i honestly think he'd just look at you funny and beat the shit out of you. then spit on your dead body and leave. unfortunately for him, id just moan

seriously, though? i guess it really depends on how close you are to him. if he's still untrusting of you (which will last for a long time because he's not easy to romance, i imagine), then he'd curl his lip at the idea... and maybe almost pity you. like, seriously. of all people. you want the one man who wants to strangle you like a raggedy ann doll. pick your standards and your deadbeat body off the floor lest he trip on you. where the fuck are the palace maids when you need them?

if he's more accepting of you, then i think it'd send him into a big dilemma. he's not interested in the why's and when's and how's.

I apologize if this has already been asked but I wasn't sure of the answer even after reading all the asks in the archive about the subject, so I thought I'd ask for clarification! Other than Amon's route, is it possible to play as an ace MC that does not have sex with the LIs or is the MC canonically allosexual and will always have sex even if the player decides not to "see / read" the sex scenes (i.e. a fade to black style thing)? Love the game so far, excited to see what y'all do with it after it gets funded (cause let's be real, there's no way it ISN'T getting funded!)

Don't apologize anon! Talking about this is very important and I want the players to know exactly where the game stands on. Also, taking advantage of your ask to also reply to this one:

+18 NSFW sexual content will be STRICTLY OPTIONAL. If it gets funded, Kickstarter Backers will have the option of telling us if they'd like the NSFW chapters to be included in their pledge. These chapters are DLCs that are separated from the full game, so don't worry. You won't have to play through any sexual content if you don't want to.

So, except for Amon, you'll be able to play as a fully asexual MC. There will be options to just say "I don't want to have sex right now" and options to talk to the LIs about the MCs asexuality. You'll also be able to stop the sexual scenes whenever you want, and a special scene will play. You can also skip the scenes if your MC is allosexual but you don't want to see the scenes.

Envy, for example, falls into the asexual spectrum. They don't feel sexual attraction as a norm (which is the same as saying they experience very limited sexual attraction / desire), but they are sex-favorable. They, however, won't feel sexual attraction for you until they are in love with you.

Also, as always, don't hesitate to educate us in any matter. I identify as asexual myself, but that doesn't mean I can't be misinformed, use terms the wrong way, etc.! 💜
