Once you collect a good amount of scenes you can give them a cronological order which represents a grow or progress and they will start to make a plot. You just have to use a little bit of imagination to unite the scenes and VOILA! YOU HAVE A FINISHED FANFIC!

So Sakura starts studying by following Shizune's instructions and reading any book suggestion she can get her hands on. Much like Sasuke being trained by Anko as a bonus for his cursed mark, at first she's still Kakashi's student and only asking for Shizune's help on her free time. (And Naruto at this point is already being taken around on small missions with Jiraya).

Soon enough Shizune decides she's ready for some practice and in no time Sakura starts showing results. That's when she invites Tsunade to take a look at her progress.

Tsunade is quite please and surprised by it, and officially assigns Sakura to train under Shizune (she's hokage she doesn't have all that time, and who's better to pass down her teachings than her own student).

Sakura will also train more taijutsu in the following years (and Tsunade could take some time here and there to give her some tips) so that she's not only in the back waiting for her teammates to get hurt. Sakura wants to fight, she wants to become strong to protect her friends.

I kinda think that that happens because the fandom is kinda 'young' compared to other fandoms, that's why they are most likely to pick up fights But they should grow the fuck up! There's a lot of chemistry among characters, reason enough to ship 'em! (And even if they don't have scenes together, then I will make 'em on my head) If u don't like it then shut up! Ships make people happy, let them be happy!
