. All they know at first is that Bruce had to leave suddenly, he's gone for a few days, and then when he comes back all they know is that he arrived in the middle of the night, he had something with him and he was clearly freaking out about it, and then everyone's concern instantly rockets up to eleven when the resort stays closed that morning due to "family emergency"

speculation starts up. The friend who'd ferried Bruce off the island and back only gives minimal details when pressed, reassures them that it's nothing wrong with Brandy or the kids but that they should all try to give the family some space. Another day passes and they're all relieved to see Brandy down at the resort, but Bruce is still MIA and again Brandy only gives minimal details when pressed, says they've been dealing with a bit of an "unexpected situation" but everything's okay, no need to go around scaring each other.

but of course everyone still worries, life on the island goes on as usual but not without an air of uneasiness at their friend's absence, until one day a couple weeks after this whole mystery started they finally start to get some answers

there's another troll on the island—word spreads that he's apparently Bruce's brother and, awwww, he has a baby with him, that's so sweet?? Mostly the Vacationers are confused, but that doesn't last very long because they all grow pretty fond of the guy not long after. He's shy around them but he's nice, shares in their jokes and is so gentle with the little daughter he seems inseparable from. They help him settle into island life and only briefly mention the fear they all felt when he was first brought here, to which he replies with a nervous chuckle and a timid, "Yeah, sorry about that," even though none of them were looking for an apology
