Leaving school one evening, Rui Yashio accidentally overhears the conversation of some strange unfamiliar girls, and her stable, clearly planned (and lonely) life changes dramatically.

My "magnum opus", my main project, my debut as a writer. There is so few Morfonica fanfiction, so I took action! This is an official account for all the content connected to this work 🦋 I have a story to tell and pictures to show!

Ahhh the Rui defense my beloved

First of all, yes, stop saying Rui is a bitch. Just don't. I think paixarina already made it clear.

In fact, I'm not 100% sure that Rui's main role in the band is to be a critic. Well, it's true, but i just don't see Rui as an 100% "adult, serios, professional and know-it-all" person. She's not a fucking grown-ass businesswoman, she is a 15-16 year old girl who works too hard. It's important to remember that not only Rui helps the band, but the band helps Rui as well. The Morfonica girls talk with Rui kindly and friendly (well, not from the very start, but still), they praise Rui's violin playing, when Rui herself hates it. She thought she had no talent and no future, she was forced to give up her hobby and a friend (the Rinko theory, which I believe in). But then these 4 girls come and show her the other way, the other world where she can be loved and accepted. Isn't it beautiful?

To prove my point, I have some thoughts about Rui's official illustrations, so let's see:

This is the birthday illustration. The interesting things are a butterfly and a road sign. Rui is following tge butterfly, holding a violin in her hand. I think the meaning of this picture is obvious: when Rui found herself at a crossroads, she chose Morfonica. This is the new era of her life, and I'm so happy for her.

Then, another birthday picture. Well, there's not much to talk about, it's just... Rui's facial expression. Why does she look so surprised? Shocked, you can say. I don't know, it just makes me sad. Is Rui so surprised that her birthday was celebrated? Is it new to her that she has friends who give her presents? I remember Rui with this face only twice, and the second time was when Tsukushi told her that she wants to change too. Think about it.

Now let's talk about her smile. It's a treasure to me - so rare, so precious. Fun fact: Rui only smiles when Morfonica girls are around.

In conclusion: Rui slander is stupid, Morfonica are my babies and I will always protect them.

I'm back with Bandori salt and this time, I'm going to defend Rui because I'm tired to Rui slander and how the fandom always demonized her as a ruthless bitch while she is far from that.

People forget that Rui is the reason why Morfonica got character development. Without Rui, Morfonica would unable to recognized their own flaws, unable to improve themselves and fall into argument that could potentially break the band's relationship.

Rui is there to criticized the band's flaws. She is not a bitch. Stop saying her like that. She is there to recognized Morfonica's flaws and tried to improved the band. Watch "An Étude for Fluttering". It proves that RUI DID NOTHING WRONG. SHE IS A CRITIC OF HER OWN BAND. SHE IS NOT A BITCH. SHE IS JUST WANT TO ENCOURAGED THE BAND TO IMPROVED BY CRITICIZING THEM IN CONSTRUCTIVE WAY. Her argument with Touko is an example for that. She criticized Touko's guitar skill and her stubborness to accept her flaws. Criticized person's flaw is NOT being a bitch. It recognized someone's flaws, analyze it and what we are gonna do to fix this flaws.

People are so quick to judge Rui because she is a least emotive person. However, what I hate the most is that people forget that even Rui is least emotive, she actually has a good heart. Her criticism affect Morfonica's development and Morfonica shines because of her. It also parallels what happened to Morfonica when they got a first debut : face criticism during their first debut from the fans.

Rui is not a condescending bitch. She is a stiff person with a heart of gold. Without her, Morfonica would fade in obscurity. The main point of Morfonica arc is to change. If you want to change, recognized your flaws, use that flaws to improved yourself, be open to advice and improved your own skill and Rui is an embodiment of that.

Look!! I made this!!

I'm returning with a big project I've been working on for a week – the cover art for the fanfic! I didn't post anything on tublr for a long time because I had a depressive episode, but now I'm trying to make art again! I'm so happy about how this drawing turned out!

"flame of hope" is a psychological and romance drama about Morfonica – a musical band which has five special members: Mashiro Kurata, who always follows her dreams; Touko Kirigaya, who wants to share her awesomeness with the world; Nanami Hiromachi, who hides her true artistic self to make friends; Tsukushi Futaba, a reliable but underrated older sister; and Rui Yashio, whose family and past hides a few dark secrets. Where their love for music and each other will bring them? We'll see!

So, the 2nd chapter of the main Morfonica story trailer and a new MV teaser dropped, and I want to talk about it.

I will never shut up about how amazing the Morfonica MVs are. The graphics, the facial expressions, the colors, the lightning, the music... *chefs kiss*

As far as I know, Rui is going to quit the band in this story. Ow. That's bad. What confuses me is that there's no explanation WHY Rui wants to do so. It must be her parents, because she said once that "Instead of wasting time on things where you will not be successful, it is better to use time on things that you are confident in. These are the words of my parents, but I think so too" for a reason. I can't say much about the trailer itself, because there's just some japanese text abd the new cards. The new cards are beautiful, of course. When I saw Rui SMILING like THAT i almost fell from my bed, screaming. That's what you need to know about me as a person...

So, about the MV. Finally, fucking finally they showed us Rui's weaknesses and emotions. At the beginning she's playing in the dark void, alone and forgotten. Looks heartbreaking. Just. Just look at her face.

Then we see Tsukushi standing in a colorful pretty forest, but she looks worried. And then, all the light fades out.

But despite being in the dark, stuck and lost, they keep on singing. Sparkling bright butterflies appear, flying forward. The girls watch them fly by, and they look really proud of what they're doing.

And then Mashiro sends these butterflies to Rui with this gesture and face expression.

She's like a force of hope, love and light in this dark and scary place. And she gives all this light to Rui, to make another butterfly, which can fly up to the sky, when Rui can play her violin again. And I just think that's incredible.

It's part 2 of my Morfonica MV's teaser review! If you haven't seen the first one, here it is!

So, back to the talk. I just love this moment where after this Mashiro shot we see Rui, so geniuinely surprised. She looks so innocent. She's nothing like that stiff cold strict image she presented to us at first, can you see it now? She is just a child. And I love that child.

The butterflies, which in my opinion represent the girls' efforts, hopes and dreams, form a new violin for Rui. It looks the same, but feels diffirent. Fun fact: butterfly is the symbol for rebirth.

But there's not only the violin. A new butterfly was born from the others. A small and fragile, but bright spark, which can lead Rui to a happier tomorrow, to a better place.

I can't wait to see the full version of this amazing MV and play this event! I hope you like my textposts, because I wanna make more! I have the idea of a post about their birthday illustrations in mind ;)
